I WILL NOT recommend Michael Spano to anyone. He is one of the worst criminal. He screws ppl! Always document him & record him, as he is good with sweet talk, but he won't do anything for your case, except take your money. He LIED to me & he made false promises that he will dismiss all of my false charges made by my wife, who is being used, & her psychotic estranged sister. On top of that he will restore my relationship with my wife. I put tremendous amount of work to have my wife back, because I dearly care about her, & I love her, my commitment towards her unwavering. He left me in jail for more than 4 months, where I was assaulted by multiple inmates, leading to poor health condition, loss of hair, trauma, infected nails, abused by deputies, etc, where I shed countless tears, wailing, groaning, & praying for my wife, inside a cell. If I was outside, then I could have made difference during court appearances, where my wife appeared to seek forgiveness in any areas I remained short to love her & reconciliation, instead he made it worse to have me indicted twice. He is a liar, sells snake oil. He is dishonest & he never done anything to lower my bail to have me released early. On top of that, he tried to trick me into admitting guilt to something that I didn't do. I love my wife, & she had been used against me :(. She is everything to me...this is a simple case requiring a mediation & open communication with my wife. He failed to do so, rather he allowed lies to fly...He isn't forthcoming & he threatened me, when I asked for full refund. He failed to keep three simple promises, a. to dismiss all of
my charges, b. Restore my care with my wife, & c. Have my wife return all of my personal documents back to me. I am broke, lost, deeply hurt :(, & my life is destroyed by him. He willingly allowed this simple case to go to the County level, when he could have kept it to town court & have it all dismissed, altogether. He even wrongfully influenced similar false Criminal Contempt charge made by my wife's psychotic sister in Monroe county, where he isn't retained for it, in order to assist the ADA for it, which is against of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. He promised me that he will ask the judge to order my wife to return(pursuant to NYCPL 530.12 (1)(a)(7)(A)) all of my personal confidential documents that she stole from my backpack without my knowledge, which he failed to do so. He failed to prosecute my wife's estranged brother-in-law, who came with a knife to hurt me, instead he allowed his case to close with an ACD, after I was taken in custody with deceit, although I was compliant with everything I was asked off me. He didn't do anything to ask the ADA & the DA's office to dismiss the case, effectively, so that I can pursue my career, life, & a healthy relationship with my wife. I sustained tremendous amount of damages outside of jail, while I am wrongfully held due to my wife's doctored lies made to deceive the DA's office, law enforcement, & the court on abusing an Order of Protection against me. He didn't ask the court to vacate it & not to issue it anymore, as she is abusing it on behalf of Sarah Hofstra. I had high hopes in him & he took an advantage of me & my situation, while judged me :(. He was laughing with the ADA, during preliminary hearing, where he didn't pose better questions to put my wife into her place, while I was in groaning tears :(, unbearable chest pain, hurting for my wife's vindictive action to hurt me. He didn't care enough to advocate for my cause to have me released, earlier. He lied to me about taking me into custody by deceit with high bail without discussing with me in advance to see if I can afford it, while he withheld documents from me. I DO NOT recommend him to anyone. Please DO NOT trust him! Shame on you, atty. Michael Spano--I hoped high & believed in you. I didn't deserve this from you, you should be ashamed of yourself, as I am disheartened & disappointed by your inability to represent my cause, rather you represented the ADA's interests. I hope that you can correct this. read more
