I had the lamb which was cooked to pink perfection and I never would have thought to pair this with roasted capers, chickpea fritters and berry based sauce, the combination was somewhat 'asian' in it's complexity of salty, sweet and nutty and was amazing. I was slightly underwhelmed by the portion size and would've liked some more veg on the my plate though I appreciate the quality and portion of lamb I received.
Also a matter of disappointment considering it's next door to an great selection, is the lack of attention to decent beer. I'm not expecting an expansive selection in a restaurant but the simple face that all their taps are stocking a choice of 4 blandish lagers, none of which are even local, I found mildly disappointing. read more
