My husband, and his six Groomsmen all purchased suits from here for our wedding. The cost was $450 for a jacket, vest, shirt, pants, tie, pocket square, and bonus pair of socks. The quality here has been amazing, and the suits all looked absolutely perfect! Although I was not directly involved, I was looped in on a few emails as they made sure each Groomsmen had an appointment when needed. They did a great job of following up with 7 different schedules, all living out of town! I only came in once to pick up our final items, and the shop was incredible! It has a very professional feel, with soft music, plenty of space, and a very aesthetic look. The customer service was also exceptional-- I did not have to wait long for our four remaining items, and the employee graciously offered to carry these to my vehicle with me. Although this shop may be pricier than alternatives, we had a great experience, and all of the suits will last longer than lower quality shops! Highly recommend this spot! read more

When you move into a new city and state like I did, you take for granted all the places that you used to go to back home. Coming into a new city you need to find a new mechanic in town, new barbershops, new gyms, and even a new tailor/suits store that you can trust. Luckily, Emsud's Clothiers was that for me. Earlier in the summer, I was looking to get some suits altered so that they would be more fitted for a wedding I was going to be attending. I brought my suit to Emsud and had him evaluate. He told me to try it on and then he was brutally honest with me: "The suit is too big". He was honest and frank, but that was tough to swallow because none of my other tailors/suit people had told me that previously! He showed me a few other suits and finally got one that fit me perfectly! Throughout the whole process Emsud kept saying to me, "Trust me. Trust me." And throughout the whole time he was saying that I couldn't help but think to myself, "Okay, but I better not be getting hustled!" The more I worked with Emsud the more I realized I could honestly trust him. He wasn't just trying to sell me a suit for one day, he was educating me on how to buy a suit and everything to look for moving forward and into the future---whether it was at his shop or not. I learned how to test a suit jacket to make sure it fits the way it should. I learned what a "half break" or "no break" for slacks means. I learned that every part of the outfit works together in harmony to bringing out a particular look and to get a look that I was looking for (slim and fitted), I needed to pay attention to the details: even having skinny pointed shoes mattered to creating that look. When my slacks didn't originally fit like how I expected it to, Emsud took it back and worked on it so that it was exactly what I wanted. He and his wife, daughter were great to work with and got me set up quickly with EXACTLY what I was looking for in a suit and shirt. Customer service is NOT dead! I just had the most unbelievable thing happen. So sit down and get ready for my story. Here's the set up. Jase decided Monday that he would be going to prom; which is tomorrow. I called around and it was too late for tux rental and the only day he could come into Lincoln is tomorrow morning. So tonight I start running around looking for a suit. I go to Kohl's which was a mess. I then head to JcPenney but cannot find anyone to assist me. I run over to Men's Wearhouse but after I told them my budget, they weren't too interested in helping me. I decided to drive across town to Emsuds Clothiers. THIS IS WHERE THE STORY GETS GOOD! I realize on my drive there that they have already closed. I decide to drive by anyway to window shop and see if it is worth bringing Jase back tomorrow. Emsud was still in the store and seeing me driving around in the parking lot, he comes to the door and waves me in. He was waiting for a wedding party to come in from Kearney so he says he may as well have some company while he waits. He asks me a lot of questions about Jase's build and size and age and style and wants. He walks over to the suits and pulls out two different styles, both of which I could see Jase wearing, and shows me the differences between the two. Then he proceeded to hem the pants right then and there while I waited!!!!! Who does that anymore?!?!?! The answer? No one but Emsud!! Jase will be here tomorrow morning and we will be going back to the store with the suit to have Jase try it on for further adjustments and get a shirt and tie.
