Wow! Just can't say enough good things about this business! I can't imagine any better place to have your window tinting or car detailing done. I first called to ask a few questions and the young man who took the call was courteous, cheerful and helpful. I had a lot of questions so it was suggested to come in and talk with the owner, Gabe Vargas. Gabe sat down with me and spent at least 20 - 30 minutes and answered ALL my questions about the different kinds and qualities of tint, California law, warranties and prices. He showed me examples of different cars on the property with different tints so that I could get a better idea of what the different tints look like. Although he was very busy, he managed to have me come in very early the next morning so he could squeeze my car into his schedule. I prepaid for the job and he gave me a ride to work. Around 2:00 pm he DELIVERED my car to work! I didn't even have to go get it! I had a chance to go out and look at the car before he left. He showed me all the work that was done and did not leave until he knew I was satisfied with the job. He even cleaned the car for me! I have to say that I have never had such a wonderful auto service experience in my entire life! These guys rock! I give them my highest recommendation and thanks for a job well done! read more

I made an appointment over the phone with Edgar. He was amazing at explaining everything to me, even answered questions before I had the chance to ask them. He called twice during the week to remind me of my appointment and to inform me where to park when I got there. Gabriel, the owner personally greeted me when I got there. He provided me with the Wi-Fi password so I could do homework while they worked on my car. He was amazing to work with, extremely professional and courteous. My car looked amazing at the end, I desperately need to wash and I was able to upgrade my tint to include a wash. My car has never looked so good! I will definitely be going back for their detailing services! read more

You couldn't ask for nicer people. Anything having to do with cars is automatically daunting for me and they made is so easy and with the nicest attitude. Gabriel was awesome and I am very pleased with the quality of work. I will definitely be returning! read more

Got my car detailed, great service. Would recommend they did an awesome job and are very friendly too.

The best by far, I made an appointment to tint my car windows and was scheduled within an adequate time frame in that week. I was there early morning and Gabe showed up right on time. He first greets me before opening his shop. Right of the start he gave me a warm welcome and informed me what they are all about. His professional work is his word and this guy knows about customer satisfaction. He gave a relatively good price for the quality of service I received on whip of joy. I will be bringing more cars. Finally found a true quality and loyal shop. Thanks Gabe and Edgar. read more

Took our truck in for a Hub problem on the passenger side. Upon inspection, my husband was concern other parts might need replacement also. They were very honest and straight to the point. ONLY HUBS needed replacement, nothing else. They are really looking out for their customers and ain't trying to rip people off for the work. Grease Monkey communicated with us throughout the process and kept us posted on any changes or concerns. Upon arrival, the truck was cleaned and waxed!! Definitely will be returning for any work on our vehicles. Very organized and humbled people, who value their work. read more

Love Grease Monkeys!!! Can't say enough about this Company Excellent customer service! Go beyond for their customers! Had a sun roof issue on my Infiniti and they fixed it right up!! I would highly recommend them!! Five Stars!!! read more

Can't believe I just found out about this place! Awesome! Besides doing everything from amazing glass tinting to detailing to body repair (and probably more), they do it with remarkable excellence! The day I was there, without me asking, they gave me a loaner car (so very helpful)! They perfectly fixed a couple of small door dings/dents, they for free fixed my front bumper that had an edge come off its bracket. And did the most amazing tint job I have seen! I was so undecided on level of tint, they are amazingly patient. In the end it came out beyond perfect. They made the right call on their own to slightly darken the front further. I just couldn't be happier!!! This is the place!!! read more

Wow! Awesome and yet professional customer service. I can honestly say that they did an awesome job. I could not be any happier with how my car looks with the windows tinted and gave my car back looking like it was fresh out of the dealer! He also provided my boyfriend and I with some s.w.a.g. I will be saving up money to continue customizing my 2015 VW Golf here read more

We can't recommend Grease Monkey's enough! The owner, Gabe has taken such great care of us! We had all three of our cars window's tinted and my 2016 Tahoe leveled and detailed. They all look SO good. We love supporting small local businesses! Thank you guys for all of your hard work! We will be back! read more

High quality service and an excellent customer experience during every visit. Won't go wrong with choosing them on your next vehicle need.

I made an appointment with Gabe to get my windows tinted, he told me to come in on a Saturday first thing in the morning at 7:30. Edgar and Gabe were there to greet me and to talk to me about the prices. He gave me some information regarding his company. He said my car will be in good hands and I can come pick it up in a couple of hours. Came back to pick up my car around 3 and the tint on my car was perfect ! its been a week since I got the tint on my car and I haven't found any reason not to go back. If you want a good tint and to be done the right way I highly encourage everyone to talk to Gabe. 2007 Pontiac G6 Hard top convertable read more

Couldn't be happier with the best detailing shop in Salinas and tint shop in all Monterey county. Always bring my car here for a wash and giving it a new car look. Prices are great but what makes me come back every time besides great work is the staff and specially the owner. Will never take my car to another place. read more

Highly recommended shop to go to as all the 5-star review speaks for itself. I've been doing business with the shop owner Gabe for a couple of years now as I go to him for any of my vehicle needs. Him and his friendly staff really make you feel like family everytime you visit. Hands down having the best tint to offer in Salinas, I made sure to get both of my cars done here. I have also had my stereo system installed by them as well. The new bass on my car just blew me away! I have also went in for multiple hand-washed details of my cars, as they insure you they will not miss a drop of water on the outside of your car or even a piece of crumb in the interior of your vehicle. Whenever I hear someone suggesting they want their windows tinted I make sure I send them to Grease Monkey Customs! read more

Gabe and his team did a excellent job removing a bad tint job on my mother in laws 300 and putting on an excellent one. Great price, quick and a quality job. I also got a detail done here and I couldn't be happier. I have two little ones who eat in the car often because of our commute and they made my vehicle sparkle like new in and out for a very reasonable price. I also got my enginge cleaned. Friendly staff, quality work and fair prices. read more

Grease monkeys is awesome! They hooked my BMW 335i up when I went to go get it tinted. Even gave it a complimentary detail. They provide excellent service and I would recommend to them to anyone looking for a good quality tint job for their car. They also do a lot more than just tinting. Ask for Gabriel, he's a really chill dude! read more

Amazing amazing amazing. The guys that work there are wonderful. Had a dog bathroom incident all over my back seat. Guys got in me the next day (they were willing to stay open late for me to get there the same day but I had to get home and clean the dog). They had to break out the hazmat because it was poo. They had no issues making the car look like a million bucks!!! And even detailed the whole car inside and out for me. Sending everyone i know to them!!!! They saved my car!! read more

By far the most professional and expert car detailing job I have experienced in the county!! My Mustang looks like the first time I took it off the showroom floor. Gabe the owner and his staff demonstrate an immense sense of passion for their field. Which is evident in their superb workmanship. The best place and most honest shop! These guys are easy to work with, they helped me decide what tint shade looked better on my car. Will definitely come back again. If you want quality and the best price, Grease Monkey is the place to go. Great work, pleased with the outcome. read more

I brought my car here for some work before driving to Texas and Right off the bat customer service was amazing! I got a full detail job and was very please with my results! My car was also serviced, oil changed, transmission check, brakes and tires were inspected and recommendations and repairs prices were reasonable. I'm feeling happy and confident to travel and I may be going back for a window tinting. read more

I was impressed at first since they offered to open the shop early for me to cater to my schedule. On the day of the appointment, nobody showed. I called and left a message asking them to call me back in regards to my appointment (that I never canceled). I went back at regular office hours and the office was still closed. Luckily, Jose from The Tint Shop (right next door) was sweeping outside so I asked him if he had time. He took the vehicle in right away and did an excellent job, faster than what grease monkeys promised, and cheaper. I probably would have rated them higher if they would have just followed through. read more

Did my windows sub par work sliced up molding - had to have the back window done again - go anywhere not here

Initially went in for a simple tint job, ended up getting my two broken windows fixed and they can now roll up and down! The customer service was fantastic and I felt my Ford Focus was in good hands. The process was explained to me well and I felt I had a good handle on what would be happening to my car and wasn't being taken advantage of. The array of what these guys can do at their shop is amazing and I felt their pricing was fair. The tint and fixing of the window motors took all day (totaling 9.5 hours), however, they were able to do it all and order the parts and have them arrive all in a day and have my car keys soon back in my hand. I would recommend they take a second look inside the cars before returning them to the customer, due to me finding grease all over my seats (front and back), but I was able to clean them off when I got home with some upholstery cleaner and a damp rag. Other than that, I had an overall great experience and give Grease Monkey's a 4-star rating. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. read more

Great work Team Grease Monkeys! I brought my car in for tint removal, front lights buffing because they were yellow and car detailing (Including engine clean up). My car now looks like I just got it out of a car dealership! Gabe the owner, has fantastic customer service. He was very detailed with the work that needed to get done on my car. The team also was very detailed in cleaning my car. They even dropped me off at work and offered to pick me up once my car was done. They also have mobile car washing. I purchased a 2002 Ford Excursion and it was in dire need of a detail job more than what I could do. After doing some research I came across Grease Monkeys and saw that it has 5 stars!! For a very good reason. I spoke with the owner Gabe and he was very pleasant and made me feel right at home. The car was pretty yuk and he told me it would take 3 days to clean, but boy was it worth the wait!! I almost didn't recognize it, it looked brand new! The staff are great and the waiting room is welcoming. I later returned and had him tint my windows..I can't say enough good things..you will not be disappointed!!
