Just walked in here to check this place out. I really wanted to go in and enjoy walking around and…read moreeven buy something. They have a good selection of products pre checked so if your vegan u don't have to check the label. The reason why I gave 1 Star is because the lady at the counter said she's pro vegan and she's an extremist vegan (her words) so she blurted all this crap out and questioned why I ate meat and wore leather. I was gonna buy some items but felt like I have having someone else's beliefs shoved down my throat and I walked out. Never will I go back in here again!

100% Vegan stands on what used to be the old beloved One Earth shop. From the outside, you won't…read morenotice a change as it still retains the old signage. The new owners have taken everything we love about One Earth and given it a new lease of life, with lots of new products I have never seen on sale in Birmingham before For example the amount of cheese they stock is ridiculous and certainly 100% Vegan's strong point. I picked up some Vio Life olive slices last Saturday which I am excited about trying on my lunch shortly! As someone who is newly diagnosed with a wheat intolerance, I found so many items in store that I had I was allowed to have and found impossible to buy anywhere else. Examples include, wheat free biscuits, miso, cereals, flour and Hendersons relish!!!! I have looked everywhere for that in Birmingham and at last found it! 100% Vegan stock a massive range of pastries and cakes made locally which you cannot resist picking up when you visit, I have been to many Vegan stores across the country and what I haven't seen is genuine special offers. Not things going out of date "offers" but proper ones. I spotted quite a few in 100% Vegan last Saturday. I am a massive bargain hunter so was so pleased! With The Warehouse Café next door going from strength to strength, I am sure that 100% Vegan will be very successful over the next year. Go pay them a visit!

Myraid Organics surprised me, both in terms of how big it actually is (I only expecting a tiny…read morelittle shop) & the product range that they stock; rather than limited range, it's more an all purpose little grocery shop with all sorts of food, toiletires, books & plenty of other bits & pieces. The whole store was nicely laid out & organised, the staff were lovely & very welcoming, also very patient in answering my questions (there were quite a few, I was rather excited by the store). My daughter was most impressed by the child sized shopping baskets that were stacked next to the regular sized ones - it was a thoughtful little touch. All the items that we purchased were of great quality, the fruit & veg were delicious & didn't last long at all, likewise the fruit & nut bars. The clear soaps that they sold, whose name I stupidly did not take note of, were wonderful - perfect for sensitive skin & smelled delightful. All in all, a wonderful store & excellent alternative to so many of the generic high street grocery shops.

Excellent shop and I would fully endorse Madeleine's view in all respects. There is a refill service for household detergents etc., organic eggs (including duck eggs!) from local farmers, and some delicious foods (bhajis, soups) cooked on the premises. This isn't a store where you feel you need to have dedicated your life to Zen Buddhism or possess an encyclopaedic knowledge of auras and chakras just to pop in and pick up a jar of peanut butter and some pine nuts. Everyone is down-to-earth (no pun intended), helpful and 'normal' even the customers!

You are required to use the NHS app to check-in to ensure that contact tracing can occur should a visitor later test positive. We were asked to wait at the benches facing the field with menus in hand. The cows and pasture is gorgeous. The weather is fine as long as the sun pokes out. Nevertheless we waited for a while as this is Spring break and many families are out here enjoying the views. We noticed that groups that came after us had been called and that the hostess who took down our information had gone on break. Sure enough, there was no record of us on the list after I inquired. The staff apologized for the poor communication among their colleagues and made sure to seat us at the next available. The server again apologized and took our order right away, including our dessert which was placed on hold until we were ready. The tables are cleaned immediately after guests leave. There are heaters placed strategically around the dining area however only the center one is lit. Thankfully we lucked out and sat by the heat lamp that was lit. The food came out reasonably fast. We could hear the cook shouting orders at the staff and it seemed like a well run cafe minus the hostess snafu. Our food was fresh and good tasting. The dessert was also fresh and delicious. Overall this place did well considering the disorganized start. It was true to the quality we have become accustomed to when visiting here.
