Rv sites are BEAUTIFUL! Big, spaced out, level spots with fire and BBQ pits at your site. Literally my favorite RV Park in all of Louisiana.

I travel a lot for work, including numerous in-state travel days a year. I often find myself in this class of hotel since only larger cities have higher tier hotels. My requirements for hotels in this tier are that they are clean, quiet, have friendly staff, and are convenient to the highway. A decent free breakfast is lagniappe. This location hits most of those pretty solidly. I arrived late in the afternoon and had to leave pretty early, so my stay was limited. My room was large and comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, minus flat pillows (why oh why do hotels have trash pillows). The staff was friendly, although my interaction was limited to check in. The room was a little louder than I am accustomed to, but it was a first floor, parking lot adjacent room, which may have been to blame. I slept well, and the breakfast was decent, but since it was free, it added a couple of points. If you are looking for this type of hotel along your journey, this is a good place to pick.

Fairfield Inn & Suites was the perfect place to stay for a 1 night stay…read more Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice "welcome" bag with 1 bottle of water, and a few different choice of snacks which were perfect for a late night snack. Our room was on the 1st floor, which is usually a problem as we don't like to hear people walking above us but the ceiling was really high and we did NOT hear any noise. The bathroom in our room had a nice large walk in shower. There was a pony wall separating the toilet and the sink area. The room was nice and cool as we were able to set the temperature in the room down to 62F, perfect for sleeping. Parking is free and they have a large lot. Free breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt etc. This hotel is older and in need of some repairs but overall I do recommend it.

The customer service I received was genuine and friendly (Housekeeping, Security, and the Desk Receptionists). The South Tower Rooms are older, but the restrooms were fairly in better shape. I had co-workers stay in the North Tower, and stated the rooms were refurbished and nicer. I didn't gamble or use the slot machines, but the scenery looked good from what I saw. I'd recommend this location for leisure, work functions, and just a place to visit!

Google Hotel was not what I expected as quality grade. Check…read morein went smooth but when arriving at my room things went downhill fast! Room was not very inviting and was somewhat outdated. Air conditioning was mounted under windows and verrry noisy. Pillows were small for a king size bed. Wall recepticals loose and plugs falling out. Refrigerator sat on the soft padded bench instead of in cabinet where it belongs, that's a fire hazard. Bathroom was a complete catastrophe, the shower had no light in it and had to shower by a light recessed in ceiling 5 feet away. Soap dispenser in shower didn't work probably empty! Had to shower with shampoo. Water temp was barely warm enough to shower. We ate at Roxy's diner in casino and the food was horrible. Wife was complaining of stomach issues. Fried fish was super salty and muddy tasting. Onion rings were under cooked and was just a mess of under cooked batter. Casino was like a ghost town and machines not paying at all. Overall experience was underwhelming by far. Probably will never return!

My stay at Budget Inn was a terrible experience. The room was extremely dirty and had a strong,…read moreunpleasant smell as soon as I walked in. I actually brought my own sheets, blanket, and pillow because I had a feeling the place wouldn't be clean--and unfortunately I was right. I've stayed in a lot of budget hotels before, but this one was by far the worst. What made the experience even worse was being falsely accused of stealing pillows. The owner charged me $50 claiming that he saw me take pillows on the camera. That is completely untrue. I brought my own bedding with me and never took anything from the room. Being accused of theft when I specifically brought my own items because the place was dirty is unacceptable. When I called to question the charge, the owner told me he had filed a police report. I contacted the Jonesboro Police Station myself, and they told me there was no report, which means he lied about that as well. The service was awful, the room was filthy, and the whole situation was handled very poorly. I would strongly advise travelers--especially anglers passing through--not to stay at this inn. There are definitely better and more honest places to spend your money.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The hotel management is extremely rude. Down right mean…read more They speak to individuals with little to no respect. If anyone ever has to reside in this town please don't waste you time and money at this hotel.

We come to Lufkin 2x/year for gymnastics meets. This place is the best one we've stayed at so far…read more Prices are more reasonable than some of the other ones. The staff are nice. There's fresh-fruit-flavored cold water, big chocolate chip cookies, and a cappuccino machine by check in counter. The reception area, hallways, & bedrooms are clean. The only drawback is the small gym with limited equipment & no hand weights. You can do cardio, but impossible to do proper strength training with what they have. We had 2-queen bedrooms. NO CONNECTING ROOMs, although it's noted to be available online. Our bedroom & bathroom were reasonably spacious & stocked with basic toiletries. We really liked the breakfast options. Although the dining room is small, they have more variety of breakfast totems than most places (even the more expensive ones). Here are the list of their breakfast choices: - hot items: pancake-covered sausage on a stick, scrambled eggs, mini sausages, biscuit & gravy, Texas-shaped Belgian waffle (you make it on site with a waffle maker) - continental: bread, bagels, prepackaged cinnamon rolls, prepackaged cheese pastry, breakfast bars, prepackaged blueberry muffins. - fresh fruit: apples, clementines, bananas, blueberries - others: yogurt, oatmeal, 3 types of cereals, peanut butter, jellies, chocolate chips, butter - drinks: coffee, milk, non-dairy milk, OJ, apple juice.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms. I would stay here again. Enjoyed the 2 bedroom feature.read more

The new owners are inviting, friendly and fun and I couldn't be more pleased with our stay here. This hotel is for the one who wants to experience something that goes beyond the norm.. the laid back atmosphere despite being completely unconventional makes you feel like you are at home away from home. Pam and Jeromy go to great extents to make certain you are happy and comfortable during your stay. I couldn't get enough of this hotel! Every where we walked there was something new to see! I must have walked through 5 times and each time I saw something new and different! Additionally there is a story to almost every piece that the couple has collected and strategically placed in the hotel! Our stay put us here on New Years Eve in which we were delighted to learn there was a small NYE party in the Ballroom and it was a BLAST! Jeromy is a man of many gifts and talents and personally DJ'd the entire event! The music was fantastic and appealed to the the variety of people that were staying at the hotel this weekend! This couple has an amazing energy that makes everything they do FUN!! SO moving along to our accommodations- We stayed in two rooms as we wanted to experience more then one of the uniquely themed rooms, both were fabulous! The TV in the rooms include a smart TV so there are plenty of viewing options, the linens were crisp and clean, and the hot water was hot! The beds were very comfortable and despite the claims of ghosts and spirits that linger about this known haunted hotel we slept wonderful!!! The first night we stayed in the circus room there were clowns and vintage memorabilia it was bright and fun and maybe a bit creepy but we enjoyed it! The second night we stayed downstairs in a more traditional room it had a Victorian feel and was warm and cozy! Pam greeted us with a smile and made sure we enjoyed our stay when we checked out. I also want to mention that the hotel is conveniently located directly across from a wonderful little coffee shop and a scenic nature trail, so upon waking we partook in lattes and a quaint little walk. The town of Jefferson is a historical town with colonial and Victorian homes a general store and several neat little antique and other shops to visit so much to do and see during the day on your visit. I highly recommend you visit this hotel if you are looking for a fun, interesting and unique experience! It will make for a fun little weekend adventure! Although we didn't participate in the ghost tour or the "disappointments room" we heard much chatter of it and may have to see what it's all about on our next visit! Hoping that to be MARDI GRAS! I will mention that they book up fast so if your interested in visiting near a holiday or special event reserve your room early! Thank you Pam and Jeromy for giving us memorable experience going into 2021!
