The store is laid out so beautifully and fits a very clean and warm aesthetic. The staff is somehow even warmer and kinder. We were introduced to the history of the business, learned about sourcing, and flavors. I loved the flavor combinations and usage of local ingredients. I got a caramel popcorn that was PHENOMENAL and would definitely go back again soon. I think it's a really great place for a gift or a fun addition to a charcuterie board.

As soon as you walk in, you know this humble shop is a family owned enterprise! There's always at least one of the owners' children helping out and the very friendly Robinsons are happy to see you and give you some samples. They've been here a few months and if you ask me, the key to their success so far is that delicious popcorn!!! Our favorite is "charamel" which is a caramel cheese mix with both flavors on 1 kernel- like a caramelized cheese corn!! Sounds weird at first but it's addictive! They of course have other flavors and appear to roll out new concoctions from time to time. Just tried their jala-ring charamel, which is their charamel with a zip of jalapeno flavor! They also have a drink cooler and sell sizes from a small individual bag to a massive jumbo bag. I saw over the holidays they did tins too. Their prices are extremely reasonable. This is a great place to stop in for an inexpensive snack or treat or to pick up a gift. I hope this business keeps going and growing! If you're in the area, it's a must stop... but be careful because once you try it, you'll be unable to go down 28th street without popping in!

If you have not been downtown in awhile, I highly suggest going down there to get some popcorn and see the skeletons during October and helping out other local businesses!

I've been getting a bag of Mosby's popcorn at every event at Van Andel for the past year or so (including multiple volleyball games, basketball games, hockey games, and concerts). It's more expensive than the generic stuff (don't get me wrong, I also love that kind), but it's so worth it. You can choose from several different flavors, but my go-to is the butter. We have recently been adding some hot cheeto flavor too, which is very fun. I prefer savory popcorn, so I can't comment on any of the sweet options, but the popcorn is always crispy and flavorful. I love being able to support this locally owned small business at events downtown. They also have a storefront right on Ionia. If you love popcorn or need a gift idea, definitely check out Mosby's!

The recipes have been updated and the cheddar popcorn I tried was absolutely divine. The cheese flavor is strong and savory, without tasting fake. I can't wait to try more flavors. The popcorn was crisp and fresh, and not at all stale. I also had the GR mix, which is white cheddar and caramel - super delicious. The caramel isn't the super crispy coating you might be used to but I think it's because they don't use high fructose corn syrup. You can tell it's real brown sugar. They also introduced some more products for sale, including popcorn making supplies, local snacks, and gifts. It's definitely a one stop shop if you need a gift for a food lover! The bags of popcorn come in varying sizes, with the smallest bags starting at around $6. They also installed a Brix soda fountain option so I tried the pomegranate lemonade, which was perfectly sweet and lightly carbonated. Service by Pepper was incredible - so sweet and kind. I will definitely be stopping by for more popcorn again soon!

Everything is nicely packaged and labeled with ingredients. The popcorn, available in both sweet and savory flavors, tastes great--much better than that break-your-teeth stuff you can buy in bulk at the grocery store.
