I saw many patrons coming in and filling a plate for take-out, and I think I will try that as well. Service was friendly, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The interior is a bit run down, but the overall atmosphere is comfortable. There are two entrances - one facing the street and one in the back - so there are plenty of places to park. My only real heartburn is that there is an aquarium with several fish that are way too large to be in it. The poor fish didn't have room to even move. I hope China Buffet sticks around, because it's a great place to satisfy a Chinese food craving without breaking the budget, right here in Hibbing!

Today, I had the chef special that included "rau muong" stir fried with garlic. Soooooo delish. The leafy portion was soft and melted like butter while the stalk had a perfect snap with every bite. I also had the fried rice which was cooked to perfection. I was worried it may not have enough flavor but after I spooned my first mouthful, I got drop kicked with savoriness and goodness that I can't describe. The rice wasn't over cooked, which for me is huge. I hate eating extremely dry fried rice because it take all the flavor away. The soup was also done with precision. Egg drop soup was so robust with flavor, I actually asked for seconds for my appetizer. Our waitress's name was Jessica and Rose and were a dolls. They both were courteous, friendly, and amazing. My beverage was always full and their service was superb. Also noted was how the restaurant was extremely clean. No overly insulting odors and the bathroom was pleasant. It was quite good, though a little heavy on the salt, which I suspect was the MSG, and not quite enough true mushroom flavor. But after a long day mountain biking, it was really a great meal. I think that this restaurant is really a great addition to what Crosby has to offer. I would highly recommend for meat, eaters and vegetarian folks alike.
