The salon was clean and well decorated. The chairs were comfortable and the wash bowl chairs were electric, so I could adjust it until I felt it was at the perfect height. I even got a hot towel behind my neck during the scalp massage. Overall a great value for such a high-end salon. I will most definitely be coming back. In fact, I already booked my next appointment!

Affordable....however I switched to European Wax Center just because it's less painful. Not due to poor skills. I can style my own hair day to day, but when I want a curly updo I make sure I make an appointment. One updo pic is done by Jill. I was just here, hated every second of it. I had gotten a perm over the summer somewhere else and…read morewas wearing it long but wanted a cut to give some structure and movement, but still be able to play with the texture of the perm because I like it. I scheduled with Hasaan. Showed him two videos and a photo, he only asked me "you want to keep it full in the back?" I said yes, because it's like that in the photos. I felt like he barely looked but I didn't question because sometimes people are just that good, they already know what's up by a glance. He asked me if I liked the perm, I talk about how I grew my hair out for a year and how I didn't want to keep getting fades because it was too much maintenance to go every 1-2 weeks. Other than that he doesn't talk to me which is fine because I only really want to be communicated with about my hair and haircut. Basically no consultation about my hair and goals, especially as a new client. He busted out the clippers and before I could protest all my hair is gone. He asks if the length is good afterwards, all I can say is yes? What am I supposed to say, hey can you glue my hair back on my head? I obviously didn't want it any shorter. Look, I don't tell people what to do in their own profession as I am not a hairstylist but it really should've just been some scissor work. Even with the longest guard it would've still been shorter than what I had asked for. I was just asking for layers and a trim - if that was not communicated through the photo and videos I shared then why wasn't I asked. The back isn't even "full" like he confirmed with me, it seems like he just wanted me in and out and gave me a generic short haircut I didn't ask for. It's uneven, I have long stray hairs. My hair is sticking out because he cut it short, which I didn't ask for, and when it's short it sticks out. I know my hair, that's why I didn't want it. Paid $45 for the haircut (plus tip because I'm not a jerk and I know people need to live). Could've gotten this haircut somewhere else for less. I was and still am irritated as hell because I just don't understand how it went from what I wanted to what I got. He didn't even try. And I effectively lost time spent growing my hair out and money I spent on the perm that he just cut off. This was by hair the most messed up haircut.

I made all of my 2026 appts in January 2026 so I had the appts I needed for the year. I go in approximately every 6 weeks. In March I made it for my Birthday so I would have my hair done for celebrating. The receptionist calls to cancel my appointment because my stylist is going on an unplanned vacation (one of their kids gave them the trip as a gift for Christmas so why did they even schedule my appt in March if they knew in December they would be gone) and doesn't even try to fit me in, just says I can schedule with another stylist. Let me add to this that I have extremely difficult hair to cut and style. Not just "anyone" can do it. So I'm left high and dry for my Birthday. Now I have a June 1st appt scheduled and I find out today, May 26, that another vacation has taken priority over my appt and again they cannot fit me in before he leaves. When someone charges $108 for a haircut you expect some professionalism and customer service. Could the stylist call and try to fit me in? Nope. Makes the receptionist do his dirty work. Maybe he should just retire and vacation all he wants rather than make appts he doesn't keep. He never used to do until this last year. I am finding there are much friendlier, very talented and more customer service oriented salons in White Bear than this one and they aren't as expensive. Would not recommend based on the non existent concern about their clients schedules/needs. Overpriced for what you don't get in my opinion.
