The only issue we had was when the granite installers were 3+ hours late which meant they were at our home until around 9pm. They did a great job, though. The back-splash installers were on time the next day and they also did a great job. The granite and back-splash are incredibly beautiful and we are so pleased with it! The prices are reasonable and there was never any sales pressure. Overall a wonderful experience!! Very good group of people. I will definitely call them again when we are ready to do other projects in our home.

We spent over $5,000 replacing counter tops in three rooms in a house we were selling. The…read moreinstallers were responsible for reinstalling the faucet in the powder room which was an extra fee. They installed the faucet incorrectly and the drawer would not close because it hit the drain pipe. Which was never an issue in the thirty years we lived in the house. Notified Fireplace & Granite immediately and sent photos and then a video they requested because they were too busy to come see the issue. Days went by with no response. We ended up hiring a plumber to adjust the faucet drain pipe. Our salesman (Travis) instructed us to pay the bill and said they would send a check to cover the repairs. Then nothing but excuses when we asked about the refund. "Only the owner can sign checks and he's on vacation. He will send a check when he get's back in town." Months later and still and no reimbursement. Now they don't bother replying to inquiries. Buyer beware.

We recently had a quartz countertop installed by Granite Details. While the finished product looks…read morefine, the overall experience left a lot to be desired--especially considering the cost and how easy we were to work with throughout the process. There were a few issues that took away from the experience: the installation team scratched our hardwood floors during the process, and more importantly, they left the backsplash uncaulked where it meets the wall. This is a basic finishing step that prevents water damage, and it was verbally confirmed during the measurement phase that it would be taken care of. When I reached out to have it resolved--something that would take no more than five minutes--the request was flatly denied, citing their paperwork. Regardless of what the fine print said, the lack of follow-through and unwillingness to make it right speaks volumes about their customer service, which I'd rate a 4 out of 10 at best.
