I had my 45-year old old garage floor finished a couple of years ago by this company. (Keith McQuade). The contact with the company was very professional. They arrived on schedule and got to work and completed the work on schedule. Several cracks were filled and everything was smoothed perfectly. The floor looked terrific and several friends complimented how great it looked. I almost feel bad putting my winter-dirty car on the great floor! But it cleans up easily in the spring. Recently I moved an old cabinet and had two spots on the floor where the cabinet legs sat. I called Keith and asked about getting a bit of materials so I could fix the spots. Instead, he sent a truck out a few days later and patched the spots at no charge. You can't even tell where they were. I can't say enough about the excellent customer service and professional work. They came while we were out of town, laid down an optional cement moisture seal we requested, plus three layers of epoxy, decorative flakes, and clear rosin seal. We had a great experience with Granite Garage Floors and are happy to recommend them to others. Early on in the process, when we were just considering this project, we contacted Lauren. She was very helpful with guiding us through a virtual estimate with pictures and measurements.(saves money when they do not need to physically visit your site). She and Keith were receptive to working with us in Oxon Hill, almost an hour south of their office. They provided us a great slate of choices for the garage floor and we found their estimate to be very reasonable. It took us several months to decide if we wanted to go forward with the project; when we committed to it, Granite Garage Floors was great in honoring the initial estimate and Keith provided us some fantastic scheduling choices. We chose the earliest one, and the team arrived in one van on-schedule both days to conduct the work. Their team of two was very professional; no supervision or direct engagement was required (although I kept visiting the garage to admire their progress -- it really is transformative work to have your garage floor professionally treated). Payment and follow-on instructions for maintaining the floor were both smooth and professional transactions. Heading into the new year, we have a garage floor we are very proud to use and display (one of our neighbors walked over immediately after the work to admire it). What a great company! Reasonably priced, beautiful results. I think turning my crappy beat up garage floor into a beautiful new floor will more than pay for itself in resale value. Note that heavily cracked floors will need to be repaired before the process starts. This may require extra work and some extra cost. But the company was very fair to me about this. Fixing smaller hairline cracks is no big deal.and is included in the estimate. This is the first home improvement project I've done in the past 10 years that exceeded expectations.
