The have moved many projects including moving my grand piano when I redo my floors. Never have I had any problems, including no damage to ANYTHING. After moving my things out, they often move the new people in and we are all happy with the efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism. They help me not having to retire.

It was great to have the…read moretrailer delivered to my place, have a couple days to load it, and then have it delivered to my doorstep about 12 days later. I was quoted a price that was a more reasonable cost than renting a truck and moving it myself. The customer service team was very helpful and accommodating as we arranged delivery and pick up, and when I had difficulty removing the bulkhead due to bent poles, they sent the driver back to assist. The driver Steve was terrific! Because of their tip to load things high and tight, I actually used less space than I was quoted, and saved a significant amount of money. Everything arrived intact. I highly recommend UPack for a cross-country move!

I was worried about moving stuff from Rochester, MN to Sunnyvale, CA after reading such bad reviews…read morefrom a variety of companies. Chose Piepho after having an estimate done with Fran. He was awesome! He was thorough, took his time, showed he cared by sitting down with me and explaining how the do their estimates and how the move process goes. He responds quickly to email and truly the nicest estimator I'd worked with (I had about 5 different people come to our 1 bedroom apartment) and had estimates over the phone. He offered any available boxes they had including medium and large moving boxes, wardrobe boxes (3), and TV boxes (2) for FREE. This was a huge reason why I chose them as well since these boxes can get ridiculously expensive. Some were used boxes and some were new, but all were in excellent condition. He even showed us how to assemble the wardrobe box. The movers came in a big North American Van Lines semi and was able to park in a really tight space behind our apartment building. I was super impressed with Fabian our mover and primary contact from that point. He was very fast and strong and efficient--you could tell he had 15 years of experience. They took down all big furniture (bed frame, etc) and provided all materials for packing such as big blankets, stretch wrap, etc. Pick up was on May 17. Our estimated window of delivery was between May 23 and June 7 when we first booked with the company. We were informed of the actual delivery date on pick up date which was May 24 and they delivered on time, as scheduled. They reassembled everything they took apart and were very organized in unloading. I would highly recommend Piepho (working with Fran) and Fabian (mover) for anyone making a big move. NONE of our furniture or belongings were damaged, NOTHING was missing. Also the price was excellent! One of the best estimates I received, and the final cost came in UNDER THE ESTIMATE by about $250 which was awesome. They let me pay on the day of delivery via credit card over the phone with no additional charge for using a credit card (as some companies do). I would use them again in a heartbeat for any of my future moves!!!

Be warned about Zippy Shell! I had a very disappointing experience with Zippy Shell. When I booked,…read morethe salesperson quoted me a flat fee of $3,000 and assured me there would be no hidden costs. In reality, I was charged $3,502.62 with extra fees for storage ($278.42) and gas ($224.20) that were never disclosed or agreed to. On top of that, I was promised delivery within 7-10 days. What I later found out is that this only meant delivery to Zippy Shell's facility in the destination city, not to my actual new address. My container didn't arrive at their facility until September 3, and then they refused to deliver to my home until September 8. Customer service was dismissive and repeatedly hid behind "policy" instead of addressing the clear discrepancies. After researching, I found other customers reporting the same issues. I believe this reflects a pattern of deceptive business practices, and I cannot recommend Zippy Shell.

Zippyshell was highly unreliable. Move scheduled and contracted for a specific date. On that date…read moreas We await our storage shell and loaders we find out that they changed the moving date by 6 days. With no phone call, no notice. Their response sorry...the loaders changed their available date...not sure why we didn't call you. We now have to pay extended rent take extra days off work, etc. Their customer service response is...sorry nothing we can do ..no compensation for added cost on our side. Oh...and it gets better they say after you contract you can't talk to your sales person after sale is complete. They won't take your call.
