I believe it's husband and wife that were there and both are from Vietnam. They are pretty Catholic with all the popes hung on the wall so a big plus for a Catholic like me. They did a good. Do you have a full day and no time or real interest in anything but keeping your hair out of your face? Do you just need something easy to take care of that takes less than 5 minutes so you can move on with your life? If that's not you, no big deal, but this review isn't really geared toward what you might find useful. To those of you like me, I say in and out in about 15 minutes for $15 exceeded my expectations of a chain like this. We were out running errands on Sunday so it was slow because everyone was watching the game. We were next door and saw the lack of line and jumped in. We both were way overdue for a hair cut and $30 for the two of us was a really good deal. My hair was a frizzy, entangled mess from the insane wind outside but the woman who worked on me was quick in her work and caused me no pain with unnecessary tugging. She was casually chatty while really picking up on what I want- easy and simple. I noticed that, appreciated it, and just let her do her thing. That first cut taking off 13 inches was a breath of fresh air! It's not my record, but definitely a huge relief. She trimmed off some more and threw in some layers and I'm very satisfied. It's almost been a week and all I have to do is run a brush through my hair in the morning and run my fingers through it when I emerge from the wind. Just long enough to throw up in a pony tail and cheap as hell. That's what I'm talking about! The woman who worked on my husband was equally friendly and efficient. The only thing that bothers me probably won't effect too many potential clients. I donate my hair every year because there is always so much of it, lol, and I was here 2 years ago and they donated it for me. It seems that now they just bag it up and give it to you to donate. Certainly not the end of the world, just something that was convenient last time I tried them and isn't now. In fact, that's become more common in the last 5 or 6 years with a lot of places. Just know what you are getting into. If you prefer your salons to be more high end and to get a lot of personal attention or coloring, etc. there is nothing wrong with that, this just isn't the place for you. I am rating this for people in the first paragraph, and for that they get 4 stars.

She not only broke off my hair she damaged it bad. I am having to baby and try and regrow my hair back out. She did this to me out of spite. Since I called and complained on her to the top. Her manager Tyler let her do my hair after he got the complaint. Said he would watch her and tell her what to do to fix it. He left the area of the salon and never returned until he was called over the store speaker to come back in. He was out on floor some where . Thanks for ruining my hair. I asked her for a simple trim (took off three or so inches) with long layers. The stylist hacked my hair off. It looks like a weed whacker cut my hair and frankly I could have done a better job on myself at home. There is a no refund policy, and hair cuts these days are not cheap. There's no excuse for me walking out of the salon after spending 70+ dollars looking like this. I didn't realize how bad it was until a few days later when I washed it. She had curled it and didn't show me the back before she had curled it, so I had no clue. I know that most places want you to come in and have the same person fix it to avoid giving refunds, but there was no way I was going to come back in to the same person to have them mess up my hair even more. I decided to go to a different stylist at the salon, Kenzie, for a balayage and to fix the cut. This second stylist was amazing and I will be a regular client of hers from now on. We had to take off 3+ more inches just to fix the issue. All in all with both cuts I had to lose a year's worth of growth. I know it's just hair, but it sucks having to cut off so much when you didn't want to in the first place.

Henry's Hair Salon only had a handful of Yelp reviews but I liked what I read and the pictures I saw so I decided to give it a try and am glad I did. Henry has cut my hair four times now and I can say without hesitation that he is a very skilled barber who takes a ton of pride in his work. He puts in a lot of effort in cutting hair, keeping his shop clean and well maintained, and providing warm and friendly service. I've been to dozens of barbers in my life and I would say Henry's trimming/cutting skills, as well as his likeable personality, are right up there with the best ones. He is also meticulous and will take plenty of time to ensure his clients are thoroughly satisfied before leaving the shop. The shop is very spacious and has been immaculate each time I've visited. Henry takes appointments so I've never had to wait for the barber chair. Unlike some places, Henry does not overbook appointments and leaves ample time for each client. His prices are also at or below the other shops in the area for men's haircuts. Henry is a small business owner whose care and services for his clients are clearly evident. Highly recommend!
