The girl was not overly friendly & seemed to be more interested in a conversation she was having with a coworker but when she saw we were actually asking for an appointment, she warmed up a little & in the end became friendly enough. It was my granddaughter's 1st official salon experience & told the stylist, & feel it could have been made into a little more of a fun experience but I think that as she saw my granddaughter was going to sit still & cooperate she was a little sweeter to her. The hair cut was good & hopefully it made a sweet memory for my granddaughter. The minus one star was for the initial greeting. But in the end they ended up earning the FOUR other stars.

Botched and overcharged!! This is hands down the worst…read moreexperience I've ever had at a hair salon. Just look at this hack job, I wanted solid black hair. I'm autistic so having to call and talk to her to make an appointment, instead of booking online is bad enough. I can hardly understand her accent. The whole time she did my hair she was much more rough than she needed to be, painfully pulling on my scalp. When my hair was finally done and had been dried, I headed to the front desk she GRABBED ME BY THE SHOULDER (wtf?? Do not touch people without consent!) and insisted she needed to "comb" it. She ran a flat iron through my hair, despite me saying that I didn't need her to style it and I don't like to unnecessarily use heat on my hair. She never told me the cost, but I naturally assumed it would be cheap because the salon is not as nice. It is dilapidated, and the posters on the wall show styles that havent been on trend since 2004. But she charged me $150 saying it's because my hair is long, but Ulta doesn't change the price based on length. Hair color there only costs $81-$102. The higher price is for a master stylist, which Suzy clearly is not. She also has the audacity to only accept cash, so I had to go to the ATM and pay a withdrawal fee. I went to Ulta afterwards for my tinsel and the stylist there was SHOCKED at how awful it was. She took this picture for me. The dye was not rinsed out of my hair, it was still CRUSTY and she PUT A FLAT IRON ON IT LIKE THAT. And as you can see, the color is patchy and uneven. I had to get the color redone, overall having to spend twice what I should have on my hair. Go to the Ulta hair salon instead, they are so much better in every way!

22 hours ago NEW I…read morescheduled my appointment four days in advance. The day of my appointment, I woke up to multiple texts and a voicemail from the stylist, Callie. Callie said that she had a cancellation earlier in the day and wanted me to come in at 1:30 instead of 3:30. She said that she could still do 3:30 if I preferred. When I said no, I can't come in earlier than 3:30 she said that it's not going to work today due to a "scheduling conflict" and actually tried to blame me, saying that she made many attempts to get ahold of me sooner while I was asleep. She did not offer to reschedule. Again, I scheduled 4 days in advance online AND had to give them my credit card number in order to secure my appointment. I'm sorry to ruin the 5 star rating since my old babysitter is the owner but this lack of professionalism is inexcusable.

The business is always clean and it's so nice to be offered coffee or tea while you wait for your awesome hair experience. When I need my hair dyed, highlighted or cut I always see Cassie, she is the owner. She is just the kindest person, but beyond her awesome personality her talent with color is superb! I have dark hair and I like to get subtle highlights which Cassie gets right everytime even though I worry about them turning brassy she knows exactly what to do to keep them looking great! My most recent visit was a fearful one because I had lost an extreme amount of hair after having Covid. Cassie was very comforting and helped me feel at ease with cutting my hair short... I was scared that I would hate it. I ended up loving the short hair look! At times when my gray hair has not taken the color well she has made sure to correct it and never made me feel awkward or pay extra. To note that this has only happened one time in the several years of seeing Cassie. You will not be disappointed! There is so much talent in this business!

After losing most of my hair to meds last summer, it was time to just let the rest of it go. The new hair was coming in, and I looked like a lion with a rat tail if I tried to pull back what was left of my blonde scraggles. I'd had short hair before, and I know it takes someone who KNOWS how to cut short hair to get the job done right. I'd looked far and wide, and while many salons claimed to do short cuts, they either showed NO photos of short cuts, or didn't show anything that appealed to me. A short-haired friend referred me to Ashlan, and it was a piece of cake from there. My hair has always been straight, so what a wonderful surprise to come up not only short, but also curly! She handled that well, and I'm thrilled with the fresh, new look. Thanks, Ashlan! See you for touch ups!

When they closed I asked where she was headed next and followed her here, to her own place! It's super easy to get to, right on Main Street across from the Market. It's in a small room off to the side of the hair salon, it's perfect for one person at a time. There is a seat inside and one outside to wait. No issue really since you should totally just make an appointment with her ahead of time so you won't need to wait when you get there anyway. Shannon does mostly men cuts so far as I know, though I know she does cuts for women too. The reason I go to her is I like someone who knows how to do great fades and understands the difference between a 1 and a 1 1/2. I don't have a ton of hair but I like it well taken care of. Shannon does an epic job. She also offer beard trims and shaves. While I do not get shaved, I do maintain a beard and always book a beard trim after my haircut so I can get it all cleaned up. Shannon has a great hand with a straight razor and I always leave happy and with a great haircut. I would 100% recommend you give her a shot if you're looking for a great barber, shave, and fine detail work.
