They didn't deliver the radio and did not respond to attempts to contact them through two email addresses and phone calls. FRAUD!!!! THIEVES!!!!!! I ordered 2 Radiomaster TX15 MAX radios on July 31, 2025. This was a pre order and was expected to arrive within a month. I have tried several times to call, email, and go through their entire contact process for support, and I have not received ANY communication. Not a phone call, not a response to an email, NOTHING. These radios are now available in multiple places/hobby shops, but because I pre ordered mine with Grayson Hobby, I gave it a little bit of time. We are now in November, and still nothing. As others have had to do with this shop, I contacted my credit card company and reported a fraudulent charge, and will be taking my business elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars I would. Crooks, Pre ordered a Radiomaster TX15 July 30 (Paid in Full) and after 2 people at local club had TX15 radios and bought way after I pre ordered. I started trying (Middle October or so) to contact Grayson for a update. 14 business days and 52 points of contact between phone, email and messenger and not a single response. I've spent the last 2 1/2 months trying to setup and bind my Radiomaster TX16S transmitter to a few Radiomaster receivers (The ELRS version). I tried everything, watched all the videos, bought new hardware after I bricked two receivers and one ELRS module. finally I called Will at Grayson and in 10 minutes he solved my problem. It seems that RM receivers only like to use the 1.87M baud rate. I changed that setting and that did it. I now have two working receivers. Thanks Will. Bob in Colorado read more

I needed a part for an Arrma RC truck. The local hobby shop I normally go to for parts was out of stock and I really didn't want to drive to Kennesaw for it. Looked up dealers on the Horizon website and found this hobby shop that I had never heard of was listed as a dealer for Arrma products. They had numerous Arrma vehicles listed as in stock on their website but when I attempted to check inventory for the part I needed there was not a page for replacement parts and the part number was not working in the search box. I attempted to call but got a recording that they were unable to answer due to "high call volume" and was directed to the website to email them. I was not interested in filling out a contact form and getting added to an email list just for a yes or no on if a part was in stock that could be resolved with a 30-second phone call. Tried again the following day a couple of times, but they still had "high call volume" so I drove to Grayson Hobby, which is in the city of Loganville. When I arrived there was just 1 guy working, no other customers, and phones were not ringing off the hook. I told him I was there for some Arrma parts and he quickly informed me they do not carry the parts for Arrma vehicles due to the low-profit margin. He went on to say they primarily sell planes and drones. Before leaving I took a look around, they had about 10 Arrma vehicles out for sale and a few crawlers. All hobby-grade RC vehicles eventually break something, just part of owning them. Obviously, this place is only interested in making a few bucks selling the cars and not offering any service after the sale on them. read more

Read the reviews before entering the store thinking this place was really going to suck. Turns out these are the nicest people, knowledgeable and very fair with pricing. I am ignorant to quad racing and making attempts at learning so the drive out was worth it as I'm from North Georgia. I had a receiver put on and learned some tips along the way. In December 2020 I bought a radio control airplane from Grayson. Their web page described as a Dynam ME-109 Version 2, which included an upgraded ESC and added flaps. I received a plane that had neither. I opened a support ticket on 12/18. Their response was that they would check with the manufacturer as to the discrepancy. As of May 2021, despite my monthly emails requesting any update, and opening a second ticket since the first seemed to be lost, I have received no reply. Based on my experience, I recommend you do not buy from them if you can't go to their store in person with any issues. I would term online customer support as unsatisfactory, but there has been none! Even an acknowledgement that they cannot remedy the issue would have been an improvement. read more

My item qualified for FREE Shipping! however the shipping charges showed up on my credit card receipt. I thought it was a mistake, I contacted them the next day. They would not remove the shipping charges; even after they admitted my item did qualify for Free Shipping. The website order form auto selected the shipping method. They advertised free shipping so why would I care what method my order was shipped. Their TRICK is the form, auto selected an up graded shipping method. You must reselect to economy shipping; which still does not say free shipping, all of the option show a fee attached, so I left it auto selected. No-where is that procedure posted or explained. BEWARE! That's how they cheated me out of Free Shipping. They chose to lose me as a happy, paying customer over $8 I FEEL CHEATED! - Ripped OFF! - NEVER shop at Grayson Hobbies! All I can say is, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this place. Well, I take that back...if you want a completely frustrating experience, then you've come to the right place. I'll explain my first and ONLY buying experience from Grayson Hobby. First, I was looking for a plane that I knew was discontinued. I went on several sites but no one had it available. I was beginning to lose hope and then found Grayson Hobby. Well, I ordered it, and it looked like everything went through properly but then a day later I got an email that said, they were out of stock. Oh well I thought...wasn't meant to be. The following day, I received another email that said, hey, we just shipped your plane, here's your tracking number. I thought, great, I get my plane! I saw that they charged my credit card which was great because I figured it meant I was going to get my plane! Well 2 weeks passed and the tracking number for USPS still had no update. I then sent an email to Grayson Hobby to ask if they had indeed sent out the plane. No response #1. A few days go by and I called them up and left a message. (side bar: they should consider rerecording the outgoing voice message...very clumsy and not very professional...anyway I digress) No response #2. A couple of days passed and then I emailed again. No response # 3 Three strikes and they're out... Well I called my credit card company and told them the whole story, they put the dispute in and now it's going through its paces. Ordered a new Dynam sbach 342 Rc plane back in Feb 2020. Plane arrived and had a stripped servo. Alerted GraysonHobby of the problem I was told that they were out of stock on that servo and that Dynam would send a replacement out. To this day I have not received any replacement servo (over a month ago) Or any response from GraysonHobby to address this problem Take your business somewhere else where they take care of their customers read more

From the little interaction I've had with the folks who run the place i like it. Cons: weird fucking hours. Like... this is a hobby... which means you should probably have hours that run into people's hobby times. Like, after 5 on Monday would be sweet. And their web page is..... "meh" at best. Pros: these guys treat you good. Went in, never having bought anything or even knowing they existed, looking for 3" props. They gave me 2 sets of 3x3x4 out of his personal stash for $5. I drove 30 min out just to go to this shop with crappy hours just to leave in less than 3 minutes. I didn't even have a chance to get my problem out of my mouth completely and show them what I DID know about the radio link on my quadcopter before these two jackasses just came down on me about how much per hour and how it's not even their product. The "bearded" fool said he knew nothing about radio link. I thought perhaps they could just give me a better understanding of why I had trouble binding a few channels if I could get a word in edgewise. I would have even been just fine had their costumer service been more professional instead of trying to belittle you for not buying their extremely over priced entry level crap. I'm a beginner and I still wouldn't buy Eachine garbage anyways. Coming from working a Doorman position at a 5 star hotel, to restaurant and now in dentistry, after many years of working, I can say that customer service is very important. Zero customer service and apparently isn't uncommon based on other reviews. If you're a local in GA perhaps it's a better experience than ordering out of state. They don't reply to "tickets" , emails, or phone calls. I'm the only Csr at my company for the entire united states that deals with 50x the volume and I get back to every inquiry within 24-48 business hours. Won't be ordering from here again. Just out at Grayson hobby today. I bought a Dynam plane as they are the only dealer in the area. I can't remember the guys name; maybe the owner, but he was very helpful. He gave me several tips on planes and we even unboxed my Dynam Skyhawk and he gave me some assembly tips. He gave me good tips on matching the correct prop for my scratch built planes too. He had a ton of planes and parts in stock and some good prices on batteries. Some of the reviews look like they are from the mail order business. I don't think they have very many employees certainly less than 5 so maybe. If you go in the store they will help you get whatever you need. As I left he was helping a guy with FPV gear. read more

Perfect! Couldn't ask for anything more. The guy that's there on Saturdays is super knowledgeable about all his products. I bought an eachine falcon 250 from him out of my impulsiveness and I was not disappointed. I was told that it was durable and very good for beginners. I've crashed it on the concrete, my house, my neighbors house [please don't tell them], my neighbors fence, our building at work, and trees! I've yet to replace anythung except for some props and the camera that keeps getting smashed. The shop and the people and I 10 out of 10 dentist recommend that you visit grayson hobby for any of your rc needs! read more

Buy anywhere else. They sent me a quad with a bad esc board, then they treated me like I'm dumb, then they asked me how I'm going to fix it. They offered no help and just kept asking for a trouble ticket number which I provided them many times. They don't stand by their faulty products and the quad never and will never leave the ground. Shop else where. Several attempts to get a refund failed. If you try to call them, the phone is never answered. You would be better off dealing with an outfit that cares about service....I've had great experiences with horizon hobby and red rocket hobbies. They carry Dynam products (very few stores in the US do), so I ordered a retract from them. My low rating comes from the fact that they don't respond when you contact them. I have sent 2 emails and opened a "ticket", and have gotten zero response. When reading some other reviews, I discovered this is typical. They don't return phone calls, emails, "ticket" inquiries, etc. So if you need to be in contact with them about ANYTHING, forget it. But if you can get by without that then I guess they might be ok. But this is no way to run a business that's for sure. What if you have a problem and need a response from them? I guess you're out of luck, but you can always do a chargeback on your credit card. read more

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! I placed an order December 11th, order promised delivery by December 19th. Needless to say it is January 7th and I never got the item. I left message after message on a phone they never answer, sent many email which also were not answered, I finally made contact through their FB page only to get the run around, when I told them I was calling my credit card company to dispute the charge as fraud since they wouldn't update my order status and I never received the order I got an email my order was canceled with no further explanation. At least they did cancel my order, we will see if my credit card is actually refunded. I have no idea how this company stays in business...... read more
