And, unlike those big box stores, they have staff and help that are friendly and helpful! We purchased a hardware item for the same price as it is offered on Amazon, so the pricing is quite reasonable. Nice selection of furniture items as well. So far I've been able to avoid almost all trips to the big box stores thanks to Grayco. And that, in and of itself, makes them a godsend.

I'm leaving this horrible review because you people have no reason to sit here and treat anybody the way I was just treated today I feel sorry for anyone that shops in your store. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I don't appreciate the disrespect nice to know you people don't care about the customer and you'd rather make fun of them for trying to put themselves out there. This is a war warning if they treat me like this they're gonna treat you like this. I don't appreciate the nonsense.

BUT- yeah, you knew there was a but... I have to say that the people(family?) that work here are incredible!! Helpful, go out of their way to make sure you find what you need (without being obnoxious), offer suggestions, laugh and smile. These are real people doing good work in a meaningful way. Not sure how you feel about that but to me, I'd rather reward people like that and not some corporate giant. Plus, Ace is 4 minutes away and easy to get to with parking at the door. Lowe's and Home Depot are 20+ minutes away- easy choice. Five stars!!

After visiting Portsmouth, NH last year, we fell in love with a gorgeous exterior color but had no idea how to find it. A kind local paint store owner there actually drove over to the home, analyzed the color, and sent us the custom formula. We were absolutely flabbergasted! Drew took it from there and perfectly mixed the color for us. Not only did he nail it, but he also gave us a discount, which made the whole experience even better. If you have a color you love or need matched, go see Drew--he can make it happen!

Later in the day, my husband decided he wanted one other color and we called Brandon and he made it up for us while my husband drove over there. Tip: Sherwin Williams has the best selection of "Historic Charleston" colors, but you have to ask for the chip selection because they don't keep them out in the main display.
