Mind you, we had to drive 14 hours to meet him right before court because we dont live in NY. We were granted a postponement for 2 months out. In that time, he was supposed to serve one of the parents by other means since we didnt have a current address or place of employment. I barely hear back from the guy, then court comes around and it gets postponed again bc he never put the ad in the newspaper. 2 months later, we get postponed Again bc he still didnt put the advertisement for service in place. Finally, its May, what we thought would be our final court date turns into a complete dismissal of our petition because numnuts once again tried to petition yet ANOTHER postponement but the court said no. By now, our grandson had been living with us from more than 6 months so the court used that as a legal means to bow out and told us to start ALL OVER AGAIN in our home state!!! Thanks for a bunch of NOTHING, UTTERLY USELESS. Now we gotta scramble to figure out what to do with school, medical, etc as we start this endevour from scratch.
