We received our lumber order on December 7th, just before the holidays. My contractor inspected the lumber after the 6 day period, which was stored in a secure area from weather conditions. Upon inspection, over 50% of the lumber was unusable. If it were only a few bad pieces, it wouldn't have been an problem. We received lumber pieces with bows, warped twists, humps, bends, huge knots, missing edges, etc. Our contractor had to use pieces that were not the best. As you can see in one of the images, there's a huge knot in the lumber. We called Thomas and asked them to exchange the bad lumber with just good, straight, and true lumber. Deanna declined our request because the inspection was done after their 6 day period. We planned to order additional lumber for planned projects; however, we will stick to other lumberyards and perhaps the BIG box stores that offer a better exchange/return policy

I like that they are so knowledgeable about the location of each item I needed, even down to providing directions to the exact spot (i.e., halfway down the aisle or located on the left side of the aisle). Lawn, garden, paint and paint supplies, plumbing supplies and electrical and tons of tools! I would rather shop at a hardware store over a craft store any day! Oh!
