They are always adequately staffed so we typically have short or no wait times. We are used to checking in online first they don't take appointments. April 25, 2026. the last time I will use this Great Clips location. It wasn't the first time a stylist there openly ignored my request and instructions and essentially did exactly the opposite of what I asked, leaving me pretty much scalped. The stylist, last name Yin, may have had poor command of the language, but when I told her how much to leave, she told me "that's too long for you", then did as she pleased with me. I have never been actually angry about a hair cut, and now I am left angry with myself for also letting myself get fleeced for an undeserved gratuity. I'm sure others have a better experience there, but I have had too many bad ones and would rather take a row boat to China for haircut before driving five miles to let this happen again. read more

I took my son in for a haircut and was greeted by Leah. She helped check us in and took us to her station. This was my son's first major haircut, I was nervous he didn't know what to expect. She was very patient with him. When my son was getting upset another employee named Emily was very helpful and tried to distract him with a balloon and silly faces. Lady who cut my hair seemed to be in a major hurry, couldn't get me out of the chair fast enough, didn't seem to take the time make sure my hair was even on the sides, didn't show me the back with a mirror, or even comb my hair when she was done. Today I checked in online from my driveway and drove to the closest Great clips to my home in Duvall. Because it took me over 20 minutes to get there, their checkin system booted me from the cue. Upon arrival I was told they couldn't do anything about it and the wait would be 45-60 minutes. I only go to Great Clips because pretty much any wait with 2 ADHD children is out of the question. I decided to wait because we'd already driven so far out of the way. While my children screamed and misbehaved, appx 2 of 3 customers were told their credit card machine wouldn't connect to the internet. Then they demanded that they go to the cash machine and come back to pay with cash. Sure enough my credit card wouldn't work either. I asked if they had manual credit card slips. She looked puzzled and after poking around under the counter, declared they didn't have anything like that. When I came back with cash later, she just put it in the till and didn't offer me a receipt. Just to note, my credit card worked perfectly at the business next door. read more

They have online checkin, but it starts 5 minutes after they open! By that time five people are ahead of you. If they want you to use online checkin it should start as soon as it opens. I got rid of the app, wants the point in it. read more

I can't say enough about this location! We had a broken hand in the house last year and I was able to get my kiddo a hair wash every other day for 6 weeks. Always with a smile from staff. Then a dance and I was out of town. Kiddo got a fantastic "up do" by the fun and helpful employee! Her hair looked incredible!!! We also get all of our hair cut there regularly. read more

I would suggest not seeing Lea. I woke up on Friday morning threw my hair in a pony and went in for a cut. Now it has been probably 4 months since I have had a cut & my ends we're getting pretty crispy and my hair had been in a ponytail. Lea made me feel 1. Bothered by the fact that I was there, 2. she couldn't seem to control her face of disgust while brushing the ends. She did this intentionally to try to make me feel her disgust (which didn't work) she didn't smile once just her frowny yuck face. I offered to brush it out myself, because her face said more than she was. she replied "my face says this because I'm concerned about your ends breaking more". Yeah okay lady whatevs... I will not return. From the time I walked in the greeting was not welcoming and the vibes were just blah. Customer service was poor. LEA needs to control her face if she is gonna work in customer service. Maybe throw a smile or two into the mix. Even with bad service a mediocre hair cut & the fact that she tried to make me feel uncomfortable I still tipped her for her work then went about my life. My husband was going for a haircut, so I went with him. Older woman gave us a dirty look when we came in; stomped over to desk and gave me the "what do you want look" so I said "I'd like a hair cut." She rolled her eyes as if she were the head cheerleader and I were an ugly freshman boy speaking to her. My husband gave her our phone number (lesson one--you are not worthy of a name or a greeting) She grunted and walked off. When it was my turn to get a trim, all I asked was for a little bit shorter, but no fullness off the sides. I got another dirty look, and she didn't even respond. Interesting, that when she shaved my neck, she also shaved my back and shoulders as low as my tank top would allow. (lesson two--expect to be treated like cow poop) Strange that no one else has told me I'm as hairy as an ape. The results are that I am now walking around with hair 1/2 inch (yes I measured) longer on the left than the right. (lesson three--some people shouldn't work with the public, and those people work here anyway) I would so much rather spend $50 and be treated with respect and have a decent hair cut that strangers do not comment upon than throw money at that bitch EVER AGAIN.
