I am terrified of dentists, having had a couple from Little Shop of Horrors wreak havoc in my mouth a few decades ago, I avoid them like the plague. I finally was in enough pain that I decided it was equal to the pain a dentist could inflict so I may as well get the problem cut out. Dr Amy came up with a game plan to save my teeth, and I had my first double root canal and crowns. Here is where it gets interesting: No pain. Zip, zilch, zero, nada. And my crowns fit PERFECTLY! We also ran into a series of unfortunate events, mixups, inaccuracies, and fiascos with our insurance, but the staff (Bacardi, the insurance whisperer, is amazing!) did a great job fixing the snafus. The chair was not attached to the floor and upon further inspection it was noted that they had used tissue paper to level it out. This incident occurred in the last quarter of 2025. He has a date-time cell phone picture to prove the chair turned over status and tissue paper fix. My husbands ribs and side were bruised from the incident. He showed his primary care doctor after telling him what happened, the following day. We are not the sueing type of people. But this was gross neglience on their part knowing that the chair was not secured to the floor. I will not recommend this dental office to any one in the future. They were friendly people but the quality of overall care was deminished by the accident. The staff apologized, but still billed our insurance for the visit.

Been going here for 5 years at the request of my mom. My mom quit going here because they made…read moremistakes on her husbands bottom teeth and refused to correct their mistakes. I quit going here because I had a crown that was damaged but not causing me any problems but I wanted it replaced before it started giving me problems. To make a long story short, the Hispanic female dentist who was in charge of the new crown didn't do her job. The crown did not fit and the sensitivity to cold is getting worse, meaning there are gaps in the tooth stub and the crown fitting. She got it wrong. Various follow-ups to correct the situation did not help. The last time I was in for a tooth cleaning, the male dentist put temporary numbing gel on the tooth and never offered anything else to rectify the issue. My next steps are to file a complaint with the state dental regulators and find another dentist and spend another 1k to get the job done correctly. Avoid these people at all costs.

My family has gotten 6 month check-ups for over a decade and we've moved a few times so we've been through several practices - good ones and scammy ones. We had a great doctor for the last few years before this last move and we've all had healthy mouths. We're well aware of our preexisting conditions and patterns so when we went to a local dentist in our new city and were told we needed a total of about $10,000 worth of treatment (AFTER insurance!), I knew we were at the wrong office. He was recommending treatment - some quite extreme - for 5 out of the 5 people in my family. I went on the hunt for a private practice (avoiding chains) and it was hard to find someone that would take our insurance, or they'd tell us that they could only let us know the day before our appointment. I scheduled one of those as backup, but Lifeway informed us right away (thank you!). When the backup dentist called the day before our appointment and told us that they didn't take our insurance but we were welcome to pay out of network fees, I told them no thank you. At this point, Lifeway was my last hope, aside from driving far away. Dr. Patel was very patient working with our concerns about being taken advantage of. My husband was able to talk personally with her in a separate visit before committing and she was accommodating and candid. Everyone in the office was helpful all the way from booking to visits (and I ask A LOT of questions!). Beverly, the hygienist, gave me the gentlest cleaning I have ever had. Really, it was almost like a spa treatment! I didn't even need to wear my headphones and go to my happy place. And finally, Dr. Patel didn't invent any "necessary treatments" or overreact to some preexisting issues that my previous dentist was keeping an eye on. I know we'll have some treatments coming up, and I am fine with that as long as they're necessary and I have a dentist I can both trust and talk to. Being personable and gentle are a huge plus, especially with my autistic son coming in next. Dr. Patel has a playful demeanor and I love that too (I saw one reviewer be rather insulting about that - thank God she hasn't lost her spunk!). I appreciate that she's young (I think that was the same reviewer). I started my own business at 26 and was well-educated and equipped, which I can honestly say 16 years later. If you're looking for stuffy and prim, then maybe this place isn't for you. ;) We, however, will all be back for years to come. Thank you!

I decided to seek a second opinion, and I am SO glad I did! I ended up only having two cavities, so you can imagine the drastic cost decrease. The office staff is very friendly and prompt, making you feel like you are the #1 concern when you're there.
