Lovely, clean, well-lit building. The salon is spotless. The receptionist/appointment setter is so warm and welcoming. I've never had an issue getting an appointment and I have been accommodated on short notice (thank you). My experiences with hair cut and color have been wonderful but it absolutely irks me to no end to be charged for a blowout. Many of us go to a salon for a salon experience. That includes an amazing wash with scalp massage and a blowout. Prices are high. Tipping is expected on top of that. And you're getting charged extra to finish the service - which is the blowout. You have no idea how your color and cut look until it's blown out! The website it very generic and desperately needs updating. There is no list of services and there are no prices. Book an appointment is an email form, it's NOT an appointment booking app which ARE available and widely used. There's not even a list of stylists and their specialties.

The stylists are all very nice people with good manners and pleasant personalities. The owner, Katie, is a great person and the stylists are all happy working at Beautique. Krysta specializes in blonding and has done baby lights for me and foils. She also cuts hair and helped me rehab my hair after a different salon really butchered my hair and over processed myI've been completely happy and satisfied with Krysta as my stylist. The salon itself is cute and chic! Very well appointed and a very welcoming atmosphere and ambience. They do carry hair care products and tools, as well as some bespoke clothing items and other small gifts, some of which are handcrafted locally. I discovered the salon through photos shared by women I grew up with as a kid. Their hair looked amazing and I'm so happy I decided to become a client here.

She asks lots of questions to get to know your skin, your issues, products you're currently using, and places an emphasis on organic products. She even includes brief periods of massage, making this the ultimate relaxation experience. This was the first time that I had a facial and didn't break out into hives or a rash afterwards, so clearly, her faith the products she uses is well placed. Extractions weren't painful, and it's clear from the way she speaks about skin that she knows her stuff. If I still lived in the area, I'd be booking appointments with Nicole regularly! Facilities for the spa are surprisingly bigger than you would think seeing the entrance, as the salon is within a strip mall. However, the spa is in a separate back area and quite spaceous.

On my first visit, Jenny started to plan my hair journey by asking me about both my hair goals AND my hair history. I really value the time Jenny takes to communicate and explain what I can expect and what my options are based on my history and goals. I have always wanted lighter hair but was always afraid of the potential damage of this process. Thankfully, Jenny always prioritized my hair health! It took us 3 sessions to get to my current goal of VERY light blonde and through it all, Jenny did what was needed to keep my hair long and strong. It felt easy to trust Jenny with my hair as she explained everything to me along the way. She's also very open to feedback so I was very comfortable letting her know when my color goals changed. She was very flexible and got me to my new goals. I absolutely love my new hair; there's so much depth and the colors of my hair blend so smoothly. I also really appreciate how seriously the salon takes COVID-19 protocols. They do not permit walk-ins and do not double book so there is never anyone waiting for a session in the salon. The chairs are well spaced out and they seem to plan it so that not all the chairs are occupied to maintain more than adequate social distancing. At arrival, customer temps are taken and we're instructed to wash our hands before taking a seat. Each chair is immediately wiped down after each service and masks are required while in the salon. I think it's great that they do everything they can to make the customers feel safe.
