When I got to the checkout, I told the cashier I had found the hoodie on a sale rack. He said," Yep!" which made me think I was going to get the 20% off. However, in the car I looked at my receipt and saw I was not given 20% off the lowest marked price, just the lowest marked price. Clutching my receipt, I went back in and made sure I had read the sign right before going to the cashier. He agreed with me, refunded my original purchase, and then charged me the discounted price as shown on the store display. I'm not sure why it happened this way, but this time I paid the price I was expecting. Tractor Supply is a really interesting store with quite a variety of merchandise. It's fun to walk around and look at everything. Even though it seems to cater to farmers, ranchers, and those folks who live in the country, there's a lot of stuff that will appeal to us city folks too.

They made us late for work, and miss appointments because of not showing up at the times they told us they'd be there. If you like finding a unique piece for a wall in your home, a conversation piece for your kitchen or a repurposed chair painted with words and drawings from a nursery rhyme you need to explore Robin's Nest. My husband knows that if we are traveling south on highway 50 it will mean a stop (sometimes long, sometimes short) at the blue metal shed in Springfield. Currently decked out for the holidays, I wasn't quite ready to shop for Christmas but left with dish towels, a decorative tin tile, and some gray chalk paint for a project. I always find something unique and love checking out every nook and cranny that tastefully displays the latest market finds and the unique creations of local makers. Prior to COVID the shop offered classes in hand lettering and painting but I haven't seen any of those lately. I love exploring the back room where you can find thrifty pieces to DIY........from old maps, wooden paned windows, oars, farmhouse chairs, wire gathering baskets, metal letters, and much more. Ample parking is available on Main Street and the store is observing COVID-19 restrictions with mask wearing, social distancing and limiting capacity. The owner rang up my selections and gave a few tips for using the paint I purchased. She even showed me a finished piece using the paint color I had selected. The store was packed with displays so navigating the store areas might be a challenge for those with a walker or small children. Stopping at Robin's Nest is a regular occurrence for this Yelper. The owners are very knowledgeable. We had to fix a window on our porch and they were able to give us some excellent recommendations. We've never had a problem finding what we need at this store, cement, caulking, special mixed colors of paint, or making keys. They also sell some fun items in the store and they had a brew making class recently. We're very lucky to have this store in Plattsmouth. I also love their display windows during Halloween and Christmas and it's a great store to visit during Victorian Christmas on Main Street where the merchants display their wares in Victorian attire.
