There were no stains but the stench was foul. I tried rinsing it myself and using some vinegar but it just wasn't cutting it. I found this place on Yelp. I called and was quoted $12. That sounded more than fair so I dropped it off. Nice facility and even nicer staff. They said it would be ready by Wednesday night with a possibility of it being ready on Tuesday. I wasn't in a rush for it and I let them know this. I called on Tuesday and was told it wasn't ready yet and would be ready Wednesday. A few hours later in the evening, they called and let me know that it would be ready for pickup in the morning. I thought it was very considerate of them to call and confirm this. Many businesses don't take the time to call their customers with updates. I picked it up on Wednesday morning. I truly expected there to be a lingering smell--it was that bad. I shoved my face all the way into the bottom of the bag and sniffed. I continued sniffing like a hound dog but only smelled a faint fragrance from whatever they used to clean it. I was stunned! I told them I was only worried about the smell but they made it look brand new again. Then, to top it off, when the guy rang up my ticket, it was only $10!!! My only regret is not having cash for a tip and no option to leave one on the ticket. I highly recommend these guys. They know what they're doing and take pride in their work. I hope I don't need to use them again but if I need any sort of dry cleaning done, I will go directly here.

What I got back was a ruined garment: the once-fluffy gold velvet is now matted and irregular, with clearly defined, uneven demarcations from what looks like improper heat treatment or pressing. The once-luxurious texture is flattened in large patches, making it unwearable and impossible to restore. The damage is consistent with the appearance of velvet that was heated or treated with chemicals improperly. I explained the issue to the owner, who argued with me that there is no damage. He even tried to claim it is the lighting and talk me out of my damage claim. He offered no acknowledgement of their error, no apology and would only refund my dry-cleaning costs if I signed a waiver of my right to pursue damages. Further, he threatened to sue me for slander if I posted evidence of their damage to my velvet garment online. This isn't just extremely poor service; it's negligence that has cost me hundreds of dollars. Do not trust them with anything valuable or delicate. I found the owner to be dishonest and manipulative. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and warning others to do the same.

The Good. This place…read moreSAVED my life! Okay, I'm exaggerating...but I absolutely LOVE this place! I've never used a Drop-off Service before and I'm completely spoiled rotten by it, now. I moved into a Townhouse without hookups so I had to give up my washer and dryer. I was pretty bummed that I would have to add a Laundry Bill to my expenses but what the Fork was I complaining about?! You drop off your overloaded baskets, and a few hours later they're magically washed, dried, and folded for you (Even hung up if you use hangers)! Don't even get me started on the staff...my first time there, they made me feel so comfortable-as if I was at my moms house visiting. They're always so cheerful and they try to know their customers by name. That goes a long way when it comes to customer service. They even have a Customer Appreciation card and when you fill it up, you get 25% off of your Wash-Dry-Fold service (what I use) OR if you want to do the laundry yourself, you can earn free drying! I've never been to another laundry mat like this before. Simply Amazing! The bad. Their parking lot sucks if you drive a large vehicle. It's do-able...just need some quick planning before you pull in. ;) PS: I've posted some pictures! PSS: I dropped off the mother of all loads of laundry- 1 comforter KING, 2 quilts, 1 set of sheets, 6 pillow cases, AND my load of laundry = about $45. SHOCKING! I paid that at another place in Deland JUST for the blankets! I can't get over what a good deal that was! PSSS (can I do that many "s"s?) They charge by weight of the clothes (minus the laundry basket of course) which turns out to be as much as (if not a little more-but not much more) than doing it yourself. I say, let them do it! YAY FREE TIME!

I've been to most of the laundromats between port orange and beachside ormond looking for the best…read moreone and this is the worst so far. The washers are more expensive than anywhere else just to start out with. To add to that, they charge extra for hot water. Then they charge extra for a "prewash", $1.25 extra which would bring it up to $10.25 for a wash I can get down the road, with hot water, for 8 minutes longer for 8.50. Then on to the dryers. Instead of 8 minutes like most places, they only give 4 minutes for each quarter. After splitting my load and giving each dryer 1.50 on high, my clothes still aren't dry. Apparently their "high" setting is everyone else's low setting. All told, I ended up spending $16.00 to wash and dry my clothes and my jeans and towels were still wet after spending 25 minutes in their dryers, 15 of which was alone with only 3 pairs of jeans and two towels. What a rip off! Considering I could get all my clothes both clean and actually dry completely for $9.50 to $10.00 anywhere else and they would wash longer and dry faster this will be my first and last trip here ever. This is, functionally at least, the worst laundromat in eastern Volusia county (ormond, Daytona beach and port orange). I would suggest going anywhere else in terms of both cost and time. There is a reason this place is "not busy" aka desolate. It's because it's the worst spot in the area. Greed is clearly a higher priority than functionality. It's no wonder the locals know to stay away. I guess I do too now

I'm sure they have some fabric softener available to but I didn't need any. If you find you are missing a sock when you get home, don't despair. !!!!!Spin city ripped me off consistently for a whole year before I noticed!!!!!!…read moreDon't let them do the same to you. I have gone there for about a year. Considering that the price is negligible, I never checked my bank when I went there. Today I learned that they count on that and it's my intention to stop it through whatever channels are necessary. These people stole from me and they should pay just like any other thief. Let's use today for an example. Today, I went and washed and dryed my clothes. The machines told me it would cost $7.00 for the wash and $2.00 for the dry. I went to my banks app and found out it was actually $12.00 for the wash and $4.00 for the dry. That's a small but proportionally large example of them stealing from me. There were no signs saying it would cost more or that there would be any fee and there was no separated fee. Just charges to my bank account that.m were higher than what I was I told which is, by definition, stealing or "fraud" which is how I will write it in my report. The point is, don't go to spin city if you don't want them to steal from you because they will. If you don't believe me, go there, use your card and then look at your account. If enough people did that and realized they were getting ripped off, we could solve this problem as a community. I'm all about supporting small businesses but I'm also all about exposing thieves who steal from me. If I'm effective, this review will be outdated. If I'm not, you're being ripped off by Spin City laundromat. Maybe they are using some loophole I'm not aware of but if I can prove fraud, this will stop.
