I waited 30…read moreminutes while Sara rubbed this dude down that was finished with his haircut when I walked in. The cut was done. She took him back to wash his hair, was back there for 10+ minutes then brought him back to the chair where she spent another 15 minutes rubbing on him. Finally she told me she had an appointment after him if I wanted to wait. Unbelievable. There were 2 stylists working. Sara should have had the common courtesy to not waste my time. I was 7 feet from her the entire time but she chose to say nothing. Either cut hair or get a massage license. Not both.

Then I will expound on her skills as, to me, it is as Cleopatra and Queen Makeda were reborn into the most amazing person and they, in their kindness, groom me. A humbling privilege.

I've been coming to Braid Heaven for several years and have ALWAYS been pleased with the service…read moreand quality when getting my hair done. The sisters/family are always on schedule with their appointments and, to me, it doesn't seem like it takes the length of time to get my hair done as it does. I trust Shelly doing my hair and wouldn't trust anyone else to braid my hair. The longest I've kept my braids in was 3.5 months! That was my doing. Some people can last 2-4 months depending upon how quickly your natural hair grows. What I WILL say is that my hair has NEVER fallen out (around the edges/temples) nor has anyone else that I've known to get their hair braided. These friendly ladies have their own style that you can pick another customer out of a crowd. I am always complimented on my hair (even at 3 months - lol). It's wonderful to know that I can sleep in 30 more minutes, in the morning, knowing I don't have to deal with my hair.
