Came here over the summer, specifically the Sturgis rally. I don't even really like coffee, but I chose to get a frozen coffee caramel drink. I was so sad when there was none left. The lines can get a little bit longer here. There's plenty of parking. There's plenty of seating and lots of great smiles here when being served. They have wine tasting and Frosé. They also have a shopping section with all of your souvenir needs. They have a restroomfor customers. They have gelato, food like sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast burritos. This place is a seasonal coffee shop so they open in the spring and close during the fall before the big snow season. I try to come to Mount Rushmore one time a year and I'm hoping to return here to try their food. I recommend this coffee shop for sure.

Great service, good wine, nice clean storefront. Free wine tastings; we were also give a free glass since it's our honeymoon!

Cozy coffee shop in Keystone, South Dakota. Having a cup of hot coffee in a cold May morning is just perfect . B-52 is my choice (with a bit of cream on the top).

Such a cute place! They have a fun little gift shop, but also have a playground, chess board, and corn hole outside. The smoothie was amazing and tasted so fresh and the wine tasting had a fun variety. The Red Ass was my favorite by far and had a good sweet flavor.

Delicious caramel frappe, best one I've had in awhile! Had a breakfast sandwich one day and a bagel the next. They were good. Lots of room to sit, especially outside. The line to order was a little long but the baristas worked hard to get the drinks and food out quickly.

This town is so touristy and while this place still have touches of it, it was a great experience. We ordered the rhubarb wine. It was delicious! We loved sitting outside and enjoying the view. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something a little off of the main drag to relax a bit.

This place is so cute. Great location and good coffee and food. My partner and I went in the morning before our drive and we both got lavender lattes. They have alternative milk if you need. We got scone and a bagel for breakfast and they were both delicious.

The outside area

It's a for sure stop every time we come to this area. Always order the mocha and a couple delicious scones (white chocolate raspberry & blueberry). Was the first one through the door at 7 and had a warm morning greeting and my order taken quickly. A nice little gift shop, wine tasting area, and fresh gelato. The kids love to play one the playground and with the giant chess. And a new pergola with tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoor beauty.

But some of the states' best ice cream can be found around Rapid City, South Dakota. Enter The Silver Lining Creamery. This small-batch scoop shop only has locations in the Dakotas. But don't count out the rotating selection of premium, handcrafted ice cream. Silver Lining is routinely ranked among the best ice cream parlors in the state. The Rapid City location is at the far corner of the Main Street Square, adjacent to the covered downtown parking lot. Countless metal tables and chairs are organized on the outside patio, and the flavor lineup is markered onto a stainless steel menu beside a seasonal service window. A bulbed "ice cream" sign sits above the front entrance. Inside, the queue twists along the curved counter. Merch shelves and a grab-and-go freezer are pressed against the exposed brick wall to the right, while a half-booth is tucked into the corner beside the side entrance on the left. The two-tiered ceiling is accented by a baby blue lighted strip, while a deep blue "ice cream solves everything" neon sign is displayed against the back subway-tiled wall. Ambient music plays lightly in the background. My group visited on a Sunday evening in late spring, and Silver Lining still boasted a sizeable crowd. The flavor lineup ranged from standard to moderately ambitious -- namely, Silver Lining offered a perfume-y sage-flavored ice cream. After sampling multiple flavors, my partner and I opted to share a triple-scoop in a waffle cone. The cone was dwarfed by the giant scoops; our staff member treated it as a personal challenge to see how much ice cream the petite cone could possibly balance. The high butterfat content was unmistakable -- the ice cream was eyebrow-raisingly creamy but not overwhelmingly sweet. My favorite flavor was the mildly mocha-y Coffee Toffee, while my partner enjoyed the true-to-flavor Butterscotch. Our final flavor, Circus Town (birthday cake ice cream with frosted animal cracker), was no slouch, either. The service was efficient and accommodating, and a monster-sized triple scoop runs $8 -- a bargain by big-city standards. I left feeling impressed by the portion sizes and the execution. For a sophisticated yet crowd-pleasing dessert option, Silver Lining is a solid bet.

The chocolate ice cream was really good and mixed with the crumbled Oreos perfectly, making each bite have little bits of cookies mixed in the ice cream. Highly recommend! Mom got Lauren's landslide and she really loved it too. She liked the vanilla and chocolate mixed ice cream as well as the huge cookie dough chunks. And how doesn't love caramel and chocolate on top of their ice cream?? We had to wait in line about 20-30 minutes, and then had to wait another 15 minutes or so before they called our name with our finished order at the window so be prepared to wait a little, especially if you visit during the weekend. But overall it was worth it to me. The ice cream was smooth and yummy and I loved the cookie pieces mixed into it.
