They have always been attentive, caring and considerate to what the animal needed. I believe we need to be more understanding of someone's time. What I see is he devotes most of his life to these animals. There are at times something that will go wrong - just like in a hospital - the cat had complications after the surgery for example. When they call you during one of these times the sincerity is honest and heartfelt. I just had to put down a couple of ours animals and I truly appreciated the time he took with us during this process. He does this at night and I always wonder when does the team get to go home to their families because I see them always working. I trust this Vet with all of my animals. I live in Brooklyn and, compared to the insane prices in the city, this hospital was very nice and reasonable for the services they provide. My dog ended up needing many of his teeth pulled and he had the growth removed, which were both done in the same day. The doctor was very friendly and thoughtful about how she explained the issues my dog was having. I actually decided to bring my other pug in for a general check up the next day.

Late last night, our pup who has cancer suddenly started seizing repeatedly and we knew it was time to let her go. The closest ER is 50 minutes away so I thought I'd try Dr. Weinberg. When I tried to explain he responded "uh call back tomorrow evening?" I understand that he has office hours and won't make accommodations after hours but stating you're available 24/7 on your site is a lie. Also, the nonchalance, non apologetic, unsympathetic tone made a terrible situation, worse. I can't imagine what type of compassion and care he'd have for animals if this was his tone towards an emergent euthanasia request. Also, when our pup was first diagnosed, I emailed to ask questions about potentially arranging an at home euthanasia and received no response.
