A very clean and put together establishment that doesn't 'feel' like I'm at my wife's salon. They really go above and beyond here. Will be back for more!

My personal favorite is Jess, who does a good job of translating my vague and poorly expressed desires into the haircut that I actually want. The atmosphere is chill. There are TV's in every booth if that's what you want. You can chat with your stylist, but they are good at recognizing when you'd just like to sit quietly during your cut. I really appreciate the wash, hot towel, and product after the cut. While the price has been increasing every few months for the past 3 years, I still find it to be reasonable for the quality and experience I'm receiving.

We stopped by at 9 am on a Sunday and I was surprised they were at a 45 min wait, but luckily we had time to do some other shopping in the area. Everyone here was very nice. I was surprised they didn't shampoo/condition and didn't style. It was a straight up cut. I guess the price is fair ($20 for a child, $22 for adults) but just keep that in mind if you are looking for a pampered experience.

I made all of my 2026 appts in January 2026 so I had the appts I needed for the year. I go in approximately every 6 weeks. In March I made it for my Birthday so I would have my hair done for celebrating. The receptionist calls to cancel my appointment because my stylist is going on an unplanned vacation (one of their kids gave them the trip as a gift for Christmas so why did they even schedule my appt in March if they knew in December they would be gone) and doesn't even try to fit me in, just says I can schedule with another stylist. Let me add to this that I have extremely difficult hair to cut and style. Not just "anyone" can do it. So I'm left high and dry for my Birthday. Now I have a June 1st appt scheduled and I find out today, May 26, that another vacation has taken priority over my appt and again they cannot fit me in before he leaves. When someone charges $108 for a haircut you expect some professionalism and customer service. Could the stylist call and try to fit me in? Nope. Makes the receptionist do his dirty work. Maybe he should just retire and vacation all he wants rather than make appts he doesn't keep. He never used to do until this last year. I am finding there are much friendlier, very talented and more customer service oriented salons in White Bear than this one and they aren't as expensive. Would not recommend based on the non existent concern about their clients schedules/needs. Overpriced for what you don't get in my opinion.

I accompanied my husband for a haircut because our 2 year old has never had a haircut and wanted to watch daddy get his before she gets her first cut. There were only a few occupied chairs while we were there and we tried to stay out of the way. The woman who cut my husband hair was not pleasant and seemed annoyed that any of us were there including my husband, the customer. Which, ok fine, understandable you don't want a crowd watching you work, but then say that. Tell us to wait in the lobby whatever. I asked if they did kids hair, they do. Which made it very strange that they don't like Kids. Aside from all of that - I could have done the same cut at home. My husband had in fact been cutting his hair at home. He was opening to getting a big change and stated that to her and asked her opinion on what would work. She said it's up to him, no direction, no suggestion. When she was done she acted like she was pissed to have had a customer. Again I get it you had spectators not a normal request, but are you getting paid? Is there no customer service? My haircut at a women's salon comes with a head massage, wash, blow dry, tea, water, consultation on the cut, friendly service and takes 5 times as long and costs the same... Husband agreed it was awkward and not a good experience with zero consult on the cut. Won't be back for men's or kid's cut. Update because I just read what is included in their Men's Haircut service. She did not do any of it, other than cut. She did not even style it when she was done, and he has long hair.

I'm not being dramatic -- it looked like someone took clippers to my head and just started hacking away. The fade was completely botched, cut all the way down to the skin in random spots in the middle of my head, leaving my hair looking patchy, uneven, and honestly embarrassing. When I reached out to the manager, I did get a refund -- but not even a real apology. No accountability, no concern, no offer to fix it. The response I got was a cold, dismissive: "Sorry you didn't like your haircut." Not sorry we ruined your hair -- just a passive-aggressive brush-off. Don't do it!!
