I went to the Market Heights location as usual the other day. The salon was clean, friendly, and convenient for me. The most important though was the stylist Rawaa. This was the third time she cut my hair and she is great. My hair is hard to cut and she gave me the best cuts all three times. I took my son here for a hair cut and the whole process was horrible. Rawaa talked the whole time about how she is married but then brags about sleeping with her male clients specifically military men. How can the owner have a manager like this. This is bad business to have a manager who sleeps around with her customers and brags about it. Women beware if your husband comes to this store and gets a hair cut by her. Really clean and well kept shop. Kind and friendly staff, Covid safe and taking precautions to stop the spread. Only concern is the actual hair cut. Asked for a trim, no more than 2 inches, and to have my hair cut slanted from my bangs to the back. One half of my head looks really good and really well done, other half looks half assed and quickly done. This place is a JOKE!!! The stylist did NOT do what she was asked to do. She had an ATTITUDE the ENTIRE time!!!! When you go to their site to check in online, if you try to do so in the last 30 minutes, you get a message like in my picture saying to "arrive before closing to receive service." They close at 6; that means you should be able to arrive between 5:30-5:59 and still receive service. Very rude and unprofessional and ignorant I drop off my teenage daughter like I always do and wait outside to have her haircut done. I've never had any problems doing so until we came to this Harker Heights location Great clips. The barber lady we don't know her name embarrassed my daughter and told her she had lice and refused service to her. So in the parking lot all I could see was white stuff in her hair so I took her home after I thought she had lice and came to find out it was just dry scalp and dandruff. I think this place is great and the prices are good. I get tons of coupons to get hair cuts for $8 here and they do great cuts. Granted, there are some bad hair stylists that aren't good. My whole family went in for haircuts on Memorial Day this year. My daughter's hair was long and to her bottom, so this short haircut for her was a big deal to us. Camilla was our stylist. She asked how long I wanted my 5-year old daughter's hair to be and I said that I wanted it to hang below her chin and not sit on her shoulders. I was greeted within the first 5 seconds of entering even though there was clearly going to be at least a half hour wait. I ran over to Target to grab a few items and when I returned I did not have long to wait at all. Cassie was my stylist, and I explained to her what a mess my last haircut was even though she could obviously see the botched job I had done a few months ago. So I decided to try this place for a trim on my hair.. just a trim. I expected the wait to be pretty long because its always busy. I waited about 30 minutes and finally seen a hair stylist named Bridget. Usually when I'm going to do something major with my hair I will go to a more experienced salon instead of "quickie" but seeing that this was going to be just a TRIM I figured I was wrong. She took 45 minutes to cut my hair and my layers. A lady who had longer hair than me and was just getting a trim got her hair cut AFTER me and was done wayyy before me. I went home and noticed the next day that my hair in length was completely uneven. I was furious. I called and talked to the "manager" named Rachel who told me I can come back any time and get it fixed. I told her I didn't want to wait in line again for a mistake they made and wanted it done by someone who knew what the hell they were doing. She told me to come on Friday night. I came and didn't wait long and got it fixed by a hair stylist named Angela who saw what that stylist Bridget did to my hair and had to cut MORE hair off that I wasn't planning on doing because of that girl's mistake. Granted I love the cut she did but I was really focused on letting my hair grow long and now I have to start all over again. I'm debating on whether to talk to the "manager's" manager because I'm so upset about the fact MORE had to be cut off my hair all because this girl didn't know how to do a basic TRIM!
