We also almost always get our mulch here. Most recently I came here for a hex wrench set. Once when my car key fob wasn't working I came here for a battery change and actually had one of the workers do it for me. That was so nice because I don't know that I would've had the tools to do it myself. I have also bought paint, paint supplies, tarps, and things for my dog. Ace Hardware is a place to get information on how to fix things too. It's always our first stop for home improvement.

This place has all the lawn care goodies one could think of. All were sold to me by "John." Stihl products have to be purchased from an independent dealer, but you can buy Honda mowers/snow throwers at Home Depot. What's nice about buying from places like Anderson is that they don't just give you your stuff in a box. They assemble it, add oil and fuel, and show you how to operate it. That alone is worth it. They are also very knowledgeable about the product lines they sell, whereas an employee at a "big box" store may not be. They also take care of registering your equipment for warranty purposes when you buy something. As of right now, I don't need anything else. Should I need a Honda Generator or some other piece of equipment, I will buy from Anderson Industrial Engines again.

(Actually its Michael Todd & Co.) After the last heavy heavy snow here in Omaha last week, it was…read moretime for me to install tire chains on my snow blower. I started out looking for the chains at Tractor supply where the salesman told me they would fit my Troy Bilt for sure. I got them home and they looked more like they would fit on a small garden tractor tire. I even had a picture of the very weird size (4.80-8). When I was taking them back to the Tractor Supply store, I remembered there was a small engine shop on the way so I stopped there. The clerk there, told me he didn't have anything, but referred me to Northern Tool. I decided on Lowes instead because I purchased the snowblower there and they would have to have them, I thought. Well, I thought wrong and the guy there referred me to Ty's Outdoor Power, who then referred me to Midwest Tire, who then referred me to Michael Todd and Co. I thought when I walked into the building that I had to be in the wrong place because it looked more like a law office when I headed upstairs to where the arrows pointed. I proceeded into an office and a lady ushered me to the person that knew about chains. A few minutes later I met this wonderful wonderful lady named Pat Sammon who instantly pulled up the tire size from her catalog and wrote everything I needed down on a name card she gave me. As I thanked her and headed out the door and down the stairs, I stopped and thought "what are you doing stupid? You've been all over town and this lady found your chains, go order them". Needless to say, Pat is having them shipped to my home and after running all over town searching for tire chains, this lady has a customer for life and I will spread the word, that Michael Todd Co. did what no other business in Omaha could do for me.
