Frank's Painting - Elegant staircase

Frank's Painting

(108 reviews)

I am DIYer and it is difficult for me to hire and feel comfortable with anyone but myself as I have…read morehigh expectations. I was very comfortable working with Frank and his crew. Alfredo (Foreman) and his assistant were a pleasure; very neat and courteous. Prior to contacting Frank's, the stain on the deck was peeling off in sheets. I contemplated replacing the deck surface with laminated faux wood boards. Frank convinced me that his crew could bring the deck back to life by scraping, sanding, priming and staining over a few good weather days. The price was fair and Frank was right. They brought the deck back to life for many more years of pleasure at a fraction of what it would have cost to replace. Frank's Painting delivered as promised, I would hire them again for any future painting projects and recommend them to friends and family.

We've used Frank's Painting for several drywall finishing, painting and trim projects. Bathroom,…read moreliving room, dining room, kitchen. The finish and attention to detail remained high across every single project. Frank's just completed spackling, skim coating and painting the stair risers to our 2nd floor after we separately ripped out old carpeting and refinished the treads. Frank's also trimmed out areas that were badly pocked from many years of rugs and staple holes. Looks like new, thanks to Alphonso. Every project was neat, completed on schedule and budget. Couldn't be happier, and they're wonderful to work with.

Had a very positive experience with Precision Painting. The process was smooth and efficient from…read morethe onset, and they did everything they said they'd do, on schedule. And the house looks great!

Think twice before hiring them, especially if your project manager is Joe Arevalo. By far the worst…read moreexperience with painters in my life. Read every negative review they have and you will see that most of the 5 star reviews seem fake. The only reason I chose to go with them is because he said they could get the job done (deck painting) in 2-3 days (had it in the contract). They powerwashed the first day. Sanded and put the primer on the second day. This is where everything went south. The next day, they were supposed to do the first coat of paint, Joe said his guy will be there in the afternoon, the guy never showed up, even after I followed up with Joe multiple times alerting him the guy wasn't here. Extremely unprofessional part 1. Next afternoon, guy shows up, supposedly puts the first coat of paint on. He leaves my house without even alerting me he's done and asking me to check. After he leaves I noticed he missed a lot of spots. Spots that didn't even have primer on it, let alone a first coat of paint. I sent the photos to Joe and instead of acknowledging the situation and looking at the evidence, he accuses me of lying and trying to scam them out of 3 coats of paint instead of 2... I'm attaching the photos so you can see there was CLEARLY zero primer or first coat of paint, but since his guy said he did it, he accused me, the customer, of trying to scam him. The next day since the original painter was busy, he sent someone named Franklin to finish the job. This was the only saving grace of the whole experience, Franklin was a true professional and actually cared about my needs and made sure he did a good job. He should leave this god awful company, they don't deserve him. So Franklin assured me he would fix the other guys' errors, he called Joe to let him know I wasn't lying and guess what? Zero apologies from Joe. They needed another day of painting because of the first guy's mistakes and Joe decided to come to my house on that day to make sure they got paid. He tried shaking my hand, I refused and I told him I didn't appreciate him insinuating that I was a liar and was trying to rip them off for an extra coat of paint. Only then did he try and apologize. His excuse was that he deals with "terrible customers" on a daily basis that try and take advantage of them etc... Maybe it's because he is terrible at being a professional. Stay far away from this company, they weren't even the cheapest option
