Sin, the owner, calmed me down quickly with his obvious and confident knowledge of his trade. He talked to me about what I wanted, what I liked/didn't like about my hair, etc. I'm a fairly anxious guy, especially when it comes to making big changes in how I look, Sin's inviting atmosphere/personality made me feel comfortable asking the questions I wanted to ask and making the requests/adjustments I wanted. As others have said, his feedback was super valuable, and I feel more confident in my hair/look than I have in a while. This was my first time, and it surely won't be my last.

So I have them a try, made an appointment online (which was super simple) and chose to get my hair done by the person who had availability next. It turned out to be this girl Kailynn and she was great! I was in and out, felt very comfortable, everyone was very friendly. I also left paying $35 for a shampoo, cut and style. Which was much cheaper than anywhere else I could find! They are part of a strip mall so there should always be some parking in the lot. They are a full service salon, so whether you need just a trim or a full set of foils they can do it! They also do lashes and waxes. I will definitely be returning here. 10/10 recommend!

For me, picking my rating for ToCher is difficult because while I was very satisfied with my cut…read moreand style, I will never go here again and I will never recommend it to anyone. Why? Great question. I'm a farm girl who finally landed a great job and finally could afford a cut outside of the cheap-o cut places, and I asked my friend at work where she gets her hair done (she always looks amazing!) She recommened ToCher, since old habits die hard, I asked her what price point I could expect and she said about $80 for a cut and color. Ok, sounds good. I made my appointment and I was all gooey when the receptionist handed me a complementary glass of wine. Ooo la la... I sat down in my chair, and struck up a conversation with my stylist, and spilled to her that this was my first time in a real salon, and was super excited that I finally had the money to spoil myself with a great cut and style. I didn't opt for color, just the shampoo, cut and blow-out. Whenshe spun me around, I loved my look! It was flattering and trendy. When I went to check out, she said, that will be $165. I raised my eyebrows, but paid, and tipped gernearously. She offered the products she used, and while I was tempted, I declined from sticker shock. As I was headed out to my car, I reaized, I just got the style from the products, so I should get the mousse, no? I entered the salon again... My stylist was laughing with the receptionist and while I could only make out snippits of the conversation, the part I could hear and will never forget: "How nieve was she! I just made over a $100 tip!" So, I will never be back.

The only way I could think if getting started was to look for the hair product that I use. So I did a search for Purelogy hair products and ToCher Salon came up with a 20% off coupon. I read the bios of the hairdressers on staff at ToCher and decided to check out Tobi Beale. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the haircut she gave me because I have always been loyal to my hairdressers and I really missed my person in Canton. After 3 haircuts I am convinced Tobi knows how to work with curly hair. She makes the cut fit my face and I really appreciate it. Thanks Tobi for having such talent at cutting hair you are a true artist!

I'm new to the area and was in the market for a place to get my brows done. I'm still in the…read moremarket, but since I'm not a woman of extremes, I'll still give one star for every eyebrow they did an okay job on. To start, Jenna was 30 minutes late for my appointment. That isn't to say she had an appointment run over, because that happens and usually isn't the stylist's fault. Rather, she walked into the building 30 minutes after my appointment time. To her credit, I think the receptionist did her level best at approximating customer service with her sort-of apology (although it was more, "Sorry you have to wait but also the spot you booked on our website wasn't supposed to be there," than an expression of remorse). After looking at other reviews online, this appears to be a trend for them. So if you think you'll just pop in for a quick wax during your lunch break, make sure you have a very cool boss who isn't a stickler for the whole "showing up on time" thing first. I'm not sure if Jena is in training, but it sure sounded that way from how she had to be coached by a mysterious floating voice standing just off behind my head. I was not introduced to this mysterious brow waxing phantom, as her presence was never actually acknowledged to me, so I can't confirm if she was training Jenna or if she was just a spectre with a passion for waxing. It was a bit hard to make out what she was saying over the incessant sniffling of the woman repeatedly touching my face with no gloves, so I'm sure I missed some of the nuance of their relationship to each other. All in all and with respect to fairness, the eyebrows look fine. If you go here, your eyebrows will probably look fine too.
