In response, the cashier, MARIA of Cashier 7 today, this morning, August 30 2025, chose to yell at him in a manner that was loud, harsh, and completely inappropriate for addressing a young child. The lady after me with very young children looking at her, looking at us. As a parent, I was deeply upset by the way she handled the situation. I work in customer service myself, and I understand the challenges staff face. However, I also know that regardless of circumstances, it is never acceptable to lash out at a customer--especially a child. The tone and manner in which Maria spoke left my son shaken and created a very negative experience for our family. You traumatized my child, Maria. This is not the level of professionalism or care I expect from your stores.
