I was passing through and noticed this place. The parking lot filled with cars let me know that it had to be explored.
The atmosphere is down home and friendly. The folks there were looking for good food, and they all appeared to have found it.
The menu included breakfast (on select days), sandwiches, loaded potatoes, plates/platters (wings, catfish, shrimp), fried chicken, and more.
The fish sandwich caught my eye. It was simple but delicious. I asked my serve to add mayo. I think some tartar sauce would also be good.
My server was friendly, helpful, and appropriately attentive.
I'll stop by again when I'm in the area. read more
