My friend and fellow yelper, with the patient assistance from our DD, came through to taste of the wares for a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon. Tickets were $30 a pop for all you can reasonably drink/taste. Thankfully, the weather was kind, and it was not too hot out. There were also plenty of choices inside the main air-conditioned building, and underneath tents and shade outside too. Direct sunlight was easily avoided for me. Win! Having never been to a beer festival of any kind, I had zero idea what to expect. Line management to get in was kinda eh, but once we had our IDs checked, our wrists banded, our DD settled in, and were corralled into the pen we had ourselves quite a time sampling and re sampling. There was free water everywhere, which was great! BBQ Championship foods were also available, and we tried some nachos and ribs that were excellent. Breweries near and far came, so it wasn't just immediately local beer. We had Oregon and Colorado repping, along with California choices from all up and down the coast and valley. Each brewery booth had anywhere from 3-6 choices. Idol, Five Window, Lodi Beer Co., High Water (where us Campfire Stout fans had pre-gamed beforehand), and Dancing Fox were the ones I tasted from Lodi that I can remember off the top of my head. There were also a few cider (Hemly!) and hard seltzerish (White Claw!) booths. The cover band was pretty good, too. I didn't find the line situation too bad once inside. I never had to wait longer than five minutes per taste. One could go nuts if they wanted, but I like to think I tried to behave myself lol. The indoor plumbing situation was a hot mess, but in a way was nostalgic, reminding me both of the county fair of my youth and also the overflowing Oakland Coliseum bathrooms. Although there were multiple bathroom areas inside, functional plumbing at the time of need was not guaranteed. Closed-toe shoes would have been a good idea, as a mental note to myself for next time. Porta Potties were also available outside, but I did not use these. There was not anything of substance that we could locate for vegans to eat other than beer and stray chips uncovered by meat or dairy. I would come here again for Beer Fest, or perhaps to try out the Grape Festival. Parking was ??? gravel lot and side streets maybe, maybe bring someone from Lodi like we did.

An employee came into the theater and told everyone we would be refunded for our tickets, refunded for our food, and given comp tickets for the inconvenience. We stood in an extremely long line just to refund our food, and instead of simply processing the refund, they took the food back, even though it was obviously just going to be thrown away. It felt petty, almost like a punishment for asking for our money back. The process was disorganized and unnecessarily complicated. We were then told to stand in a separate line to refund our tickets. Even with my receipt, I was denied a refund because I didn't have the physical paper tickets. Instead, I was given comp tickets, which I didn't want, because after this experience I have no intention of returning. Despite what was announced to the entire theater, we were not given both refunds and comp tickets. Staff were rude, unapologetic, and showed zero concern for the inconvenience caused. Technical issues are understandable. Poor customer service is not. This entire experience felt dismissive and poorly managed. It was a major inconvenience.

I enjoyed the wine flavors here a bit better. I'm more for the lighter white wine selections these days. They gave me good options. The outdoor garden area with patio seating is pleasant. Their venue has a more modern and clean feel. It seems pretty relaxing. Some of the cutest pumpkins and gourds were displayed at the entranceway. The expanse of the vineyard itself is amazing in the forefront of blue skies and sunlight. Lots of parking is available on their gravel lot. Treated us with respect and kindness the whole time we were there, this would be our first time going there. But the two ladies behind the bar !wow! talk about purposely making you feel unwelcome, giving us side eyes... like if they were above us. I didn't like or appreciate that kind of attitude towards ANYONE this is a business there are certain protocols that need to be followed, regardless. We weren't being disrespectful or loud! In my family We are taught very early on to be very RESPECTFUL. Anyways, I put my feelings aside and I didn't let the two females ruin MY day. We had a wonderful time, Because we chose to dust off the bad vibes. And make it a memorable day with my sisters and friends. I probably will be going somewhere else, the next time I want to do wine tasting again. IMPROVE; I would say maybe a lesson in bedside manners for the 2 ladies behind the counter. We too have all color friends. And welcome them with open arms. * I do want to say to our tour guide T you were so kind on Saturday. Thank you!

WOW has always been a favorite for our family, but this event really brought the whole community together. The museum was full of energy with kids running from activity to activity, experimenting, building, and just having fun learning without even realizing it. The raffle baskets were fantastic and way bigger than I expected. You could tell local businesses and supporters really showed up for this event. There were vendors set up, tons of hands on activities throughout the museum, and yes, free popcorn which automatically makes any kid event a win. What I love most about WOW is that it never feels overwhelming or overly structured. Kids are encouraged to explore, touch everything, and be curious. You can easily spend a few hours here and still not see it all. It is such an important space for downtown Lodi and a great reminder of how valuable places like this are for families. Fun, educational, and genuinely community-driven. We had a blast celebrating with the WOW museum!

Upon coming in, the front desk was very kind and helpful. The museum itself isn't too big nor too small, but has a lot of interesting exhibitions and activities for the kids to do along with a gift shop. My little cousins had a lot of fun and learned about frequency wave lengths, electricity, and some brain ticklers, amongst other things. I hope this little museum can one day offer more exhibitions for the littles, but we had an amazing time nonetheless!

We came for Sunday lunch with family and were seated right away. Our waiter was great -- he checked in on us regularly and even refilled our drinks without us having to ask, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Greek salad with added salmon (+$8) and it was a great choice. The portion was generous and came with a slice of focaccia. The salad had mixed greens, olives, artichokes, feta, and red onion with a really tasty balsamic vinaigrette. Our table also ordered a cheese pizza, Caesar salad wrap, and the chicken pot pie. I had a bite of the pot pie and it was incredible -- definitely ordering that next time. Bonus: they offer a free wine tasting with the purchase of a meal, which is a fun extra. We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.
