They supply hotels and restaurants as well as the public through their 3 shops (Vilanova, Castelldefels and Sitges), and they have a delivery service. (The Vilanova store is larger with a much better range than the other two stores.) It's unmissable with its chirpy flourescent orange, green and purple fascia. Prices are a little higher than the market, but their range is much larger - great for exotic fruit and different types of fresh mushrooms. They also have a limited range of preserved fruit and veg, and dried herbs and spices. The shops are open throughout the siesta. They have a wonderfully jolly and informative web-site, in Catalan, Spanish and English versions, with lots of photographs, vegetarian recipes, dietary information and details of what fruit and veg are available at any one time. Before you even fully walk into the store, stop for a glass of orxata and an ice cream. SO damn good. This Veritas is a bit larger than many and offers quite a nice variety of vegan/ vegetarian options. They also have a great selection of organic meats and fish, as well as some prepared foods. Like most organic markets, you pay for the quality of food, so while it's not cheap, it's not overpriced.

In general for rare, hard to find dry goods I like it, but it's very expensive (28 euros for 750ml of maple syrup; 13 euros for a tiny jar of cashew butter, etc), and the produce is pretty hit or miss. Almost everything in the refrigerated section looked tired and old. For produce/vegetables/fruit I prefer Casa Ametller, and there is one not too terribly far away.
