I went I. To hair my hair cut since my chemo therapy had finally stopped and my hair began to grow some. I was excited for a pretty cut. I'd lost all my hair in 45 days once chemo began. So I'm sure you can understand how excited I was to get a pretty cut and style. The hair stylist was shown a picture of my desired cut. She began chopping away on my hair, without a wash or even a slight spray to dampen My hair. Nope she used nothing, no Spray bottle. She didn't offer to wash my hair, My hair is very thick, I asked for it to be thinned out, as well. it is very thick. I couldn't get it to hold a curl. She began hacking away on my hair, without out water or shampoo. All Uneven cutting and it is sticking out everywhere. it Looked terrible, uneven, she was unprofessional and she just kept making excuses. I'd like a refund or a free cut. She said she was experienced, yet cutting someone hair without washing my hair, or without dampening it. Totally lazy and unprofessional. after cancer and chemo my hair was the one thing I was excited to have done, and she complete botched it, contact me to correct this issue. read more

The worst haircut I've ever had. I went in there to get pony tails cut to donate to Locks of Love. My stylist said they donate to Wigs for Kids. Which was great to me and made me happy. She measured my hair put it in 3 ponytails and cut them off. Next came my haircut. I told her I wanted bangs and wanted my hair layered so my curly, wavy hair would be happy and natural. She started cutting and again I made my request for layers I my hair. She continued cutting and I asked her again to layer my hair. She ignored me and left me with a bob. A bob! All of my hair is pretty much I e length. I know she could have cut my hair as requested because she was a general manager or something like that and had worked there for years. I was hoping to get a great salon experience even paying extra for a shampoo and blow dry. I got nothing of the sort. Instead I was treated badly . One of my neighbors gets her hair cut there and she gets a decent haircut. Obviously the woman that cuts her hair is a better stylist than I had today. The vibe at the store is kinda sterile. There were no other customers there except me at about 9:15 am. Evidently they were busy the day before before. And not on Christmas eve. Is that why I got such a terrible haircut? No, I don't think so. read more

too many upcoming appointment "reminders" - one is ok but FIVE is a bit much - ya think??

I was visiting the area over the weekend. My child who is in treatment for cancer suddenly decided he was okay getting his haircut. He has been protesting a haircut since he lost all of his hair during intense chemo so I jumped when he agreed. Walked into this place.... My kiddo is 5 and his hair is not long. It's taken 9 months to grow his hair back. The stylist used the word "bald" (trigger for my kiddo) so I explained that he did NOT want to be bald and why. She was very kind about making sure he was comfortable with his cut. One swoop around the sides of his head with a 2 and he was done. Same for my other son. My daughter wanted layers but when she came back home to style it, the layers around her face are pretty uneven. One side is way shorter. I should have asked about the cost. This disappointing adventure cost is a whopping $91! Apparently they charge the same rate for a child's cut. My fault for not asking but I have never been ripped off for a kids' cut before. Two stars for taking us right away although now it makes perfect sense why they had time. read more

Got a hair cut today 11/30/2023. Worst I've ever had! She only spent 10 minutes cutting my hair and when she said she was done I was shocked. She only asked me 2 questions the whole time. " how do you want your hair," and " is this how you normally do it?". I know I should've said "no can you redo it," but I consider it rude to tell a professional hair stylist how to do their job. A professional would've asked more questions. What I normally get asked: "How is this length?" "Do you want the back, square or round?" "How do you style your hair?" "How is your day?" It's unbelievable how bad this was! I remember as a child getting made fun for a bad hair cut I once had. This is comparable to the same one. read more

On the weekends, you can normally walk in to a Supercuts and wait maybe 30 min. I walked into Supercuts on Niblick at 11:45am and they only offered appointments 2 hours later! Has something changed about walk ins?! Welp, time to check out that barber shop near Albertsons... read more

A complete transformation. Ella was my stylist. I have not had my hair cut in many years. It was long, dead and depressing. I decided it was time for a change so I took my chances. I wanted a new look to remind of who I use to be. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she effortlessly transformed me. 6 or 7 inches off the length some long layers and I feel years younger. My hair feels thicker and healthy. The compliments I've gotten on my style from strangers, friends, family in two days make me feel like a new person. I can do so much more with my hair now. I absolutely love it. I use to just put all my hair up in a clip. Yesterday I styled it and didn't use a clip at all. My sister commented it was the first time she saw me wear my hair down in years. Thank you Ella you are amazing. See you in six weeks to maintain this amazing cut. read more

I had a very relaxing experience a nice shampoo cut and blow dry. I will go back again

Easy check-in process when I arrived as a walk-in. At first it seemed like I might have to wait a while but some people who had checked in before me never showed for their appointments so my wait was maybe 15 mins. Jessica gave me an excellent trim & refresh on my layers (mid-length women's cut). She was so kind and skilled; just the hair refresher I needed. I would absolutely see her again. read more

I am new to the area and needed a hair cut. Went in to Supercuts yesterday morning and ask if I could get in. The woman at the reception desk said yes and the the wait would be 30 to 45 min. I ask if I could do some shopping and return in 20 or so minutes and hold my place. She said sure. I did a little shopping and returned about 20 min later and waited to be called and I waited and waited. 45 min crawled by and at the 1 hr mark I told myself the if the next person called wasn't me I would leave. A women was just finishing up and I thought I would be next, but just as she came to the counter another customer walk in the door and said he had an appointment. And he was seated. At this point I left. I understand that appointment should be honored, but don't tell me that it will be 30 to 45 min when it will be well over and hour. I am done with Supercuts and will never return. Dan M read more

I took my 16-year-old daughter in for a haircut yesterday, and the haircutters were so over-the-top rude it was downright bizarre. My daughter's haircutter was brusque and hostile, and her coworker, for some reason I can't fathom, ridiculed me relentlessly for my choice of clipper guard for my kid's hair. If that sounds odd, it's because IT WAS. It went something like this: Me: I state my choice of clipper guard. Random haircutter who wasn't even working with us: "WHAT did you say? Did you really say that? I can't believe you said that! OH MY GOD. Really? REALLY?" Me: "I'm sorry. Is there a problem? That's the size we use." Our own haircutter: "Jesus Christ!" Then she stomps off into the back room. Friends, it was so weird I thought there might be a hidden camera somewhere, and I'd be the butt of some joke on TikTok. Could still happen! I would give one star, but my daughter's haircut was fine. I'm never going back to this location again. read more

As always, great store, great service, really great stylist. She always gets my highest recommendation I could possibly give.

The manager Laura is insanely rude and unprofessional. One of her stylists ruined my hair and when I came in to have it fixed which was offered to me by the salon she tried to condescendingly act like my hair was perfectly fine and make it seem like I was being dramatic when my hair was in fact ruined. The tone and attitude she carried with me was ridiculous. Please don't give your money to this place or trust them with your hair. read more

I love Supercuts. The staff are friendly and professional. They do a great job and they allow walk ins as well as appointments. Even as a walk in I often get served quickly. I went in on 5/15/2021 for a wash and blow dry since having surgery last week and being unable to wash my own hair. I was lucky enough to get Mike helping me. Mike was so kind and gentle. Mike was so great and I will definitely be back for my next wash! read more

Do not come here. Older white woman gave me about the worst haircut I've ever had. She rushed me out of the chair, was resistant to what I suggested for my hair, and did not give me a taper even though she said she would. She was training the woman next to her and I know it will not go well for her if she learns from this woman. This has happened before with a woman who's hands would shake while she cut my hair. read more

New to Paso Robles and seeing someone's inquiry for a good hair stylist on nextdoor.com I was confused as ever as there were a ton of responses. I decided instead to go to Supercuts & establish a relationship there. One week after having a full color I knew it was a disappointing failure. I had paid a lot of money and it looked like when I had gone in one week later - zebra stripe. Usually I just chalk things like this up as a failure and I never go back to that place again, but this time I called to see if they could do anything and Lara did an amazing job. She is an experienced colorist and knows her trade. She fixed my hair and put my faith back into establishing a relationship with Supercuts. I will definitely be going back to her. She did not rush me through like I thought might happen....she spent a lot of time on me and did a great job--no more zebra stripe one week later. Thank you Lara! Peggy K. read more

I've tried most of the franchise hair salons around town and Supercuts was the most disappointing. I don't expect a detailed 30 minute haircut, especially for my thinning hair, but $27 for about an 8 minute haircut...I really felt ripped off. My usual experience at these types of franchises includes at least 15 minutes, some precision scissor work here an there, a mirror held up to see the back asking if it is OK, a little friendly chit chat, a smile and a genuine thank you. I experienced very little of the above. I would rather pay $35 at one of the local barbers. At least they spend some time making you think you're getting your money's worth. read more

I was very happy with my haircut from stylist Shaunna. She listened and understood my problems with thick, wavy, frizzy hair. My hair was overgrown from the pandemic lockdown & it was a hot mess! Worst place to get a haircut, they charge a ridiculous amount $20 and can't even do a simple military haircut correctly. Only came here because of the check in however they can't even do that right and see you at that time. I accidentally put my own name down instead of my husbands by accident, I don't see what the problem with that is, it's not like I'm getting a haircut for 2 ppl. They said it wouldn't affect my time that it was ok and we would still be seen. 20 min later they take someone else that just walked in. I definitely don't mind a wait for a good haircut and will be going to Nicks barbershop where the price is the same and they do way better cuts. read more

Lara is the only woman here who knows how to cut hair. Laticia is one to AVOID. If you get her, pray for the best or wait for a different person. She cut my sister's hair & it was uneven , even after she asked that she cut it the same length on each side. She cut my mother's hair next & it was mediocre at best, had Lara done it it would have been amazing. I had already gotten my hair cut by Lara a few days earlier, I shaved the right side slightly & had it shortened all around aside from my left side & kept my bangs long & swooping to the left- it was a great haircut, I loved it! I decided since I was there again I would get the other side shaved too, while keeping my bangs & everything else the same as before- I wanted to be adventurous & go for it, unfortunately Laticia called me up , I had a nagging feeling that I should have had Lara do it since she had done my hair the other day but I kept quiet- I am now kicking myself for not speaking up. Laticia looked confused, wide-eyed & scared as I told her I wanted my left side shaved like my right side, she just nodded her head as if she understood & just started shaving everything off! She didn't understand at all what I told her & turned me away from the mirror & shaved off all of the nice cutting/styling Lara had done - I unfortunately realized too late what she had done. This is the WORST haircut I have ever had & it's made me feel like crap, & I'm stuck with that feeling & wearing beanies & hoodies until my hair grows back now. Laticia, take some pointers from Lara or go back to styling school. I am so disappointed with this horrible job you have done. I had to have Lara fix up the areas she left looking like sh*t & hacked - & my sister has her even out her hair cut too. When I go back, MONTHS from now, I will only be having Lara cut my hair. As for the rest of the staff, they chat a little too much when people walk in & make you wait till they are done talking until they even look at you & greet you. read more

I am visiting Paso Robles from Seattle for a family event and needed to get my hair cut and styled. My hair stylist at home was not in town to see me before I left, so I took a chance and walked into Supercuts this morning. So happy that I did. I was able to get in with Alli within about 15 mins. I have really long, thick hair and she did an outstanding job. With my type of hair, new stylists often rush to get it done and are impatient with how long it takes to cut, wash, dry and straighten. Alli was incredibly patient and detail oriented. I could not have been happier with her customer service or the end result. I had a great experience today from start to finish. I will definitely go in again on my next visit to Paso. read more

While I was on a motorcycle trip I spend a night in town and decided to get a haircut in order to get rid off the scary look of helmet-hair. So, I stopped here and Ashley immediately seated me and cut my hair with a shampoo before and rinse after. First time I left a Supercuts and didn't itch and scratch like I've had fleas! She was friendly, chatty and a very pleasant young lady. She even let me know where to go in town for a good dinner. I listened her advice and went to a BBQ place and enjoyed every minute of it. read more
