This is a really nice huge mall. They have so many stores and the best way to tour the mall is start at one end and just make the whole round walk. Most stores have really good sales and the coach and kohrs store have great discounts. All the staff in the stores I visited were super helpful and friendly and no one was bugging you. This mall gets pretty crowded, but I stumbled upon some hidden gems: Pepper Palace, a local hot sauce emporium, and Belong, a virtual and table-top gaming lounge reminiscent of Japanese internet cafés. Both these businesses were staffed by super friendly folks. I immediately felt at home in the Pepper Palace with how helpful the shopkeeper was with giving me all the details of some of the hot sauces as far as heat level, what food best to pair with, and fun anecdotes she had with her own family trying the sauces. She is definitely a cool mom who knows good food and spice. Matthew was beyond helpful at helping us feel the Belong-ing. Belong the videogame lounge is going to revolutionize social gaming in our world. I cannot wait to be a part of what the new generations of technology and society will build together. I like this outlet more than the one in Grand Prairie. Here's my pros and cons about this place: Pro 1. Indoor mall - not many outlets are indoor. You can shop without worrying about the weather 2. It's one big floor - if you follow the path you will make a big circle and Can come back to the same spot. You won't miss any stores 3. Discounts, discounts, discounts - I ended up buying a lot of clothes but I got really great deal. Many stores also have a military discount so if you're military you should ask before you pay Con 1. First visit post pandemic. Not all in masks. We got their early and able to social distance but by noon crowds were too large. Went in a few stores but most have not gotten their inventory back up. This is a review of the mall management. At Grapefest the management of the mall handed out thousands of vouchers for free tickets to Meow Wolf that were valid through September. We went there on September 23rd for our free admission, only to be sent to the management office to be told they are out of free tickets. This is not a review of the mall itself, which is great, but a comment on the awful management office. I feel sorry for the mall tenants who have to deal with that heartless b**ch (a word I never use). In order to get the tickets, one had to go during office hours (M-F, 9-5) and then be told they are out of tickets. She refused to offer any kind of voucher or discount, other than to say we could go to Peppa Pig for free instead. I want to emphasize that the vouchers for free tickets were distributed at a WINE festival--not a lot of kids there. Also, there was no indication of how many "free tickets " were available--could have been 20. This "promotion" probably made a handful of people happy, but cheated thousands, making them, I would guess, far less likely to shop at or think highly of Grapevine Mills. read more

This is my first time to go this outlet mall in the area. It was good experience and I didn't know this place isn't far from my house. I never buy something at outlet before with any reason(most reason is too busy at the mall every time I went to or there's not my size) but this place was not a lot of people than I thought and there's some my size. I got so lucky for found my size and could buy what I want to buy. There are not many shop for shopping but some good shop is there. Little smaller than I thought. Very clean. I thinking good for family who has kids. read more

I absolutely love this mall!!! My family was in town with the little ones and wanted somewhere that the kids could have fun while the adults shopped. I said..."Let's head over to Grapevine Mills mall." The kids played at the go carting and lazer tag, then we all hit the Escape Room(lawwwd if you have old joints this is not for you) LBSVS. Then LegoLand became a MUST do...I pasted on that selection then decided to take a break. I found a massage chair that did the trick for two dollars per session. I feed that chair 10 bucks while almost dosing off in public. Needless to say I was wore out, but everybody has a great time. read more

I am not a huge shopping mall expert or fan so take it for what it's worth. I am giving this mall 4 stars because it was virtually empty on a Wednesday afternoon so parking was ample. I like that. I compare it to NorthPark which always seems to be busy and parking is always difficult. So this was a nice change. That said, it is a far drive for us. Actually, this was the first time I was in Grapevine and I've lived in Dallas since the 1990s. I would not drive there to shop under ordinary circumstances. I mean, it's a shopping mall. It has lots of stores. I did not see anything special or unique that would make me "have" to return. It was a fine experience. I walk and shop regularly at this mall. It is so frustrating that the stores don't open on time. Most have their hours posted outside of the store so you know when they're open. There is one store that isn't open on time most weeks. Today, when we walked, I was going to stop in Sephora when they opened at 11. I walked by shortly after 11, the doors were still down, employees were all over the store, looking into mirrors and talking to each other, but the store wasn't open. I don't understand! They lost my business today and I'm limiting how much I'll shop there because of the inconsistencies. read more

This might be one of my favorite malls in Dallas county. Yes, the parking can occasionally be loco, but once you're in, it's all good! I haven't been around the holidays though...don't want to imagine. I love how it's unique in the sense that it has strip mall stores like Ross, Burlington, Marshalls, and Five Below, it has outlet mall stores (accepting outlet coupons for you VIPers) like Wilson's Leather, Old Navy/Banana Republic, Neiman Marcus, and NY & Co., but then you can also buy furniture and appliances at Sears Outlet, pretty undies at Victoria's Secret, smell goods at Bath & Body Works and grub at Chili's in the food court. Add a grocery and there's no reason to leave, fam! It's pretty kid-friendly too and I just noticed there's a bowling alley that appears to be something like Main Event. Hello karaoke! Looks like there are basketball tournaments too. Kids can ride the train around the mall or stop by Legoland. That Rainforest Cafe is super cool as well! This is a family mall and I'm here for it. I'm sure the last 20 years and the pandemic has taken a toll on it and it looks like it could use some updates from the outside, but when you got inside all the stores were full and it still seems to be a really nice place! Grapevine Mills is terrific to get your steps in during the hot summer months! The inside loop is over a mile and the carpeted areas make it quiet and calm. Everything is here -- movie theater with super friendly staff and discounts, huge food court with all the kid favorites, sit down Chilis with nice staff and lots of walkable eats like pretzels and bubble tea. It's an outlet mall but prices are standard and stores are plentiful -- high end Michael Kors and Kate Spade as well as Old Navy and Children's Place for family gear. Stores are clean, restrooms are clean, aisles are clear. Kids like Fieldhouse for volleyball and I can walk the mall while they practice! Lots of security inside and out and special pop up events like The North Face and Stranger Things stores. Round 1 has bowling and karaoke and even ping pong and arcade games! Sports Zone is not a good place to shop. The people there are very rude and the price they had on an item was cheaper than the one the charged me for, so I showed them where I got it and the lady ripped off the price tag and said it was a high price, my daughter who was with me understood their language and they said bad things and tried scamming me. read more

Nice, big mall. There are a lot of stores here, and I did not get to all of them. One thing to keep in mind is that not all "outlets" are actually real outlets. A few stores had regular prices as opposed to discounted outlet prices. If you're a seasoned shopper like me, this won't be an issue. I can spot a "bad price" from 20 miles away :-) I'm definitely going back and make my way to the stores that I missed. Another plus is that this mall has a movie theater, and is very close to the Grapevine wineries. The wineries are the reason I didn't make it to all of the stores - I simply couldn't pass an opportunity to sample some good wine ;-) read more

There's a couple of things I like about GM: 1) Wander through the food court around lunch time and you can get enough "free samples" for a light lunch. 2) On crappy weather days, it's a great place to walk. I like the ring design, as you don't have to double back like other malls. An internet search tells me one lap is one mile. Great way to walk off those samples. Note: The people in the kiosks will try to engage you your first time past, but once they see you a couple times they back off. Other than that, it's a mall. I seem to recall thinking it's a "factory outlet" mall, but I don't think that's strictly the case. There are some stores that have outlet (or similar) in their name, i.e. Corning Corelle Revere Factory Outlet, Kenneth Cole Outlet Store, Levi's Outlet, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Perry Ellis Outlet, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, The Limited Outlet, Van Heusen Factory Outlet, VF Outlet, and Wilsons Leather Outlet. And there are many discount stores, but some seem to be full retail. AMC Theater (http://www.yelp.com/biz/amc-grapevine-mills-30-with-dine-in-theatres-grapevine) with with Dine-in options and 30 (yes thirty) screens means you can always find something to watch, perhaps while your significant other shops. There's also the Legoland Discovery Center (http://www.yelp.com/biz/legoland-discovery-center-grapevine) and the Grapevine Sea-Life Aquarium (http://www.yelp.com/biz/sea-life-aquarium-grapevine). I've not been to either. There's a number of satellite stores and restaurants on the exterior perimeter of the mall too. You can walk there, through the parking lot, but it's not a covered walk. Bottom line: Good place to shop, eat, walk, see a movie and generally kill time. Edit: I started out with a three star A-OK rating, but after listing all the things to do I bumped it up a star. This used to be a really nice mall. I've been coming here for years, and lately it seems to be going down hill. My daughter and I had the unfortunate experience of having to go to the bathroom when we visited. I did post one picture, but that doesn't even begin to describe how nasty the bathroom actually was or how bad it smelled. The bad thing is, that was the second bathroom we visited. The first was in Neimans, and it wasn't clean either and had no toilet paper. Bathrooms aside, the rest of the mall was pretty clean. We will visit again because we shop at several stores there, but we will stop and use the facilities elsewhere. read more

Soooo many stores and sooo much walking! But I don't mind it because I love shopping and seeing what's new in fashion. I went to Grapevine Mills a couple of times in the past few months because I wanted to see what the hype was about. I live 5 mins from Allen outlets and I don't go there too often. But after visiting Grapevine Mills and driving 40 mins each way...I prefer Allen outlets in every way minus the parking situation. Grapevine Mills is all indoors which is great especially in the freezing cold days and extremely hot days in the Summer. I just didn't like the overall layout and the chaos was kinda suffocating. I rather deal with chaos outdoors for some reason haha. But in all seriousness, if you like shopping it's worth checking out because they do have more stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks Off 5th, Marshall's, Ross, Legoland and the list goes on (since I can't remember) They have a huge food court as well which I liked. Don't you dare go to the restrooms though..my son had to go and I nearly fainted! Anyways, happy shopping but it can be addictive so be careful with that! read more

If you need a good work out while having the chance to do some shopping (or just window shopping), this is a great place to come. The mall has no dead end which is nice you can actually make your way around and reach every part of the mall in one big circle. The only recommendation is to wear comfortable shoes as I have heard ppl. complaining that the mall is too big for them! Although my kids (10, 7 and 3) had no problems walking around! We came here to check out their mini legoland and aquarium but opted out just to visit the aquarium. What I love about this mall is that they have small private business that sell other things than clothes, shoes and soaps. They also have a big food court to get some refreshment and I also have seen some teenagers cruising around those electric cars/riding toys that you can rent out to explore the mall. Absolutely love this mall!! There are tons of shops, places to eat, and always something to do and see. Unfortunately like many malls stores have closed, but this mall seems to have overcome that and still has so much energy!! There is a great mixture of stores for everyone, so if you want to spend a little more there is Michael Kors, Torrid, Lane Bryant, Wilson's Leather, and Coach and if you have a little less to spend there is Old Navy, Forever 21, H&M, Ross, and Burlington. There are also tons of stores in between and there is usually a sale or discount happening as it is an outlet mall! The mall is in a complete circle, so you get your steps in. They also have a huge food court and an AMC movie theatre, so if you need a break or get hungry there are plenty of choices. This is definitely my go to mall for shopping and savings!! read more

You would expect more from a mall then what I've seen here. There is sooo much trash all over the floors and it's so nasty. Food all over floor and we aren't talking about in the food court. This is everywhere in this mall. The bathrooms are literally disgusting! So dirty and very gross. It is not maintained and is nasty! I would avoid the bathroom area completely thats how gross it is. Makes you feel really dirty using the bathroom. Come here for the Escape Room. Would not come to this mall any other reason it's dirty! read more

Uh yeah, my second time within two weeks I guess you can say I'm a fan, but probably more like I've been retail deprived. I'm not used to having to drive two hours for real shopping but when you're in the sticks...you go wherever there's real stores! I'm a sucker for good bargains so while we're back in the states, I was elated to find out there were a few outlet malls near Dallas. Naturally, I had to choose the largest one, Grapevine Mills (GM). While it may not be the largest outlet mall I have been to, it does offer over 180 stores. I would like to believe that both a woman and man came up with a site plan for this mall because it caters to both sexes super well. There's not many outlet malls, let alone shopping malls, which offer more than just food and retail stores. GM has a few bonus attractions like an AMC 30 movie theater, plus 3D and select dine in theaters. Nice touch! It just so happened that one of hubby's movies had just come out so he gladly volunteered to "try out" the theater. I think I could have shopped for another 6 hours because his comment was something like..."Nice theater with a full menu of food to choose from and I also had my beer delivered straight to my chair!" See? These people know how guys like to pass time while the lady is out hunting for bargains! Other notable places see in passing were Lego Land, Sea Life Aquarium, Rainforest Café, Round One (bowling, arcade, etc.), and Fieldhouse USA (hosts a variety of indoor recreational events for adults/youth). It's great because all the stores are in doors so you can shop in the comfort of free aircon or escaping the cold winds like the weekend prior. There's plenty of various seating in front of most stores, so if you're in need of a break...or a back or foot massage there's a time out for you too! The mall is easy accessible not far off the freeway with ample parking, tons of restaurants surrounding the mall as well as a large indoor food court. Weekends, of course, are a bit crazy as I had to stand in several lines at many stores to pay for my purchases but it was still worth the wait and the drive (s). read more

I really like this mall despite quite a few bad reviews. Occupancy seems very high compared to other malls, and I think there are more off-normal stores here as well. The food court is good, better than many. It's extremely large, so you can get your walking steps in very easily while making about 3 laps. Also, if you have kids, this place has a few places like Legoland, aquarium, Peppa Pig, and Rainforest Cafe to entertain them. Overall, Compared to a lot of struggling malls, this one is well above average. read more
