Not only does she do a great job but she has let me text her spontaneously to see if she has any openings for today (kudos for going above and beyond in customer service and letting me text her personally due to being deaf!) She has always been great at listening if I just want a trim- as well as when I plopped down in the chair and said "cut it short! And give me something a little artistic!". She never gives me a hard tie either for cutting some of my own hair to stretch out the time between haircuts (I'm a busy gal and making time to update my do is always a challenge with crazy my schedule.) Steph is only there on weekdays. It seemed like this last year she was the only person working there at all. They did just hire 2 new people as well so their hours should be back to normal soon.

Mike cut my 4 year olds hair and he was freaking stellar. My son still talks about him like he's a good friend. He also wouldn't let me tip him the $20 I was gonna give. Do you know what it's like to try to cut a 4 year olds hair? He deserves a $20 tip. But Mike is a class act and made its seem like it was totally his pleasure. Second but no lesson important to know: if you're wondering about lash extensions Autumn is the girl you want. I've been going to her for almost a year now and it's been worth every penny. I followed her from her old spot in Champlin and I drive from Elk River to see her. She's the best. Sometimes I have to bring my kids with and she never complains even though it's kinda a pain in the ass. I'd shower her with gifts and cash if I was a rich person. My lashes always look amazing and I've never had one single issue.

She really put in work and was very detailed. I felt so pampered! I asked for partial foil for hair 5-8 past shoulders-baby highlights and icy blonde. Brownee herself is so personable, sweet and considerate. She was upfront on pricing-I haven't experienced that before from other companies. She was honest, didn't oversell, and wasn't pushy which is something that deters me. I felt at ease in her chair. She truly is a professional and knows what she's doing! Brownee has my buisiness going forward. I recommend her!

Terrible service from start to finish. Walked in 15 mins prior to appt for kids cut and was told…read morethey would be right with us. A minute later a woman walked up to front desk and did not greet us in any way. 5 mins later she says "come on back ." Doesn't introduce herself, doesn't even try to come off as friendly, doesn't ask me or my son what we are looking to have done. I show her a photo for inspiration and asked if she could do it. Nothing at all special, just shorter on sides, similar to a fade. Maybe this salon isn't the place for this style haircut, which is why I showed it to her to make sure she was comfortable with it. I said maybe we start off longer and can go shorter, she didn't respond. I sat down as I don't like to hover during haircuts. Next thing I know she is at the front desk with my son, didn't even call me back to see if it was acceptable before he got out of the chair. Of course, it was NOT acceptable. Not only is it NOTHING like the photo shown, the back was brought up EXTREMELY AND EMBARRASSINGLY high! And CROOKED. Clearly the neck hair down further had not been trimmed either. I mentioned the severely crooked line and she grabbed her trimmer and I said it's already too high but needs to be straight. She proceeded to cut it even higher to straighten it out. Still nothing with neck hair. I couldn't even speak to ask her to cut neck hair for fear that I would lose it. I had the neck hair trimmed by my husband when we got home. Do not go here, do not see Jamel for a kids cut unless you want your kid to be self conscious. She said two words to my son. Worst experience ever among my 4 boys who have been getting cuts for 18 years. Shame on me for giving this place a shot when our normal place was booked. Wish I didn't have to even give one star to get this message out.

She was very efficient and we had a good amount of time chatting but also solo time. She made sure it was the way I wanted my hair, and told me to call if I had any problems or questions about the care! Definitely recommend for price and quality of perm! ($180 for short length hair)

Kid's hair is more of a quick, no frills kind of a place, and you can select a "wash + cut" option (no styling) that is quick and fairly priced. I consider this place "my salon," but in the past year, I've brought each of my two daughters and…read moremy husband, all to see "my stylist." The salon itself is the type that makes us 40-somethings feel just a tad frumpier than we are--a tad more like we're wearing "mom jeans," and committing several other fashion offenses to boot. But we grit our teeth and think of England, or better yet, the glorious hair that will be our just reward for an hour of imagining all the cutting remarks going on inside the heads of the lithe, tattoed, pierced. and oh-so-chic crowd. Thing is, you find a great stylist, you hang on for dear life! Mine took my 11-year old daughter's long, thick, coarse blanket of hair, and our vague opinions as to what should be done, and working with us the entire time--never forcing her will--came up with an age-appropriate, but fashion forward style. She taught my daughter how to style it and reminded her that it was okay to not do much at all with it. She kept in mind that fractions of inches were as important as miles to the tween set. In short, she is a gem. Greeters and schedulers are always professional and courteous. Prices are slightly too steep for us to keep our kids coming regularly; but as I lazily only get mine cut once or twice a year, the cost doesn't bother me. Requiring a cut every month or so, it was tough to get the spouse to come even once, used as he was to his $15 cuts. But after seeing what could be done with his thinning hair, he hasn't looked back! I have no experience with the colorists, but they always look busy and committed, and I would certainly choose Rocco Altobelli for coloring if needed. Next time, maybe a temporary tattoo?

I hadn't gotten a cut since last May due to the usual lack of time and money. I've also had an extremely difficult time finding a talented stylist in Chicago, and it was getting exhausting. My mom told me she had the greatest girl who listened to her and did a great cut. I rolled my eyes and skeptically agreed to see Lolita at Rocco Altobelli. The whole visit was an overall wonderful experience, Lolita was sweet and really knows hair, she works quickly but wasn't rushed. She did an awesome job on my cut, it even looks great when I'm lazy and don't style it. I guess mother really does know best!! I'm totally coming back to Lolita everytime I visit my family!
