We asked about Keto options and the woman told us there's roughly 12-18 grams per shake. So no matter what size or flavor? She was more interested in selling me her Herbalife on the side and creating a meal plan for me than just allowing me to order and enjoy my shake. I am not a fan of Boba tea, so was happy with my coffee. I don't get to Platte City often, but this is a place I will return.

First off, they welcomed us in right before closing (lifesavers ) and still took the time to offer us a sample of their signature red hibiscus tea--made with real tea leaves and sweetened with agave. So refreshing, so naturally sweet, so... addictive?? (in the best way). I ordered the Orange-Licious smoothie, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype--creamy, citrusy, and packed with flavor, not fillers. They also had homemade organic protein bars that were gluten-free, vegan, and somehow still tasted like a treat, not a compromise. Plus, they've got fresh-squeezed juices, dairy-free options, and all the plant-based goodies your health-conscious heart could want. Bonus points for the cozy seating and the adorable kids' play area in the back--perfect for families or anyone needing a moment of zen while sipping a shake. Above all, they serve healthy food that you can really feel good about eating. I bought two wraps to take with me - they were generously sized and absolutely delicious. The environment is warm, welcoming, and comfortable. They have free Wi-Fi, comfy couches, and nice areas to study (#CGSC). There is a part of the place that is dedicated to biohacking of some sort, but even if that isn't your thing - don't miss out on the fresh, healthy, delicious fod and drinks. They're well worth it.

I wanted something healthy before getting on a plane back to Los Angeles, so Patima assisted me I grabbed a peanut butter açaí bowl. Perfect way to start the day and fly out of Kansas City. The staff were fast, kind, and helpful. She packed the bowl just the way I like it. Here is the real test. I accidentally dropped the bowl on the floor so hard that the people behind me actually screamed. It hit the ground, bounced, and did not open. Nothing spilled. That is how well she sealed it. I decided right then they were getting an extra star just for that. Thank you Patima for packing and sealing this for me. I got on the plane, ate my bowl on the way back to LA, and felt great. For the service, the healthy option, and the quality of how it was put together, I am giving this Smoothie King 5 stars, or better yet, 5 açaí bowls out of 5.

I must say from the time we pulled into the parking lot, right up to the front door I was traumatized! I was extremely hesitant and wanted to leave and return another day because there were a gazillion kids outside of the smoothie shoppe and the inside was just as overloaded! Omgudness! What In THE World was going on??? I'd never seen anything like it. I guess the adult there could see utter fright on my face & he assuredly let me know that the kids were alright & had each been treated to a smoothie & the last of the large group was on their way out. Whew! What a relief that was. Not to be mistaken, I had no fear of the kids themselves, but thought, "we'll never get a smoothie with this crowd." As we meandered through the masses & made our way in, the staff seemed to handle the group very well and soon they were all given their smoothies and out the door they went! Thank GOD! I began reading the detailed menu & asking questions as I read. There seemed to be a smoothie for any & everything imaginable which I found impressive. I'd much rather have more than enough choices than too few. The owner & staff were extremely knowledgeable & explained so many different health/medicinal benefits. I was certainly being educated on all the herbs, vegetables & other content & how each worked with this or that. I even received a lesson on water that was sold there which was right up my alley. There was also literature handy on healthy eating, getting fit & tips on the role that smoothies played in overall wellness. The owner as well as his staff were personable, appreciative of our business & very knowledgeable with each inquiry & oh so patient. The owner shared his personal experience of how he selected each smoothie based upon what his body needed & even let me in on his daily workout routine & things that he did to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The ingredients were displayed in such a pristine fashion & were very fresh. The appearance of this C's Sensational Smoothies was nice, neat, clean & inviting. This spot is definitely worth the trip & I wish nothing but the best & continued success that exceeds its expectations. Thanks for caring enough to bring a quality smoothie shoppe to the Kansas City, Kansas area. Much appreciated & much needed!
