Two months old, under 5,000 miles. Left the shop and the low oil pressure light came on almost immediately, so our driver pulled over and parked it. Called the store. The manager, Michael, sent an employee out to check it. That employee found the oil filter had not been fully seated and the engine had no oil left in it. He put six quarts in on the spot. We had it towed to an independent shop. They found multiple engine codes and metal shavings in the filter and throughout the oil. I have the photos. The engine was gone. Two month old vehicle, full engine replacement. Then it got worse. Michael and his district manager refused to open a claim. Our regional manager stayed in contact with him for a week, sent him the inspection report he asked for, and set up a time for him to come look at the vehicle. He never showed. Later he told an insurance rep he had not heard about any of it until a week after the fact, which is not true. He was the first person we called the day it happened and he is the one who sent his own employee out to confirm the problem. Corporate told us the store is independently owned and sent us back to the franchise owner, who ignored us completely. The van was down for 92 days. It is wheelchair accessible and we use it to transport elderly and disabled patients. Any shop can mess up an oil change. Owning it is the part that matters, and nobody here was willing to.

Based on what we can see, it appears that the technician who performed the oil change on Saturday at Loganville Ford failed to properly secure the shroud after completing the service. This is completely unacceptable. That shroud is there for a reason, and if it came loose while she was driving, it could have created a dangerous situation or potentially caused an accident. My wife was extremely upset, and understandably so. Now she is nearly 400 miles away from me and has to figure out whether the shroud can even be properly reattached or if it has been damaged and needs to be replaced. I have already sent a message requesting that someone from Quick Lube contact me, and I am still waiting for a response. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and professionally. We called at 11am to see if it was still fine. They hadn't looked at it yet and said they would look at it now. No return call again. We called at 1pm and they said we needed an NEW ENGINE! No, not engine but a new "motor". We asked for an explanation. These are the reasons they provided. 1. They said we had no oil in the car. - My husband has been changing the oil in the car for the last 6 years. My daughter checked the oil last week. There was oil in the car. The car has NEVER not had oil. 2. There was a valve cover leak. - News to us. This was not an issue before we came here. We have never had visible oil around the oil cover. 3. A cylinder is misfiring. - This is a sign that a spark plug or the coil needs to be replaced. I don't know if they thought we didn't know anything about cars because we are women but they are definitely wrong. We immediately went up there to pick up the car. The car was still in the garage with the hood up. There was a large blue oil drain in front of our car that was supposed to bone dry. We drove away and there was a cloud of white smoke. What the heck! We came there was an electrical issue. The car has NEVER had this issue. We pulled over and drove in my car to the auto part store to pick up a quart of oil. No issues after to put oil in the car. I ran a diagnostic on the car because we have a micro mechanic diagnostic reader. NOW the car reads that there cylinder 1 is misfiring. Luckily we know how to change spark plugs and coils. After we fix the damage they did to the car, we're taking it to Hyundai to finally get the electrical looked at. A wait of money and two days of time. We are out $80 for their mandatory diagnostic fee, Vo didn't have this, the price of an emergency quart of oil and the spark plug or oil after we perform the test to see which one is having the issue. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT GO HERE!

The new guys, maybe 2 stars. I believe they have much to learn about customer service. They just don't have the passion for it that he had.

I've taken my Toyota Tundra here several times to get work done and they always resolved the issue in a very short amount of time. Their quotes and their prices are within reason. Just the other day, my wife had a problem with a window on her Nissan. I was away at work and she decided to take her car to the Premier Nissan Mall of Georgia Dealership on Buford Drive. She informed them that she had an engine light on and all the widows periodically would not roll up or down all the way. They charged my wife a diagnostic fee of 185.00 for each identified issue, with other fees and tax that came to $381.00 (includes a charge for credit card usage for payment). As part of their assessment, they determined that only 1 window motor needed to be replaced and the O2 Sensor needed replacing. In addition, they provided quotes for replacing the tires and wheel alignment. The total repair for the two issues we brought the car in for came to approximately $1,450. If my wife would have agreed to the other suggested quotes for tires and the alignment, the total would be $2,234.02!!! That's ridiculous!!!! $862.26 for replacing one motor, when all the windows in her 4-door car was having problems. Thank goodness I was able to go with her to discuss their assessment. I advise my wife we need to take her car to this Japanese Auto Repair, which I've used many times before. After dropping the car off, Japanese Auto Repair informed us that they just simply reset the window control mechanism, which resolved all the problems with the windows not going up and down correctly. This was done at no charge ($0) to us. Next, they required the part (O2 Sensor) which they would have on hand the next day. Next day, as promised, they called and informed me that my wife's car was repaired and ready for pickup. I am very pleased with the service we get from this location and will send my wife, our kids and all our friends there for all future service activities on her car. If you want quality auto service performing your Japanese vehicle, then I recommend using Japanese Auto Repair!!! Just to conclude this review, I want to share what it cost to actually resolve the problems with my wife's car. The total repair cost from Japanese Auto Repair was $301, which was less than what my wife had to pay the Dealer's incorrect diagnostic fee ($380).

I was quoted $250 for a thermostat replacement and A/C diagnosis, but the final bill came to $550 without my approval of the additional charges. I specifically explained that my A/C had a major leak. Instead of repairing the leak, they added dye and recharged the system, a temporary measure, not a repair, and the A/C issue remained unresolved. I was also charged for 3 gallons of coolant during the thermostat replacement, which raised concerns for me since a thermostat replacement typically involves draining and refilling the system rather than adding a large amount of coolant. The invoice also showed 3 lbs. of refrigerant, while my vehicle's listed A/C capacity is approximately 1.3 lbs. I was verbally told there would be a 1-year warranty, but the written warranty provided afterward stated 90 days. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about the pricing, communication, and repair process. I have filed a consumer protection complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Office. Warning: Get Everything in Writing Before Using This Shop!
