They stock a huge selection of a variety of natural stones, from granite, marble, quarts and quartzite, in their yard. Lots to choose from. Owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I initially went to a competitor down the road (who had better reviews), and found that the competitor was charging much more, and the owner was not nearly as friendly. Not only would the competitor not budge on their hefty prices, where he claimed "these are my prices" he also wanted to charge me a labor cost per square feet, for him to cut the marble for me. A labor price? It's called doing your job, and you should be glad I'm coming to your junk yard and giving you business. Anyways, not here at Stone King (aka Stone House Marble & Granite). They do NOT charge labor prices, which add up, and they do not nickel and dime you like their unscrupulous competitors.

The inside shop has a ton of small stuff you might need from screws and nails to bits of different sizes. They also are able to cut keys which is nice and I actually have some key blanks I need cut I will likely come back for. I feel like this is a great local lumber yard that's goin to have better quality materials and a little more variety of hardwood then your typical Lowes or home depot. I built the porch a few years ago with supplies that I purchased from The Stone Center in Bridgewater, NJ. They had the wall stone, cap stones, pavers, sand and masonry adhesive I needed. Their products are beautifully displayed outside the office at their location, making choosing simple. They delivered the materials to my work site. What disappointed me about The Stone Center is their computer lacked information about my porch supplies when I returned to buy my walk supplies. In the interest of time we tried to match paver color I used, from a photo on my phone. Big mistake. It did not match. As it turns out I like the new color better than the old but I wanted a seamless match. I also find that The Stone Center's prices are high. Many new and unknowledgeable customer service people are now working there.
