Love this park! The view is stunning!

Walter loves it here and I enjoy the scenery! What off leash parks do you recommend? We just moved away from our normal park.

This is such a great dog park and honestly it's in the name! Like what a view!!!!! It's very pretty during summer time and personally I love when there's still the morning mist. Everyone is so friendly and they know what to do on their part, so many sections to do maybe a playpen with smaller dogs which is so cute, I can also get my exercise too since they have hills and trails you can take and they have poopy bags everywhere which is such a plus since I tend to forget mine sometimes

The most amazing dog park I have EVER been to with the best views!!!! I didn't walk all of this park today and cannot wait to come back. There is rain water everywhere plus some city water areas. Trails to walk and a huge sandy area for training area and play. They have an agility course too! No stagnant water here that your pup can roll around and smell like a sewer like others in Tacoma. Its freaking amazing!

Great place to bring your furry friends. There's a large park that overlook the mountains and can see Mt Rainier on a clear day. A good sized parking lot and there you'll see the smaller dog park that they offer. They offer poop bags throughout the park in case you need one. Very popular for dog walkers and local families.

I have a husky and I bring her here all the time, came here today during the daylight hours. Was here for about 30m came back and realized my car got stolen. So many people were there and the parking lot was full o guess no one saw anybody that looked suspicious. Also who does these things at a dog park?! Funny this is there's a cop there posted on the exit and she was pretty useless. Make sure you lock your cars and do NOT leave anything visible. It's a great park but I do not think I will be bringing my husky here after this

This park was recommended by a friend in the area. After reading several reviews we decided to try it on a Sunday afternoon, when we knew there wouldn't be any doggy day care groups. Our dogs are learning socialization, so we weren't comfortable letting them off leash yet, but we may try after a few visits. We visited on a warm sunny day, so it was fairly crowded, but the park is large enough you can go to another area if it gets too crowded. There were plenty of walking trails, beautiful views and the agility course was really fun for our bully dog. It helped build up her confidence. Having a bully breed is sometimes difficult, as people have preconceived notions about their temperament, but we didn't find that the case here. She was sniffing out the golden doodles and labs and everyone seemed really chill about it (owners and dogs alike). There were several small dogs there but they seemed to uninterested in our dogs. The area is very nicely maintained and fenced, it felt really safe. As far as the broken into cars, we didn't see any issues while we were there. Don't leave valuables in your car, don't leave anything in sight. Park near the other cars. We can't wait to return with our pups!

This is my absolute favorite off-leash dog park. It's definitely a great place to bring your dog since it's so enormous and very well maintained! There are always a lot of dogs every time I come here, it's like this place is almost never empty. Which is great for people who want to socialize their dogs. The park has a lot of sections so you can find an area that fits best for your dog. This park has all the fundamental aspects that all dog parks should have. There are water features, agility equipment, waste pick-up stations, and a whole lot more. My dogs favorite part is the pond. It's not too deep and it's very safe for her to swim in. I would definitely recommend this dog park to anyone! We'll definitely be coming back here a lot this summer

You know you love your dog so much that the first thing you do after you arrive at the Seattle Airport is drive to a nearby dog park (and I am not ashamed to admit this). My husband and I came by this dog park last Tuesday morning around 11:15 am and were surprised to see a handful of people with their cute pups. This dog park is one of the largest parks that I have ever been to. After you park in the parking lot, you can walk down to the dog park. This dog park is an open space so there is no particular large or small dog part of the park. There is a gated trail that goes around the park though if you want to let your dog(s) run around. For the most part, the dog park is not shaded (only bits and pieces are). What I love best of this park is the agility course set up with a few jumps, ramps and tires for dogs to run through. Our little girl dog wasn't really interested, but it was fun to get her to try some of them. If you go and the dog park is empty, you and your little friends can still walk around the park, as it would be great exercise. If only this dog park existed where I live, I would come by here every single week with my dogs. Dogs in this part of Washington, you are just too lucky!

This is one of the most beautiful dog parks in the Seattle area. It is spacious and breathtaking. I don't know if I or my dogs enjoy out trips here more! It is beautifully maintained and run solely via donations and volunteers, so do consider making a donation from time to time if you enjoy it!

Stopped by on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I was so happy with how large the park was and parking. The views are alone worth it on a clear day. You can see the cascades and Rainer. Love it.

Off leash dog park with an agility course and view of Rainier. Great on a cool day. Not much shade.

I've been taking my Chihuahua"s here for over 10 years. I've also tried other dog parks but Grandview is by far the best. I recommend any dog size or breed to check out this park. The volunteers have did such a wonderful job updating everything and fencing the whole park off. The only thing that I suggest is that you don't leave valuables in your car or anything in site. As my car window was smashed and my 2 extra dog leashes we're stollen. Other than that this park is perfect for fur babies. I will continue taking my dogs here and recommend them to all my family and friends.

We arrived at 1:00 PM and found the last parking space available at the end of the furthest parking lot area. Took our time taking a stroll to the event, where the food vendors were on the grassy area. Saw some Laotian food - Hmong Sausage with Sticky Rice, Chicken Wings, Whole Chicken, Papaya Salad, Fried Banana, also saw that they had Thai Iced Tea, Thai Iced Coffee, Lemonade flavors, Sandwiches, and Grilled Pork. We walked to the other side where they had a stage where they were having some dancing, live music and speeches. In addition, there were accessories, and clothing/apparel vendors who were lined up on the other side. First part of the Review is for the Cambodian event, which was a 4 out of 5. ------ The Park itself was easy to navigate around. Parking seemed self-explanatory, even though it was fully packed. There were clear signs of what was required of the State Park. You had to enter with a Discovery Pass or a National Park Pass at the Gate/Entrance. Walked around the beach area until the end of the trail where they had Private Property. Took some pictures and scenic videos of the water and scintillating viewpoints. It was a pretty short stroll after eating our lunch. But overall an enjoyable experience. Would like to visit again even without an event going on... Review of the Park - 4 out of 5.

Which was perfect for exploring the beach. Fun to see all the shells and things that are normally under water. Please tu of picnic areas for larger groups too. The creek trail was closed from one side but when exploring discovered a fallen tree. Easily able to navigate over the log. See my photo. I'm sure at high tide the beach area decreases but it's all beautiful. The creek trail is short. Under two miles. Discovery pass required. Get out there! Enjoy your life! SYOY!
