Pitching machines are available and prices are affordable compared to similar cages - really great to have batting cages available in the Flushing area. Individualized baseball lessons are also available with Coach Pablo - he's coached for the EEP Bandits travel team. Doc Gooden event was great - he gave a pep talk to the children about friendships and the importance of having fun. It was originally going to be a pitching clinic, but the event was tweaked a bit and Doc ended up throwing batting practice to all the children. I guess my son can say Doc Gooden threw BP to him. Afterwards everyone lined up for autographs and we were able to get a baseball and baseball card signed. I will definitely be returning to Game 162 for their batting cages and I hope they continue to do signings with other baseball players.

When I was younger I used to come for team practices and use the machines and other nets for front toss. Now, I use the cages during the winter to hit off the tee and get some front toss so the cages really do their purpose for me. They have tees and bats to borrow if you want to come here with some friends for something fun to do. The staff is really nice and the rates for 15, 30, and 60 minutes are pretty reasonable (as shown in one of my pictures). To pay, however, it is CASH ONLY. My friend and I didn't know this prior to renting the cage, we were lucky we had enough cash! The good thing is is that they have an ATM by the front. Also, since there is a limited amount of cages I would recommend to call in advance.

They have different coaches all well trained and highly experienced in the baseball fields. You can also join a club and take classes to better your self. The place itself is very spacious it has a section for exersice lift weights as well do yoga and many more. They also have a store up stairs with custom made bats and gloves and other accessories that will come in handy as a baseball player. They also have a section with water, Powerade and Gatorade plus other sweet snacks that will get you going. If you need to find a trainer for your self, a coach, or want to join a baseball team you should come here they train all ages. What a great gym! This multi-story, luxury gym is really nice and certainly a place to check out…read moreIMHO. The equipment is great, the facilities are great, the amenities are great, the group exercise classes are great.... the indoor tennis courts... the golf practice area... I could go on and on, really. Some of my favorite aspects include: - The Fitness Equipment: TCR has cardio machines (elliptical, treadmill, bikes, etc.), nautilus equipment, free weights, a Smith machine, TRX, etc. You name it, they have it. They even have a recumbent bike that has video games integrated into it. So, as you are riding the bike, you can pretend that you are rolling along in your own "shot 'em up" style game. Very cool. -The pool: The pool itself is huge and multi-lane. It even opens up to a large deck for getting some sun or hitting up their pool bar and grill. Oh, and they have Happy Hours on the deck on Fridays during the summer! -The group exercise classes: TCR offers Les Mills classes and other great strength, cardio, cycle, and "mind, body, spirit" classes. There is definitely something for everyone. -The staff: Wow! The staff at TCR are all so nice and knowledgeable. Kudos to the management for excellent recruiting and training!
