I get my car oil serviced here plenty of times. Went three different times to get my oil topped off. First two times they stated its to early in my oil change to get some even though i knew it was low due to oil light and oil level on dip stick. I went today to get topped off and they state they cant put any oil in even though once again i was low. Its funny because i NEVER have this problem with grease monkey in glenwood springs colorado. They always topped me off no problems! Dont go to this grease monkey in rifle the employees have no sense in customer service and only seem to want to do the bare minimum. Go to walmart down the road at least they wont make excuses instead if what the customer wishes. Thumbs down!! read more

I own a Honda Civic and a Subaru outback ones are four cylinder the other is a 6 cylinder these clowns put the same oil filter on both vehicles Plus my Subaru takes six and a half quarts of oil they only put five in and my oil plug was put on loose then had the balls to tell me that I'm leaking oil I wonder why. Have come here twice now to get an oil change. The first time my oil change was done it didn't even get the correct amount of oil put in. I went to my original dealer ship the next day to have some other maintenance done (grease monkey didn't offer this service) and I was told that my oil level was low, meaning they didn't even get the job done correctly and still charged me over $100. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back when my car needed another oil change. This time around I was not called that my car's oil change had been finished. I waited over 2 hours I called to check on its status and no answer was made. Not only have I gotten horrible service twice, this last time I went they stole a personal valuable that was not there's to take, and when confronted about it they completely denied it. I am very thankful that I had removed my cash from the cup holder because at this point I am sure they would have taken that too. I DO NOT recommend going to this place. read more

Absolutely the worst served I have ever had getting a simple oil change. They didn't top my fluids when I asked, they claimed that my coolant was dyed blue and they couldn't match it..they also didn't let me see/show me my oil level and claimed it was full upon arrival, when in fact I know it wasn't, bc I had to add 1 quart from empty upon arrival. They told me to get out of my vehicle so they could pull my car in, when I asked repeatedly if I could do it bc I had my dogs in the car (I'm not from Rifle), only to let me back in after he pulls in! The whole time the "pit" crew was goofing off, throwing things, standing around laughing, while they had a line down and around the whole building..when I asked to see my oil level, he (Christian) said it was at the tippy top..and refused to physically show me..and they messed with my headlights, bc they were just serviced at the dealership 2 days prior and now they won't work unless on "Brights". Simply ridiculous..I pray that I NEVER again in my life have to be in another situation where I need services and this company be the ONLY location in any miles or hours drive..absolute atrocious!!!! read more

I hate that my only choice is to give them one star I would like to give no stars. They over tightened the cap when they changed my oil which snapped the seal which led to my engine blowing up and the death of my very beloved mini Cooper. To fix my car would require putting in a new engine and a new turbo the cost of which with labor is about $5000-6000. Do not go here!These people are hacks! read more

In the past I've had good service here. Recently my wife took her vehicle here to get her oil changed and tires rotated. They charged her $29.99 for the tire rotation, but it was not done. When I noticed I thought it was no big deal... maybe they just missed it on the work order. I figured if I politely went in and explained the situation we could come up with a simple solution. Nope. "I rotated those myself" is what I'm told. No, you didn't. Was convenient at the time. Had oil/filter changed and tires rotated. Now that it's time agin I found 3 stripped lug nuts. The oil plug and filter was completely over tightened. Don't go here Owner contacted me. He invited me to another business he owned. The shop scheduled me and did a nice job in repairing the previously mentioned problems. So pleasantly surprised that the service was fast/great and the staff was very friendly! They vacuumed and put my umbrella centered on my passenger seat (I had just dumped it on the floor). had the oil changed here they left the oil filter gasket on the block and put a new filter on with the gasket so that was two gaskets on the filter and caused my car to run out of oil called the manager three-times final come by and looked at and said yup you have two gaskets on the filter. will have the owner get ahold of you and that never happen called the owner left a butt load of messages with no callback. these guys changing the oil think they are in a NAC car race to who can change the oil in 23 sec this was 2013 ford and it's no good any more thanks GM. Traveling through Colorado and needed the oil changed. Stopped in at Grease Monkey in Rifle because it was across from my hotel. I was pleasantly surprised it is very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly and professional, being from the east coast I'm not used to this. Oil was changed quickly and tires rotated, I was happy to see the techs using a torque wrench to set proper torque on the lug nuts. I wish I had a oil change place like this near me in Pa. read more

Went to Grease Monkey twice and did not get service I was told I would get. First time I took car in for oil change and have the check engine light on. Asked them to check that and was told it needed a battery and then tried to sell me one. Turned out it was another part on the vehicle when I took it to another shop to get it looked at after Grease Monkey turned off the light and came back on right after I left the shop. The second time was today when my wife took car in to get transmission fluid flushed and filled. She was told that they topped off all the fluids. Just off a hunch i went to look and low and behold none of the fluids were topped off. Was going to call corporate and tell them about this and get a customer service call center that will refer you back to the store. WOW if I was the owner/investors I would like to know what is going on vs having the store know about it and not the corporation. Will never return to this store for they lost trust with me. read more
