Friday October 8, 2021 My wife and I were just blown away by the knowledge and passion our tour guide Ricky! His passion and drive never stop and at the age of 62 looks we're definitely deceiving this man can walk and communicate with every passenger. It was like he treated each one of us as family. Thank you so much Ricky James and Lisa (Oklahoma)

American tour review: Wow!!! What a great experience with Darin! He made sure everyone could hear him which was awesome and he had lots of great tacts to share along the ride. The whole experience took about six hours so make sure you have the whole day to explore. We made about 4 stop where we got off the bus. While the Maid of the Mist is certainly a must see, our favorite was the Cave of the Winds! It was so awesome to feel like we were right next to the waterfall. For part of the tour we were with our tour guide the whole time and then at different stops he would let us out to explore. He was always very clear about exactly when to be back and where to meet. It was great to know exactly what we were doing and feel like we had someone making sure we were taken care of! I highly recommend this tour experience and I would ask for Darin if I were you! He was a delight! One other cool thing was that Darin made us feel like a team (there were 27 of us on the bus). He had group cheers and team captains. The tour had many adults, couples, and families with children. While the group was very diverse, there was something for everyone and he made sure that all of us were entertained. One note, the tour guides live off of gratuity. You want to make sure you have cash on hand (15% of the ticket price) to give to your tour guide. Believe me, they work for it! Or at least Darin does!

This is a CAN'T MISS experience! I guarantee the first question that your friends will ask you…read moreafter your Niagara Falls vacation will be - "did you ride the boat?" Boarding experience was efficient. They have attendants to usher you into one of several elevators. Then a short walk down to the platform while you wait for one of two boats so the wait is not long. Red ponchos given to you which are complimentary. PRO TIP: you'll get the best pictures if you're lucky enough to be able to get a spot on the upper deck near the railing. We were so lucky to be "cut off" from the line ahead of us for one boat and had to wait for the next boat, which turned out to be excellent for us. I wonder if you can request to wait if it looks like you're going to be the last ones on a boat. Surely the last in line will be towards the back of the boat or on the lower deck. But even if that's you, don't be worried - the boat sails in, and then turns around to go out. So even if you are in the back, there will be an opportunity for a picture. No announcements from the captain. No demonstration of putting on life jackets or at least told where they are located. Any boat tour I've done in the US would typically have something like this. Guess it's different in Canada. Everyone loaded, the boat just goes. And what a spectacular view. Take your family pictures as you are getting close, because after a certain point, you will feel the power of the falls. Eventually all you'll be able to see is mist. And it will feel like you're caught in a rain storm. The crowd all yells, laughs, and screams in excited unison! At some point, you could even say you're just trying to survive. You'll be lucky if the poncho hood stays on your head and that it covers both of your arms. Our hats were soaked and shoes were drenched, but we had so much fun! Definitely an experience that my kids will remember for their lifetime! Highly recommend!

Tasted like it had been boiled for hours then sprayed with grill marks. Simply awful. The one and only bite I took was already half way down my throat when I realized I wanted to get as far away from it as possible. That out of the way... Everything else was a charm! I boarded Niagara City Cruises with the confidence of someone who had never seen Niagara Falls and assumed the complimentary red poncho would keep me dry. Wrong. We got absolutely blasted by the falls! It was spectacular fun! The experience began innocently enough. The falls looked beautiful from a distance. People were smiling. Birds were flying. Families were taking photos. Then the boat moved closer and nature abruptly decided that everyone on board needed a shower. Literally thousands of gallons of water a second are crashing from the sky. The poncho performed admirably if its job was protecting approximately 60 percent of my body. My hair and face were soaked. My pant legs and shoes were drenched. My poncho kept bellowing in the wind. I looked around at one point and I saw that this was everyone's story. The closer we got to the falls, the less we could see. The magnificent view slowly transformed into a white wall of mist, wind and life choices. Conversations became impossible. Communication was reduced to pointing, yelling and laughing. The power is overwhelming. The noise is deafening. The mist is relentless. The memory is unforgettable. Yes, it was incredible and I wish to have this experience -- without the hot dog -- all over again!

While the drivers were pleasant, they appeared very inexperienced and unfamiliar with NYC streets and the routes to and from the tennis center in Flushings Meadows. They also had difficulty driving within the lanes and avoiding curbs in the tunnels. The trip is normally 7 hrs and we quickly learned that the air conditioning was not working on this hot and humid weekend. When the first person went to use the toilet, they also learned the light inside the small compartment did not work. The drivers acted surprised. We also learned that the drivers were unfamiliar with NYC streets and the hotel location. They had no written directions and attempted to use a GPS, but it was for passenger, not commercial vehicles and didn't provide any guidance on restricted NYC roads and low bridges. This was especially problematic on the trips to/from the hotel and the tennis center on Friday and Saturday. The driver eventually asked passengers to navigate for him, which they did for two days. But the driver could not find his way in, out of the tennis center or where to park the bus. In summary, I would never go on another trip that used Landmark buses and drivers. The trips took longer than necessary do to the lack of experience with the area. I have no confidence in who they hire, what experience they require, who they assign to drive on trips, no pre-trip checks of their vehicles and the apparent lack of any training and support to drivers. For example, the driver said he had to travel an hour away to NJ to park the bus overnight on Friday & Saturday. He was unaware of where to park in NYC. This was truly an unbelievable experience that other people should avoid.

The 4-hour tour covers everything you came to see, and the small group size (only 7 passengers in a cozy van) makes it personal and comfortable. Our tour guide, Cheryl, made the trip unforgettable. Her excellent customer service and clear communication stood out, and she ensured timely hotel or Airbnb pick-up and drop-off. Highly recommended--make your reservation now, you won't regret it! I love that we were picked up at our hotel! We started at the CN tour, where Essan dropped us off at the entrance to go up the tour and explore for ~30 minutes. Just on the way to the tower, he shared so many fun facts about the area! When we were done, he was waiting outside of the tower for us and shared another fascinating history story. He shared his personal story with us and we were amazed at how many synchronicities there were! We then went to the Distillery District, where he brought us into a distillery and shared some additional stories. He walked us all over that district, making sure we stopped to get pictures. He was thrilled to take pictures for us! He took us to many more sites, including the upscale shopping areas and shared so much of the areas history! All in all, we easily were with him over 3 hours! Well worth the money! Essan was entertaining and funny and by the end, we felt like we had made a new friend! I highly recommend this tour! Not too much walking but so much covered! Thanks, Essan!!
