The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The meals and snacks are carefully planned by a nutritionists who incorporate diverse menu (fish, tofu, various ethnic menus like pad thai) that incorporates seasonal veggies and fruits. I cannot say enough about the staff though - they truly love what they do and it shows. From the day we started transitioning my little one at 12 months, all the teachers have shown nothing but love and care. They make sure each child is engaged and cared for and I am always grateful for all the work that they do with the children. The webcam access to the room is also a bonus (it came really handy during the first few weeks when it was just as much of a transition period for me as it was for my child - I may have spent a good chunk of my day watching/weeping/laughing). Another added bonus is how responsive the head-office is to suggestions. Parents are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions and they are very responsive to parents' inputs. The weekly newsletter also allows us to know what my little one has been learning so that we can reinforce some of the things at home (ex. songs or books that they have been learning). Our oldest (now in SK) moved on to full-day kindergarten and has excelled with the help of the preschool learning he received from the Kids & Co. team. The staff are always very friendly and considerate and always look forward to seeing my older son return to visit them. My youngest son is 3 years old and is currently attending the Preschool class at Kids & Co. Finch. He started off slowly with his language skills but since being at Kids & Co. he has quickly picked it up and is now able to communicate very well for his age. He is very engaged and interested in learning and this is because the staff at Kids & Company make learning fun. The site also offers a delicious and healthy meal plan that keeps the children energized throughout the day as well as regular outdoor play, as weather permits. The rooms are well-kept and there are usually two staff members in the preschool room, which helps keep things manageable and allows the preschoolers to receive special, individual attention, as needed. An added bonus is that the whole facility has recently been renovated and it really looks fantastic. The children are encouraged to play together and are taught to respect one another which in turn enables them to create lasting friendships, even at an early age. In fact, my older son still has play dates and attends birthday parties for friends he met at Kids & Company. My wife and I have been thrilled with the service and staff at Kids & Company - Finch. When I was pregnant, I was on waitlists with several childcare options much closer to home. On a whim, I booked a tour at Sunrise Montessori, even though it was significantly farther away. After meeting Principal Grace Koo and touring the school, I knew immediately that a strong educational foundation during my daughter's most formative years was worth every extra minute in the car. From the very beginning, Sunrise felt different. The classrooms are spotless and filled with natural light, with large interior windows that allow you to see into each classroom. I also loved the large indoor gymnasium, which gives the children plenty of room to play and stay active during rainy days, winter weather or extreme heat. The children wear uniforms after the infant program, which makes mornings so much easier. I've been fortunate to have incredible teachers throughout every stage of my daughter's journey. Ms. Evelyn provided such a loving start in the infant room and Ms. Karima continued that same care in the toddler room. But I especially want to recognize my daughter's Casa head teacher - Ms. Sue. I truly don't have enough words to describe what an extraordinary teacher she is. My daughter entered Ms. Sue's Casa classroom early at only two and a half years old. As a first-time parent, I was nervous she might not be ready, but Ms. Sue immediately put my mind at ease. Ms. Sue is one of those rare educators who was simply meant to teach. Every morning when I arrive around 7:30 a.m., she is already in the classroom preparing materials, cleaning, organizing activities and getting everything ready before the children arrive. I'm pretty sure her official start time isn't until later in the morning, yet there she is at 7:30. Her dedication is obvious every single day. She is also incredibly responsive through the school communication app. Whether I'm asking how my daughter ate, how she napped or even requesting a photo because I miss her, Ms. Sue always responds with kindness and patience. That reassurance means more than she probably realizes. It's the little things that make such a difference. Because she knows we have a long drive home each day, she reminds my daughter to use the washroom before leaving and makes sure her water bottle is partially filled for the ride home. If I'm running late one morning, Ms. Sue is the first to message me to make sure everything is okay and ask where her "special girl" is. Those thoughtful gestures speak volumes about how genuinely she cares. The growth I've seen in my daughter over the past year and a half has been remarkable. As she prepares to enter kindergarten, she can spell her first, middle and last name, complete simple addition, count to 100 and has developed wonderful manners, confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning. She has completed beautiful workbooks filled with writing and numbers and has made me the most beautiful cards that I will treasure forever. I have no doubt she's more than ready for kindergarten thanks to the incredible foundation she's received from Ms. Sue. One unique aspect of Sunrise is the integration of Mandarin instruction and Lunar New Year celebrations. My daughter can name all the body parts in Mandarin and has learned to appreciate another language and culture in such a natural, inclusive way. The activity fee is also put to excellent use. Throughout the year, the children enjoy wonderful experiences including visiting magicians, lion dance performances, fun fairs and age-appropriate field trips. As my daughter got older, I was able to join class trips to places like the aquarium, a farm and an indoor playground. Watching Ms. Sue manage these outings only reinforced my confidence in how much she prioritizes every child's safety, happiness and well-being. I would also like to recognize Ms. Sumaya and Ms. Marcia, who work alongside Ms. Sue in Casa 3 every day. They are kind, patient, warm and clearly adored by the children. Together, the three of them create an environment where every child feels safe, respected and genuinely loved. I am sincerely grateful for the care, kindness and dedication they have shown my daughter. They will be missed. Knowing my daughter was loved, safe, encouraged and genuinely cared for allowed me to focus on work each day without worrying. That peace of mind is something I'll never be able to fully repay. As this chapter at Sunrise ending fast approaches, I find myself filled with sadness and gratitude simultaneously. I honestly don't know how I'm going to say goodbye. In true Ms. Sue fashion, she reminds me that my daughter is ready for kindergarten - and that I'll be okay too. Ms. Sue is so much more than a teacher. Sunrise Montessori is incredibly fortunate to have an educator like her.

Without dishonouring other schools, I have to say that Radiant Way Montessori stands out in many areas. First of all, the teachers here are so passionate, caring and loving! Particularly, Ms. Anahita, the principal, is the kind of person who speaks from her heart, who truly cares about children. I honestly fell in "trust" with this school at the first sight because of her passion, sincerity and knowledge. Secondly, this school offers a true Montessori program. Ms. Anahita is an instructor who trains new Montessori teachers. Both of her daughters are teachers. The classroom is well equipped with authentic Montessori learning tools. During observation, I was amazed to see how engaged all children were at their chosen activities. My son has grown so much socially and academically in this school. I feel really good about sending my son to such an outstanding program! Last but not least, Radiant Way Montessori is always clean and well organized whenever I go. No wonder they have spot and not full.I know a mom who send her 2 kids there now and told me before that her kids didn't learn much compared to Marander Montessi School which she heard from friends teaches the kids way more. This place is not a real Montessor school but run more like a like daycare and still charge the premium Montesorri school rate $$ = $300 more per month than a regular daycare if you include early pick up and late drop off (7:30am to 6pm). She also pushes for you to have grand parents or someone else pick up your kids by 3:30pm and not later (odd). This place also does not seem that organized either when we ask if there is a daily progress report or schedule. Even other daycares provide daily progress report to tell you how your child is doing, what activities did he/she do or learned. Therefore, some Montessori School like this one is not worth the $$$. Might as well send to a regular to daycare and save the extra costs! lol

Genny and Jada, the leaders of the centre, are superbly organized, communicate well and have a love, care and patience with the children that I can only hope to emulate as a parent. The staff are wonderful as well. They are well-trained and experienced, watchful and caring. Our child was in Doreen and Stephanie's class, and we could see her positive social and language development grow in leaps and bounds. They also potty trained our toddler and gave us daily updates on their activities. The ELC has a structured program for the children with age-appropriate activities, and meals/snacks are provided. But most of all, they developed in my child the habit of praying for each other and getting to know God. I am so thrilled that we found their early learning centre; it takes a village to raise a child and I'm so glad ELC was a part of it! (Side Note: If you are interested in enrolling your child at the People's Christian Academy for grade school, the children attending their ELC have preliminary access to register for the spots available before it is opened to the public.)
