We were in town visiting and my husband needed contacts quickly. We were praying someone had samples while we ordered more for delivery. The super helpful lady at walmart eye care recommended we graystone. He arrived at the clinic after 3pm on a Friday and they quickly got him, gave him samples, some eye drops & got him all set up. Would not recommend. My daughter's appointment was book months in advance. They ask you to arrive 10 min early. Her appointment was at 8:50. As we did as told it Took them 45 min to get us back with the clinical team spent 20 min with her then waited another 30 min see the doctor and another 30 before we could get fitted for glasses and take that for 20 min to do . They say to plan for 90 min which I did. I have never been to a place where it takes almost 2 and a half hours for an eye appointment read more

Just called to make my first appt as we move to the Denver North Carolina area. The person I spoke with could not have been nicer and was able to get me in on The 13th of September for a check up (my current doctor could not see me till mid February!) I've had very aggressive cataracts forming for two years. I had no idea that there was an ophthalmologist within 2 miles of my home Like so many people I felt the best care would be found in Charlotte,WRONG! So I go to my primary care physician to hook me up with Graystone Eye in Lincolnton and I was amazed at how friendly and courteous the entire staff was. I saw Dr. Wise who explained everything to me and answered every question I had about my situation. I have cataract surgery scheduled for early February at the Hickrey office and if everything there goes half as good as my appointment in Lincolnton went I'll be very very pleased ! Graystone Eye, lincolnton definitely gets a five star from me! This surgery in Hickory is still to be determined but I have the utmost confidence in the entire staff!!! read more

Everyone at Graystone Eye in Lincolnton is very kind, helpful, and patient. I especially want to thank Dr Ryan Wise for being the greatest ever! Today I had the fortunate opportunity to be helped by Kristen. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to make a person feel comfortable and important! The Greystone Eye surgery center in Hickory is a wonderful place to have cataract surgery. Again the staff there made me feel "at home" and everything is explained very clearly and carefully. I was a first time patient at the Lincolnton office on Oct. 21 2019. It was a very unpleasant experience. The wait was over an hour; they need to do less cluster booking. After seeing the Doctor, very rushed, he was walking out the door as he asked if I had any questions. So if I had questions, I could not ask them. As I went to check out, my husband and I were standing over to the side, getting our bearings, about 6 feet from the person checking out in front of us and was rudely reprimanded for not standing behind the pole in front of the entrance because of HIPPA. This was my first visit, I didn't know about the pole. If HIPPA is so important to them, why then was I left in the examine room with the door open, being stared at by people in the waiting room, while the nurse went to check something? When she came back, she finished with me....with the door still open! I will never return to this place. read more
