Our programs and approach are tailored to ensure each child receives the highest quality educational opportunities at this crucial stage in their growth. There are 3 parent-teacher interviews September - June to discuss your child's individual development. During COVID-19 the parent-teacher interviews are being conducted virtually over the Zoom app. Our qualified and dedicated staff focus on every aspect of who they are - preparing them not only for school but for life. All our teachers have cleared vulnerable sector checks, first aid, and CPR as well as the required schooling or experience to be an early childhood educator or early childhood assistant. We strive to create a home away from home for children to explore 'learning through play' and develop to their best potential. Little Tots' Manor has minimal closures and no screen time for children. Each class is equipped with a computer and tablet to communicate with parents and/or caregivers through the HiMama app. The preschool classes have Smart Boards installed for children to have hands-on interaction with technology that is educational. Little Tots' Manor has an in house chef who preps and cooks all meals on-site and a Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Founder, Director, Supervisor, Assitant Supervisor, and Assistant to Director are available to support the staff or answer any question the parents may have. Little Tots' Manor has a board of directors and each class has a family class representative. The family class representatives are veteran families of Little Tots' Manor. The management committee conducts annual staff reviews, staff qualifies for benefits after 3 months, and all staff participates in a professional development day hosted by Little Tots' Manor. In my time there I did experience the negative management that previous reviews have mentioned but in July 2023, new management took over and brought the most incredible positive change to the business. I felt more comfortable talking to management, more supported in my programming and teaching and just generally I was much happier at work. But first, it's common knowledge the finding a daycare spot in the GTA is akin to the Holy Grail. My kid was on the waitlist for 7 daycares in our area. SEVEN. But I was persistent and secured a spot at an EduKids facility - St Thomas' Child Care Centre. I thanked all the deities for our luck. A week before my son was to start full-time daycare, we had our transition period. It's a "get to know each other" opportunity. It was helpful for me as I got to know the facility and the teachers and caregivers. My son transitioned well. The teachers/caregivers (Donna, Sandra, and Carmen) were everything I could hope for. They were loving, attentive, caring, and communicative. My son really flourished there. The other staff were also just as wonderful. Caroline, the Director, was friendly and helpful. Nathan was a teacher for school aged kids but yet my 14 month old son bonded with him. We got daily reports of his eating, his diaper changes, his activities, and his naps. But what was really important to me is that my son was happy when I picked him up. Unfortunately we had to leave this wonderful place because the daycare across the street from our neighbourhood had a spot for my son. But we would return to St Thomas in a heartbeat if the new daycare doesn't work out. We're thankful to St Thomas' Child Care Centre and EduKids for making our first daycare experience a wonderful and loving experience. They raised the bar so high.

They truly care and go above and beyond. There seem to be a few people dragging down the centre's rating based on their own misunderstanding of the centre's deposit policies, which are very clearly spelled out and explained (and similar to other centre's policies). Don't let that fool you - this is an excellent child care centre that I fully recommend.

The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The meals and snacks are carefully planned by a nutritionists who incorporate diverse menu (fish, tofu, various ethnic menus like pad thai) that incorporates seasonal veggies and fruits. I cannot say enough about the staff though - they truly love what they do and it shows. From the day we started transitioning my little one at 12 months, all the teachers have shown nothing but love and care. They make sure each child is engaged and cared for and I am always grateful for all the work that they do with the children. The webcam access to the room is also a bonus (it came really handy during the first few weeks when it was just as much of a transition period for me as it was for my child - I may have spent a good chunk of my day watching/weeping/laughing). Another added bonus is how responsive the head-office is to suggestions. Parents are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions and they are very responsive to parents' inputs. The weekly newsletter also allows us to know what my little one has been learning so that we can reinforce some of the things at home (ex. songs or books that they have been learning). Kids and Company really is as good as it gets in terms of daycare :)

Our oldest (now in SK) moved on to full-day kindergarten and has excelled with the help of the preschool learning he received from the Kids & Co. team. The staff are always very friendly and considerate and always look forward to seeing my older son return to visit them. My youngest son is 3 years old and is currently attending the Preschool class at Kids & Co. Finch. He started off slowly with his language skills but since being at Kids & Co. he has quickly picked it up and is now able to communicate very well for his age. He is very engaged and interested in learning and this is because the staff at Kids & Company make learning fun. The site also offers a delicious and healthy meal plan that keeps the children energized throughout the day as well as regular outdoor play, as weather permits. The rooms are well-kept and there are usually two staff members in the preschool room, which helps keep things manageable and allows the preschoolers to receive special, individual attention, as needed. An added bonus is that the whole facility has recently been renovated and it really looks fantastic. The children are encouraged to play together and are taught to respect one another which in turn enables them to create lasting friendships, even at an early age. In fact, my older son still has play dates and attends birthday parties for friends he met at Kids & Company. My wife and I have been thrilled with the service and staff at Kids & Company - Finch. From the Site Lead, Stephanie, to all the staff members, they go out of their way to ensure that there is always open communication regarding our children, so that we can nurture and develop them together as a team. They are always courteous and professional when addressing any concerns or when relaying information regarding our child. The last daycare was double in price, and did not have the same kind of strong programming that Bouts d'Choux does. The preschool group charges $817 a month, to give you an idea. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family: I fully trust the way this daycare is organised. The caregivers have been chosen with the right care. It's humbling to see the way they work together as a team, to care for our kids. My kids have been through each of their 4 categories: infant (poupons), toddler (bambins), preschool (classe prescolaire), and finally the afterschool program (maternelle-jardin, ou 6-12). I work with kids for a living, and can tell that much thought, effort, and pride, goes into planning the daily activities, giving a good variety of socialisation, outdoor play, creative projects, daily stories and songs. Their hot meal plan is included. This place is worth its cost, and more. I genuinely love the francophone environment, and perhaps above all, I love the caregivers there. Their personalities, and how genuine they are with the children there. Avec tout mon coeur, je peux recommander la garderie Bouts d'Choux, pour leur programmation effective, leur passion et amour pour les enfants, et tendresses envers les enfants.
