I always use my credit card because I am not sure of what the final fee will be. There has never been an issue with my credit card before. Recently I tried to make an appointment for my dogs to get shots, when someone called me later that evening to make the appointment, the guy said "before I can make the appointment I need a deposit". When I asked when did that start, he said last year. I asked where and when was there notification of this, he just said "you will just have to go into the office to make an appointment. Wow, with everything that's going on today, why would they think anyone would give out that information on the phone when you cannot verify who you are talking to or that information is correct. Why don't they post policy information somewhere that is available to the public?

About a week later I called to make another appointment when the person on the phone said I would have to pay my NO SHOW fee BEFORE she could set the next appointment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Like I said, I spent $1,200 in 2 weeks and need another appointment. They would not wave the fee so I guess the $65 fee was more important to them then keeping a new client .
