My mom and I were shopping for new kitchen countertops and our installer brought us to here. I felt like they had a wide variety of options to pick from, but I was told by a family member that this location is significantly smaller than other locations. Funny enough, I felt overwhelmed with options while walking around. Although, I didn't know exactly what I wanted and was just browsing. So do your research and go to the location that's best suited for what you're looking for. Aside from countertops, they also offer cabinets, handles, sinks and faucets. You can definitely get everything here if you wanted to. The workers were all really nice and helpful. They worked with us and the older gentleman even gave us a free soap dispenser. We picked out 3 quartz pieces and paid for them that same day. They held them for us until we were ready for installation and when our installer picked up the pieces, they were still in great condition. Our experience was reassuring and I'm sure we'll be back for my countertops as we continue to remodel our home. read more

They have a great selection of granite and quartz. The guy was very helpful in directing us where to look. The prices are reasonable 40-60% off. We need to get our measurements so we know what to tell our contractor to get. read more

This place has a small variety of granite, customer service is ok, if you're looking for certain type of rock, they'll send you to a different location across the city. When I tried to call them, they never answered. Phone calls were a struggle, I had to time my phone calls perfectly, because they would never pick up. When I purchased the rock, I verified with 3 different people, I asked if I can return in case it didn't fit in my space, and all 3 people said yes. I went ahead and purchased the slabs I needed, and sure enough, the slabs didn't fit. (And this was after an estimate that was created in store...WITH THEM.) So I asked if I can return all the slabs, I hadn't even loaded any of the slabs on my truck or anything, meaning, they were completely untouched, sitting at their place...when I asked for a refund, that's when they decided to tell me about their return policy, which includes a 25% deduction of your refund, so instead of getting my full money back, I ended up losing 300$ because they didn't care to mention it in the first place. Again, I had already asked them prior to purchasing, so why they charge that, I have no idea...go somewhere else for your granite. read more

They were trying to force my 84 year old friend to return a slab of granite back to the store from Elk Grove. They made a huge error, loading the wrong slab on his truck. Lots of labor paid out with loading and unloading. Johnatan was very difficult to deal with at the Sacraments store. While trying to load it to return, 84 yr old and one other dropped the slab and broke it. read more

Looking to update our entire kitchen and this place was referral over to me by a family member. Upon arrival, we've immediately looked at options available. We were approached by a sweet lady named Mui. Asked if we had any questions, she seemed knowledgeable. We've found a granite that we liked, asked if we could get a quote, she happily assisted us. We had our 2 year old son with us, they even offer him a treat for patiently waiting for us while we did the quote, that was nice gesture! The price was expected, we knew what we wanted and how we wanted the granite laid out. They told us demo and install would take a day, that was a big major concern of ours. We didn't want to be without a kitchen for a few days. Now that we got our quote, we will wait a few more months before contacting them back to complete the transaction. I will post an updated review once the job has been completed. Stay tuned... read more

This store has good selection and staff was kind and helpful. Good place to shop for your countertops and sinks.

We picked out a granite but there were no island slabs for that granite however the staff helped us by pointing out a similar style and color (not exact) to what sizes we needed. I am very happy they had a variety of choices and made it easy for us to get our selection and it is installed already by our contractor. read more

The outlet venue is basically a large open warehouse with a ton of options for granite, quartz etc. Its a more DIY type place that you need to know measurements etc or they will be unable to help you. We chose our counter surface and paid for the installation in home for our dual sink vanity. They wanted $150 to tear out the old vanity and prep for the new one, which was a rip off. I was able to do it myself within 30 mins. When the installer arrived I showed him where the vanity was. It was upstairs in master bedroom. He immediately asked for another $150 for installation since the bath was upstairs. I asked why, and he said because the slab may crack and because they have to climb 15 steps. I looked at him and said "don't you do this for a living? why would the slab crack?" I quickly realized that this part of their scam to collect a few extra dollars on their install fees. Keep in mind that the slab that I purchased along with 2 backsplash pieces came out to about $400 after tax, the INITIAL installation quote (with me doing the demo and prep) was $510, and now the installer asks for $150 more just to carry it upstairs! I didn't want to put up with his BS after the initial confrontation so I agreed so they could just get to work. $660 for install, SMH. It took them about 2 hours of cutting and prepping the slab in the driveway and 1 trip up the stairs (worth $150) to install the counter. Another 3 mins or so of sealing the silicon and they were done. They did scuff up some of my walls during install, which they just said "sorry" and recommended I touch up. See below for the installation pics, which were overall a good job. But I don't like when people try to nickel and dime for more $$$ after an initial bid is provided. read more

So there are multiple locations and the service here was very good, MUCH MUCH better than the one on Mill Road. Know there is not any negotiating EVEN when the error is theirs. They have tons of granite and tons of options, they may not have its ll available, but the crates coming from overseas seem to be piling in. Their prices are economical as well. They are very behind on installation times so plan accordingly. I am going to write a review for the other store (Mills Road) because the service there SUCKED terribly, especially the expectant young lady she needs to be OFF for being short in tone and rude as hell. read more

Tip: We did this. Measure out your counters depth, and width in sections before coming in. Draw it out, label them in INCHES even if not perfect. More accurate for quoting otherwise if you're off when they get there and they needed bigger slab you'll have issues! Great service. Decent price. Fast install. Jenny the assistant mgr I believe her tag said was courteous, efficient, friendly, and knowledgable. She answered pretty much all questions we had and made recommendations as well as drew out the kitchen counter layout to show slab placement and seams. There were no extra charges despite saying there MAY be depending on extra work if necessary when they ripped up etc. We asked about rip out of tile behind microwave in case we do this. We purchased 4 2x10 slabs of the quartz we loved (they had no 8ft at the time) and we decided to spend the extra $200 for 10ft to just get it done asap. We got a new sink, demo of our old tile counters, and install of the quartz on an island/creating a new breakfast bar + L shape counters. Installers (3 guys) came on time, worked hard and we're courteous enough to warn us how loud the demo of the old counters may be too loud for my 11 mo old baby. We were in the living room with her cartoons on during install but with his warning I was able to take her to the back room during demo so it didn't scare her. They brought blankets to cover floor for demo damage and dirt and taped up my kitchen with plastic sheeting to contain the dust. It took them from 11a - 6pm to finish everything as we hit some snags with us needing to go buy a new spicket for them to use for the wet saw but other than that it went great. From time of purchase we only had to wait 8 days for install day! The installers also made recommendations on overhangs, sink overhang, etc which was helpful. We asked if they could also remove our tile behind otr microwave as we just decided to take otr microwave down night before install and if it was extra cost since it doesn't affect counters we'd pay but they said nope it's flat fee we already paid, they'll do it. We also we're able to keep the kids extra quartz from the slab since we paid for the slab.. you've just got to ask the installer so they don't trash it. read more

We are very happy with granite outlet. They did a great job installing our new bathroom sinks and countertops. We are going to hire them to replace our counters in the kitchen. They cut the granite right in your front yard. They did a great job. We did the demolition and sink removal ourselves. Not easy would not try that ever again. Outstanding! Start to finish. First off, total price with install was $1,500 less than other quotes we received, and we got a lot of quotes. Based on this price difference, i was worried the quality would be lacking. Definitely not. Service at the warehouse was great. Workers were very patient while we asked them to move multiple pieces to match them. Installers showed up exactly at 10am, as promised. They originally thought it would take two days, including demo, finished in one day. They didn't try to add anything else onto the price like i had heard many other installers will do. Separated the construction area from rest of house so no dust went anywhere else. Cleaned so well afterward that it was almost cleaner than before they came! I just can't say enough great things about our experience. read more

My go-to place for granite... Decent selection and love the installers. But they're always 3-4 weeks out, so be sure to book as soon as you buy. Really knowledgeable and helpful estimators. read more

The price and selection is good, and the final product looked good. But, the installers added another $100 because it was an upstairs bathroom. I think each man had to walk upstairs 2 times, but whatever. Then, when I went to the driveway where they worked I found cigarette butts in several places, trash in the recylcing bin, and as annoying I had to pull sink parts out of the trash. Why on earth did they throw away sink parts that I had set aside for the plumber?? They wanted cash, but I don't carry around cash. read more

Cheap granite outlet in Sacramento for those doing a home renovation trying to get some good natural stone pieces for their homes. Slabs range in price and sizes, and not all designs are available in all sizes, so make sure to ask your contractor what you need before coming here. It's fun to browse and they have most slabs up on the walls for you to look at. They also have bathroom granite for showers. Easy with returns too, which is nice. read more

Do not buy anything at this store!! Go anywhere else!!! Worst customer service I've experienced in my life. Several other customers and myself were just kicked out of the warehouse (lights out) before they closed by a group of teenagers and smug individuals who were watching TV the whole time we were at the store. 10 minutes before they were scheduled to close they shut and roll down all the doors, turned off their TV, closed the register and as we attempted to continue to try to make a purchase that would have brought them over $7500 they told us they were now closed. They had just spent 5-10 minutes with us telling us every single slab we asked for was out of stock (even though the slabs were still displayed as available). They laughed at us and shut the door as they actually drove away leaving us unattended in their yard with all their inventory with the gate unlocked. I'm still in shock at what just happened. Unbelievable, I hope the owners read their company's reviews and do something with the people they have sabetoging their business. Check out the other reviews on google and Yelp; this isn't the only experience people have had like this here. read more

Granite Outlet - Very large selection. Beautiful pieces to choose from. - Building Supplies Near Me - Sacramento, California

This place was great. A large selection, great sale prices, and friendly and helpful staff. Good selection from island pieces to tub surrounds and everything in between. Everything was well labeled and priced which sometimes is not the case at granite places If you want help you have to ask at the counter which I much prefer over annoying sales people. But they are more than happy to answer any questions, give you prices, and load the granite into your truck. read more

Ok... I shopped around for Granite for a while. We looked at different places/slabs/fabricators etc. All over the place... a client recently told me to try granite outlet. So let me say this- IF you walk in this place with no measurements and no plan then you're going to have a bad experience. They don't come help you. They don't have much of a showroom. What they do have is a WHOLE lot of granite. They don't have slabs. It's all prefabricated. If you need a certain size in a color that you want and they don't have it in stock then you're out of luck. You'll need to select something else. We had a little bit of a fuss finding the color we wanted and they actually sent us down to this location from the Rancho Cordova location. I work in construction Consulting so I had all of my counters and measurement drawn up in CAD. They took the sheet from me and went to work. I have a LOT of counter space. Big kitchen. Built in desk in the kitchen. Laundry room. 2 bathrooms with double vanities. One bathroom with a single vanity. My master bath has a 10' counter. So they have you walk around the yard and actually select the slabs you want and they tag them for you. The price of the granite and install was literally half the price of pretty much everywhere else. Literally half. Took a month before they could install. The installers as do not speak great English but let me tell you THEY WORK THEIR ASSES OFF. They cut everything on your driveway. It's a mess but it's fabricated on-site. They were all very courteous and definitely know what they're doing. They were at my house until 9 pm working 2 nights in a row. They communicated all my options with me. They gave me a little discount for paying in all cash. We bought our sinks from them as well and they gave me 30% off the kitchen sink. In summary- if you know what you're doing and you go in prepared you will have a great experience with these folks. Customer service isn't bad - but it's no proactive. They were cool with me. If you're looking for someone to come to your house and measure and hold your hand then this is not the place for you. If you're like me and you can handle this kind of stuff then you'll be thrilled with the results. I'm in the middle of a complete remodel at my home and I can honestly say I'm thrilled with the granite. My wife is loving it. Again- I had quotes as high as 11 or 12k. This entire house was $5400 for the material and install. Check out the photos. It's a lot of granite and install for $5400. read more

This place hooked me up. I went with Granite Outlet to replace ugly 1972 green tiled counters and backsplashes in the kitchen and faded formica in the two bathrooms with granite--all for super cheap. I picked granite from their pink sheet of discount/clearance stuff. You save by buying from them direct and from using their super affordable installers. I'm giving them 5 stars because I would definitely use them again. I tried asking a cabinet company, but when I told them I was also getting an estimate from Granite Outlet, the guy said "Oh, we can't beat their prices." Now here's the downside. Very little English is spoken here. And the folks behind the counter that do speak it are used to dealing with contractors who already know the lingo. There's a huge communication gap. They have no idea how to talk to an average homeowner. Don't look to them for advice. And when I came the second time, finally ready to pick out materials, it took 1.5 hours and we were only HALF WAY DONE. So I told the lady, "Look, you've got all my info. Just call me when you're done and ready to draw up the papers." So much of the experience depends on who is helping you behind the counter that day. I recommend bringing in your cabinet door and somebody who is good at picking out colors (i.e. your wife). In the end, we went with cheap black and white granite to go with dark Kona stained cabinets and black appliances. We did top mount sinks (saves on cutting the holes), stainless double bowl sink in kitchen and porcelain in bathrooms. I also replaced the tile that went up the walls with granite up the walls. (The granite was so cheap, I figured, why not?) Their crew did all the demolition and installation in just two days. They sealed the counters and did a good job cleaning up too. Now it's my job now to install the new appliances, sinks, and faucets. Last tip: I got a discount with the installers when I paid cash instead of check. read more

Worst customer service imaginable...I'd give them negative 5 stars if I could...went to pick up my 5K worth of materials and was told I had to come back tomorrow..I drove 2hrs and their excuse was that they needed to verify any changes...what changes?? I paid in full and marked every item like I was advised 2 weeks ago..the ladies upfront raised their voices at me and told me to basically take a hike..they spoke rudely amongst them selves in front of my face in their native language..when I asked to Speak to a manager I was told in a sarcastic tone he was "unavailable" I hope this helps others in making their choice to do business with these crooks. read more

Had counters done from Mills St location. The price is good, but you get what you pay for. The customer service was far below our expectations, even for a price leader. The workmanship was inconsistent for their install subcontractor. The highly visible areas look mostly decent. A closer look where a backsplash meets the cupboards, the cuts were surprisingly wavy with some significant gaps. The sink they sold us had a broken inner plastic joint. The plumber couldn't notice until installed. G. O. wanted us to pay to have it uninstalled and drive 45 min there to review (despite my emailing pics) and then they would order the new parts. I'd have to then have a plumber come again weeks later to re-install. You'd think for the $1000's I'd spent they just send the parts that probably less than $50.00 for them. read more

My company ordered Quartz countertops and sinks for the bathrooms and kitchen here. We also ordered a glass shower door. It was a fine experience. They don't have a lot of Quartz options but they did have a wide selection of granite, which makes sense. The actual store is warehouse-style. No one really talks to you unless you specifically call someone over for questions. We actually ordered the countertops and sinks over the phone and paid via phone as well. We asked our handyman to pick up the products and that made it convenient for us. Customer service was fine. For the glass shower door, they had to order it from a different store as they didn't have it in stock (???) so our handyman had to go to the other store further away to pick it up. All in all, I would repurchase here if I'm looking for a fast, affordable transaction. read more

Miserable experience. They broke my granite when trying to cut it. Ok, that can happen, no one's fault. But rather than apologize for the delay and offer me something similar, they refused to replace it with their most similar piece saying it cost more. Offered me a $100 discount. What good is a discount on a broken piece of granite I can't use? Service was great until I paid my deposit, but after that, nothing but problems, delays and unanswered calls. We recently had our Kitchen remodeled. Our contractor recommend that we go here to find our granite slab for our counter top and Kitchen sink here. They did have a wide variety of granites to chose from but getting someone to help you was a pain in the behind. First of all, we were not greeted. It was a big warehouse so we had to navigate around ourselves to find things we need. finally, we have to just go up and grab somebody to help us because after standing by the register for about 10 minutes looking lost and confuse but they don't seem to care. We did end up buying granite from them and they price was OK. I was not satisfied with customer service here but I do love the granite counter top and my stainless Steele sink that I bought. Honesty if we could give negative starts I would have given this place a -5. To start off with Granite outlet didn't have the choices they had originally had on the wall marked "available". I had to keep going around picking different ones, so after my 5th choice they had a few slabs left in that shade. After I paid and picked an install date and waited 3 weeks, the company calls trying to tell me that the day didn't work for them and I needed to reschedule. When the workers FINALLY show up *1230ish* in the afternoon they were SO rude and not helpful. They left my house a complete mess SO DUSTY BOOT PINTS EVERYWHERE, left the toilet seat up and my hose in the front yard running. They finally finished after almost 11 hours of working. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

If I could give it less than one star, I would. But they did show up, so......First of all, you can't see the granite really good when you pick it out. They fan through it like cards so you can't get close enough to see the imperfections. And you feel like you need to hurry because you're taking up their time (you aren't allowed to fan through it yourself). Then you never hear from them again until they show up at your door (no calls to confirm that they're coming the next day and what time to expect them, even though it was set up several weeks before). Now they're there and and you have your new granite. After you've cleaned up the giant mess left behind (I know, this is a discount place so what can you expect!) and you clean up your granite, you see all the fissures and divots you couldn't see when you purchased it. At first I thought it was just dirty, but really?! I've never seen granite this bad! Like I said, it is discount so you really do get what you pay for! Buyer beware!! read more

Great deal on a precut bathroom vanity top and undermount sink package. We had great customer service at this location. We stopped by on a weekday after work when few people were in the store.
